Feyra Basic Information Race: Inarta/Human Birthday & Age: Season of Summer, 490AV. 20 years old. Gender: Female Caste: Avora - Glassworker Physical Description Staying true to her Inarta heritage, Feyra possesses the red locks so distinctive of the race. She stands ever so slightly taller than the average Inarta, at 5'4", thanks to her human mother, who is also responsible for her slender figure. Startlingly green eyes are usually the first thing one notices, after the hair of course. Her skin is pale, though perhaps a shade tanner than that of full-blood Inarta people. Feyra dresses as a typical Inarta would. She tends to wear darker brydas with brighter, halter-style vinati. She hand decorates her own vinati with tiny glass beads, also made by herself. Her footwear is usually low-slung sandals, as the sturdier shoes aren't really needed for her, though she does occasionally wear leather ankle boots. She also wears earrings hand crafted by herself. Unlike many Inarta, Feyra doesn't usually braid or wrap her hair. This is perhaps, her human heritage showing through, or maybe it's just the way she is. She will however, plait tiny parts of her hair, mostly at the front, and tie glass beads into those. Occasionally, she will plait thicker sections from the front and pull them back, tying them behind her head with ribbon. Character Concept Although Feyra is of mixed blood, she cannot remember any life outside of Wind Reach, and so considers herself as a full Inarta. Growing up without a mother was always going to be difficult, but Feyra never considered herself as unlucky, always viewing life with a positive outlook. As a child she was always creating beads, not out of glass, but out of little bits of wire or unused bow string. She also used to read, as her mother had given her a stack of books, and therefore, has an intelligent and creative mind. It is easy to make Feyra smile, and she often shows a kindness to everyone she meets, no doubt due to her human heritage. Although, aside from this niceness, she has the typical outspoken ways of the Inarta. She's not afraid to make her thoughts known, and she will say what she means. While slower to anger than most others, she still possesses a somewhat fiery temper, and will stand by her views no matter who contradicts them. She holds the place of an Avora among the Inarta people. Feyra mostly creates delicate glass beads and pendants, along with small figurines and very simple stained-glass panels. She does possess the knowledge to make vases, but she rarely creates them, wanting to further her knowledge before delving into that area of work Character History Feyra was born to a human mother, though her father was Inarta. They lived in Syliras together, but, shortly after her birth, Feyra's father took her back to Wind Reach. She remembers no life before Wind Reach, and she has no desire to go looking for her mother. Wind Reach is her home, and she feels it will be for a long time. Feyra's father was a skilled weapon-smith, and incredibly skilled in archery, and she would often watch him practice. Oddly though, Feyra didn't seem to inherit his skill with a bow, lacking the poise and accuracy she would need. Instead, from a very young age, she had a fascination with the glassworks, and upon turning eight and moving to the youth section, she had begun to create her own shaky glass pendants. By fifteen, she had refined her skills further, and was accepted as an apprentice under a glassworker. Now though, at 20, she wishes to further expand her skills. Having been limited to glass beads and pendants, she'd like to try creating bigger, and more intricate pieces. Feyra also dreams of becoming an Endal. While she accepts that it's not likely to happen, (seeing as she's already 20 and hasn't shown any connection to a Riding Eagle) she hopes that maybe one day something might be possible.
