Scezha loves his facial hair and usually keeps them a little thick until his father forces him to shave it. He's not at the proper age of keeping a long beards just yet. However, seeing that he is no longer with his tents, Scezha now has a pretty thick beard compared to other Benshiras his age.
* Character Concept
o Personality
Scezha was always known as a nice little boy around his tents. Everyday he would help his family needs whenever they're crossing the desert. As a descendant of Benha, he holds his family lineage with pride and always tell the truth whatever the situation. As such, he grows as a dependable and trustworthy kid. Never known to do any harm to human or animals alike.
But he also has a little personality that get him in trouble sometimes, his unending curiosity. Though he would never steal from anyone, he always wonders what was inside the other families tents. What they were carrying at the time, and what are they going to do with it. Sometimes, he explores a cave a little too far and made the whole caravan worried sick until midnight.
He still retains these curios and helpful nature, though the continual use of magic has tainted his way of thinking. He now ask for something in return everytime he help someone, no longer the selfless boy he once was. And his curiosity stretches to the limits of tolerable boundaries, he starts to enjoy the secret of others.
o Ethics
As a descendant of Benha and a believer of Yahal, he is a guy who upholds trust and honesty to the very end. Never will he tell a lie, even if it means saving someone by doing it. He also have a tendency to help someone in need, both living and dead.
Most would argue that someone with this kind of mind and ethics would not be a good negotiator, especially when they're forced to make a deal with the dead. But his master taught Scezha that, if he doesn't want to lie, all he's got to do is not telling the whole truth.
Though he initially doesn't like the idea, Scezha also didn't reject it.
o Likes
Being a Benshira, Scezha always have a huge love for arts in any forms. He likes to listen to a story; drawing a symbol on the sand; playing a harp; and many else. Even if he doesn't master the arts, he'll be happy just to be near any artistic activity.
He likes something new in his lives, something like traveling from one oasis to the other and discovering the new sand and palm trees inside it. This love for something new is also what drives his massive curiosity.
o Dislikes
It seem almost to be a package that a very honest and trustful person like Scezha would hate the act of lying and deceit. Scezha always believe that being honest is the best way to complete a negotiation, despite his master's attempt to convince him to the contrary. As such, he will not tolerate a lie.
Scezha also hates desert scorpion. Once, he got stung by its venom, and he lies on his bed for three days nearly dying. He also treats other Venomous animals as the same.
* Character History
His early lives was no different than the rest of the Benshiras. He would travel the desert with his tents and caravans, nurturing the cattle and living the harsh climate of the deserts. Scezha was the third of six brothers, so in his family he's used to sharing the responsibility.
His live begun to change when, at the age of ten, his caravans rescue a desert traveler who seems to be dying of thirst in the desert. His family then nurtured the guy to full health, although for a couple of days the man can barely move from the bed.
Scezha was told not to disturb the stranger, but his curiosity begs to differ. The man was carrying a strange, glowing substance in a flask that emits a cold and eery chill down his spine. Ignoring his father's words, Scezha grab the flask and took a little sip.
The effect was horrid. Upon drinking what was inside, a shady figure with a half rotten face and body suddenly appears before him. The terror it brought knocks Scezha unconscious for three days. When he awakes, his father took him to the stranger, who told him everything.
What he drank was a substance called the soulmist. And what he seen is, in fact, a ghost. His family was so ashamed of what he did and beg the stranger for forgiveness. They lowered their head so low, it nearly touches the sand.
The stranger, strangely, said that they don't need to apologize. In fact, he asks for Scezha to go and travel with him. Leaving his tents and caravans. The family was so shocked with his request that they cannot answer directly. After discussing the matter with the whole caravan, they agreed to let Scezha leave.
They believe that it was Yahal's wish that they met the stranger out there in the desert. That it was also His wish that Scezha took the journey with the stranger away from his caravans. Scezha accepts this decision wholeheartedly, believing in the path Yahal has laid out upon him.
The very next day, he left the desert with the stranger who then taught him much about magic and ethereal beings. He learns the way of spiritism, and absorb much of the knowledge his master had for him. His master also taught him a bit of voiding, just in case the spirit decides not to help him.
For five years Scezha learns so much about the world from his master, and sees a lot of it to feed his unquenchable curiosity. Until one day, when he woke up a little late in the morning, his master was gone.
There are no traces of him short of his books and breakfast. Scezha looks outside, trying to find his master, but he was nowhere to be found. There are no sign of struggle and no sign of djed being manipulated. His master just seem to disappear into thin air.
Scezha look at the paper his master left in the tent. It was an encrypted paper, just like what his master usually does to any of his writing. And somehow, from the back of his head, Scezha knew this paper has something to do with his master's disappearance.
Scezha then set out on a new mission. No longer traveling the land aimlessly, he will utilize all the skills he got from his master to try to find him. Or, at least, to find out what actually happens to him.
He rolled up his tent and start looking for clues. Two weeks later, his story in Mizahar begins.
