Mom? his delusional mind thought this as Iris touched his forhead. The last person who had cared enough about him to do that was his mother, and she had been dead for a while. He was about to open his mouth to call her 'Mom' when he realised she smelled different. She didnt have the overwhelming Auroma of roses about her, and with his crushed delusions he snapped back to reality and pain. He cringed in pain for a moment before reaching out to where Iris was, meaning to caress her cheek but feeling only air. She had alreadymnoved to start a fire, and he had lost his chance. Caught up in his dreams, he had missed his chance.
"Yes i'm alright...i mean no...i mean, i dont know. First time it's been this bad" he stuttered out. He watched her start a small fire, between squinted eye's. There was something about Iris, something that made his heart race as he watched her. He didnt know what it was, simply that she was special. As she moved back over to him, his heart started beating faster, even as he closed his eye's in pain. "Thank you for the fire" he managed to say without much stuttering, "And i'm like this cause i overdid my magic" he said simply. He wasnt sure how she would take that he could do magic, but he knew he needed her. "All you could do now is to get some rest. If your willing i'd be happy to share my body heat with you...or vice versa" as he said this last, he tried to make his voice deeper to sound more manly. Though ultimatly it failed, as he sounded like a boy trying to sound like a man. His natural Alto voice barely getting as deep as a tenor's.
