Name: Gunto of the Shadow Hand Age: 31 Race: Myrian Height: 5'11" Weight: 200 lbs "Ya know, you hear about Myrians... all that savage nonsense. Never thought much of it, till' I saw this guy. He had bones pierced on his face, tattoos and markings all over his body... just, never seen anything like it. Don't ever want to again, either." Gunto is a Myrian male of slightly above average stature, standing at roughly 5'11". During his tenure in Syliras scouting for the Myrian army, he has gained considerable bulk. His hair and beard have grown out, giving him a grizzled appearance. Unlike the rest of his body, his chest is relatively bare of markings save one. The mark of Myri is displayed for all to see; a harsh criss-cross of scars that cover his heart. Gunto's physique is standard for a Myrian, except for the obvious... The Shadow Hand's Grasp Gunto's appearance is shocking to almost everyone aside from his Myrian brethren. His body is a tribute to his acts of war and battle, pierced and marked with every triumph and victory he has seen. Most notable is the ivory ink that stretches across his face, forming the image of a skull. His lower lip is tattooed red, with lines running down past his chin to symbolize the blood of his enemies after he has consumed their essence. These red markings continue down his neck, weaving intricate patterns that seem to simulate a bone structure. The bones that adorn his face are actual fragments of his enemies, such as the human canines pierced below his lips or the gnarled finger bones looped into his ears. This outward display is common among Gunto's clan, the Shadow Hand. True to his clan heritage, his hands are both covered in solid black ink. As a warrior in the Shadow Hand proves themselves worthy, their markings grow more and more intricate and begin to cover their entire body. This is known among the clan as the Shadow Hand's grasp... it is every clan member's desire to let the grasp close around their entire body. Giving tribute to Myri and their instances of victory is their ultimate desire as warriors. "The way he looks, I don't know if I even expected him to talk. Damned surprising, he speaks pretty good common... I offered him a mug of ale, y'know, ease the tension. I tried to hand him the mug, but he grabbed my wrist and looked at me. Hell, I don't know what his expression was behind all those markings, but he said "I'll take the hand, too." I almost pissed my pants right there. Thank the gods he was joking... I think he was joking..." Gunto is a bit dark in his mood and expressions, but this has more to do with his discontent with his current situation than anything else. Being far from Falyndar for so long has given him a restless and irritable outlook on his life. In Taloba Gunto's appearance was a badge of honor that was not feared, but respected. In Sylira however, he is treated with a caution and distant demeanor that degrades his mood with every occurrence. In many ways he has withdrawn from speaking with people, but for those who brave his outward appearance and speak to him will find that he is no different than most men. He loves to boast his tales of victory or discuss the art of war with someone equally apt at it. He obviously enjoys the sight of women, but is slightly confused by the less dominant role that women have in Sylira as opposed to his home in Taloba. "He said he got hired to go after some fellas that kidnapped a girl here in town... came back a few days later, both of those knives still had dried blood on em, like he didn't wanna clean it off. Had some new bones hangin' off that leather armor too. We never saw that girl back in town though... kind of makes you wonder who exactly those bones and blood belonged to." Skills

Gnosis
Myri (1 Mark) - Myri's Gnosis was bestowed upon Gunto just as the rest of his kind. The mark itself takes shape as a raised scar on his chest, a massive slash with two small gashes running perpendicular to the main line. It is easily notable as her gnosis, rather than a normal scar. It runs over his heart, and any such wound would have killed him had he received it any other way. The mark boosts Gunto's natural abilities in combat, particularly the finesse and speed in which he manipulates his weapons. Because of this, Gunto is extremely dangerous when up close to his opponent. [tab=Languages#362f2d,#f4dda7]Myrian (Fluent) Common (Basic) Myrian Sign Language(Poor)[/tab] Posessions
