[Syliras entrance] Finally here [Eyat'thyl]

Postby Fraha on February 4th, 2011, 12:11 am

It was around six o' clock when sound of the clogs of a white horse and the squeaky wheels of a wagon approached the Syliras gates. There were two men sitting on the front driver seats. One was holding the reins and the other was aside him, holding a bottle of vine. They were poorly dressed but the wagon was full of friuts. They were merchants, fruit merchants that were happily approaching Syliras to trade fruit with the inner bazar. The wagon went to the gates and stopped as a knight raised his hand.

Good evening travelers, what brings you to the great city of Syliras?
Asked a knight.

The older man with the vine bottle smiled ot him and peacefully said
Good evening to you mighty guardians, we are no more than merchants, arrived here to trade goods

The younger man moved the horses and the wagon aside the
main road and left the reins.

The knight went closer.
I believe that you have the right to trade and the papers that confirm it, anyway that's good news, but we first must control your merchandise and you as well as your horses and yourself.

Yes we are aware of that, so sure answered readily the older man while the younger jumped down from the wagon and walked to the rear of it.

He went back, and smiled as he saw a girl lying in the wagon, with her head leaned on the boardwall of the wagon. She was asleep, the yes covered by the headband and the hands behind the head, the legs crossed amd leaning on the other board of the wagon.

He gently pushed her shoulder Hey, Fraha, wake up we arrived. He whispered.

The girl reacted after a few seconds.
Hmm...whaaat? asked her with a sleepy voice just before she realized something.
HEY she moved the headband up in her forehead and instantly popped up, it wasn't so illuminated so she could see clearly without getting blinded Oh my god, oh my god we're here, finally at last, at the and..Finally shouted she as with a butterfly kick, grabbing the two wakizashis with one hand and the wagon board with the other she spinned out of the wagon.

Usually she had no problems to perform such action but she wasn't really awake so the fast spinning mixed with the dizzyness from the awakening made her land only on one feet and losing a bit of balance. She made a step backward to regain balance and looked at the majestic gate with wide opened eyes. Gigantic walls, archers, torches and knights were in front of her, while she fixed the two weapons in the holders she lost a tear of joy. She finnally reached Syliras, the city she always wanted to see, to visit.

It's amazing, great, beautifull! she smiled.

This action didn't remain unnoticed, in fact the second knight walked by while the first was checking the papers with the older man. Thee called the younger one and said to open the bags with the fruit.
Good evening young lady, your appreciation for the city is well accepted, you are welcome to walk inside and admire it in all it's glory, but first i have to control you.

Fraha smiled at the guard as she saw him and nodded at everything he told her.
Of course Answered she enrgically
she quiclky moved the cape aside revealing the shoulderbag to the guards. She opened it and started to take out all her things.
Here's my shoulderbag, as you can see i have an eating knife toiling stuff, changing clothes, an apple a banana, some Mizras, this this this she was speaking very fast as her impatience slowly grew inside her.

The guard was a bit shocked from such rushy reaction, he remained silent and watched at her things as she nominated all of them. As soon as she was done the knight smiled and said.
Welcome to Syliras young lady, have a good staying.

Fraha smiled back and thanked him.

She then went to the two merchants
Hey, thank you for the ride, I'l meet youa later guys!!
they laughed both and said her good bye.

Fraha ran inside the gates as fast as she could, and then started to run in a random direction, admiring all that surrounded her. She finally reached her wished goal. but now? she stopped in front of a tavern, breathing heavily.
What was expecting her? who would she meet? She couldn''t wait to find an asnwer.

[Syliras entrance] Finally here [Eyat'thyl]

Eya didn't usually go to taverns because of the bars in them, but today she felt adventurous. At the moment she was sitting at a table at the far back corner of the room. A bard sung and played the lyre three tables away. She hated the wild, craze he was producing, so she gave him a gold miza for a decent song. Eya went and sat again. The man did not play. When Eya confronted him he claimed he didn't know any 'decent' songs. Eya marched out of the tavern and hit a girl on the way out, "I'm so sorry!"

Fraha was staring at the moon that had once again hypnotyzed her. She renembered of how she stared at the beautiful Sphere in Yahebah and lots of memories came back. Suddenly she felt the need to drink something since she slept a lot earlier.

It was around 6:10 and the darkness was landing on the city. The warm light of the torches were covering areas, giving light to the streets, making them look like dungeons. The stars were shining bright in the skies and some cloudes were slowly crossing it, sweetly. Oh how she loved that feeling, it was like a hundred horses running full speed inside her.

She decided to get inside, take a bottle of something tasty, and get out.

So as she approached the Tavern's door, she took a deep breath, it was always a bit scaring to enter unkown places, specially at night.

"Ok Fraha, make a tough face" she loved her eyebrows, expressed angry eyes and raised the cloak so that a part would cover the mouth.

She placed the right hand on the doorknob, but when she pulled it on her she felt that it was incoming too fast. Moments later she saw that another somebody was coming out, her eyes opened wide from amazement as she didn't expect it, it was too late to dodge. The person bumped into her and she, light as she was fell backwards. Without even realizing she was sitting n the floor with her arms before her chest, in a guard stance. She opened her hands and flexed the fingers and streched them as she had claws.

She didn't know why she did it, but as soon as that person apologyzed she realized how foolish she was with that kind of guard and acted casuall, fixing her hair a bit.

"Oh it's nothing, really. I" she was about to smile and say something when her eyes filled with amazement.

Before her was standing a beautiful girl, she was pale and all curvy. Her white, long hair was olmost emitting light but what really amazed her were the eyes of the girl. Incredibly beautiful eyes were looking at Fraha, the girl still sitting like a panda in front of a tavern.

She automatically raised her eyebrows and her mouth remained was a bit open. She didn't know what to say or how to react, she remained silent, swimming in those eyes.

((OOC: Sorry, that last post was short and terrible. It's hard for me to switch from character to character sometimes.))
Heat rose in Eya's cheeks, and she trembled a little bit. Why did she even go to the tavern in the first place? She shook her head unconciously and squatted down. "Are you alright?" her voice was full of concern. The girl didn't seem to have been injured. Being younger Eya felt even more embaressed, her Konti nature had left her this day making her very ungraceful. Getting angry at a simple bard, pushed a girl down. Ugh. Since she had gotten to Sliras she'd been most rude. Making a note in her head about it, she reached her hand out and stood, preparing to help her onto her feet. Eya's eyes flared when the girl assumed a guarding stance, but remained still. Smiling, the Konti realized she calmed. Who's against friends? Avalis would smile upon the whole situation, maybe this would make up for her manners lately. "Hello, my name is Eya," she sweetly looked at the older girl.

((OOC we're both 17 :) ))

Fraha felt even more stupid when the Konti offered her hand to help. It olmost looked like a joke on her, but she was sure it wasn't. Fraha took her hand, it was really smooth and soft, a picture of a flowerstalk popped in her mind when she holded it. However Fraha didn't need help to raise, she hated to be helped mainly, but kindness and politness was a rule for her.

Eya...beautiful name...short though but very nice. Fraha thought that it fitted her wery well.

She smiled at her, still looking at her from below, that eye flare made her think. Why that reaction? who is she? she became curious and decided that she wants to know more about this Eya.

She took her hand but didn't clench it. She gave a push with the torso and the legs and, while holding it she stood up without even mooving it.

" Hello, i am Fraha from the tends of Jahalomar, sons of Aysaw!" Said she proudly and loudy "Nice to meet you!" She then took her hand with both of hers and shook it gently.

[The player left, suddenly so i'l just close it on my own]

The girl was a little bit surpirsed when the Benshira stood up without using help. A benshira? The girl sure had travelled a lot if she's here from Eykthol.
"It's nice to meet you too" She said with a soft voice. "Are you from Eykthol?"
Asked she then.

Fraha stopped shaking her hand, This girl sure wasn't stupid at all. " I travelled through Yahebah, Across Eloab, Anhatep, Klaridon and Kenash to get to see this great city! These are my first 10 minutes here." Enounced she smiling.

Eya smiled back, she liked to see such enthusiasm in someone's eyes. "This city has much to offer i am pretty sure you will enjoy it" After a short break she loved her eyes and gently said "I was just on my way home, but i'm sure we will meet again, perhaps not bumping into each other". They both shared a short laugh after which Fraha was disappointed about her new freind leaving but what could she do? Nothing, if Yahal will want, they wil meet again. And there were so much people to knew still. " Well then, good evening and good night to you, Mahim" Said she instinctively "sorry?" "ops, it means goodbye, excuse me, habits." "farewell Fraha" And so she went.

Fraha entered the tavern, it was kind of empty, a part from a bard in the middle and the two barkeepers behind the counter, she could count 7 people sitting in groups of 2-2-3 on different tables. All of them were men, some had weapons and others had none. The two in the far left corner were playing cards and didn't notice Fraha. The two in the right corner were arguing about something and probably didn't even hear about her, while the three in the center of the tavern were armwrestling while the last guy looked at them, bored. That guy looked at Fraha as she closed the taverns door. he was sitting, leaned forward with his elbows placed widely on the round table. One arm was holding the beer glass while the other was used as a support for his jaw. He was sitting 90 degrees from Fraha and as she entered he looked at her with his blue eyes.

Fraha didn't really mind and ignored his move continuing forward to the counter passing near the bard that was playing some lame song with his lyre.

When she was 30 CM near him he suddenly turned around with his arms holding the lyre. Fraha was risking to get pushed again, and she didn't want problems so she quikly backed off pushing with her toe. She didn't dodge it completely as in fact the careless bard only brushed her with the lyre instead of hitting her with his arm.

"Hey, could you please be more carefull sir?" Asked Fraha noticing that the abrd had his eyes closed.

" oh Excuse me young lady, I meant no harm to you, such music is not to keep one steady, and art requires daydreaming too!" Shouted he back to apologyze.

Fraha laughed at the funny rhymes he improvized and started to walk again to the bar counter while saying quickly " it's all right sir".

As she approached the counter a big pale and bald man came to her "Godd evening young Benshira, how can i appease yout thurst?" He had big red moustaches and a smile so wide that Fraha remained wordless for a couple of seconds. She laughed at his guess, he sure had to be expirienced to reconize a benshira at first sight. "Good evening to you sir, a glass of milk and perhaps a bedroom for this night would be perfect for me" asnwered she with the same enthusiasm he did.

5 sm bed 2 sm milk
The Barkeeper scrathed his beard and caressed his moustaches while thinking about something, then he said " They will come right away young lady." He then told something to his collegue which went upstairs and then he went in the kithcen and in a few moments came out with a pewter glass full of milk. " your room is ready by now, the keys should be on the bed " he enounced " and that would be 7 silver mizras in total."

Fraha was surprised by the speed and the price of the service, it was really efficient. She sipped the milk, then drank it all in once. Milk was delicious!

"IT's delisous! here, have ten silvers" Said she, satisfied for everything that happened. " have a nice evening sir" Added Fraha while heading to the stairs.

"same to you lady!" shouted the barman.

Fraha suddenly felt very tyred, the journey exausted her and milk always had a sedative effect on her.

She walked in the room, closed the door, undressed, put on her sleep robe, blew the candles and after a short prayer to Yahal she fell asleep impatient for the day that would come.

[i know it's a bit rushy but i was very tyred when i wrote this, sorry]
