Ravok. The only civilization that's within a week travel from Scezha's location right now. He's been looking for his master for quite some time and hasn't found any clues. His only place to look for leads right now is the nearest civilization possible, and Scezha really couldn't think of a better place than this floating city.
The sun continues her routine trip to the horizon, as the huge tower symbolizing Ravok's entry dock become bigger and bigger. Scezha never been to Ravok before, his master says something about missing your steps and spends the rest of the week on borrowed cloths, but the huge tower of Ravok was already legendary. Few ever states Ravok without even mentioning the tower.
The scent of water becomes apparent with each step Nanta, Scezha's horse, took. Tonight, after so many nights spent in the wild, Scezha and his steed can enjoy a comfortable sleep in a city. Provided, of course, the guards let them pass. He sure hopes so, for Scezha would hate it if the guards prevents him from looking into the exotic city at night. Not to mention, Ravok is the only human settlement build above water. He wonders what that city looks like from the inside.
Scezha hops down from Nanta's back and carries her by her tack. A common means of courtesy to jump down from a horse when you want to talk to someone with higher social status. And Scezha sure doesn't want the guards to think that he's looking down on them. Upon arriving on the tower's gate, one of the guards gave him a long, piercing look, followed with a huff. Scezha didn't know what's in his head, and at this time proper accommodation is more important than his curiosity.
"Name and purposes?" The guards doesn't bother to make an even longer sentence, as if he doesn't know how to make it, or too lazy to make one. Scezha assumes it's the latter, and answers appropriately.
"My name's Scezha of the sons of Benha. I'm merely passing through to seek shelters from the winter night." That's all the information he need to know. After all, the guy doesn't seem like he's interested in a little chat anyway. Something poke Scezha's minds then he quickly adds. "Can I take my horse with me? I've spent so many time with her, and I'm a little uneasy to leave her by herself tonight."
