It was around six o' clock when sound of the clogs of a white horse and the squeaky wheels of a wagon approached the Syliras gates. There were two men sitting on the front driver seats. One was holding the reins and the other was aside him, holding a bottle of vine. They were poorly dressed but the wagon was full of friuts. They were merchants, fruit merchants that were happily approaching Syliras to trade fruit with the inner bazar. The wagon went to the gates and stopped as a knight raised his hand.
Good evening travelers, what brings you to the great city of Syliras?
Asked a knight.
The older man with the vine bottle smiled ot him and peacefully said
Good evening to you mighty guardians, we are no more than merchants, arrived here to trade goods
The younger man moved the horses and the wagon aside the
main road and left the reins.
The knight went closer.
I believe that you have the right to trade and the papers that confirm it, anyway that's good news, but we first must control your merchandise and you as well as your horses and yourself.
Yes we are aware of that, so sure answered readily the older man while the younger jumped down from the wagon and walked to the rear of it.
He went back, and smiled as he saw a girl lying in the wagon, with her head leaned on the boardwall of the wagon. She was asleep, the yes covered by the headband and the hands behind the head, the legs crossed amd leaning on the other board of the wagon.
He gently pushed her shoulder Hey, Fraha, wake up we arrived. He whispered.
The girl reacted after a few seconds.
Hmm...whaaat? asked her with a sleepy voice just before she realized something.
HEY she moved the headband up in her forehead and instantly popped up, it wasn't so illuminated so she could see clearly without getting blinded Oh my god, oh my god we're here, finally at last, at the and..Finally shouted she as with a butterfly kick, grabbing the two wakizashis with one hand and the wagon board with the other she spinned out of the wagon.
Usually she had no problems to perform such action but she wasn't really awake so the fast spinning mixed with the dizzyness from the awakening made her land only on one feet and losing a bit of balance. She made a step backward to regain balance and looked at the majestic gate with wide opened eyes. Gigantic walls, archers, torches and knights were in front of her, while she fixed the two weapons in the holders she lost a tear of joy. She finnally reached Syliras, the city she always wanted to see, to visit.
It's amazing, great, beautifull! she smiled.
This action didn't remain unnoticed, in fact the second knight walked by while the first was checking the papers with the older man. Thee called the younger one and said to open the bags with the fruit.
Good evening young lady, your appreciation for the city is well accepted, you are welcome to walk inside and admire it in all it's glory, but first i have to control you.
Fraha smiled at the guard as she saw him and nodded at everything he told her.
Of course Answered she enrgically
she quiclky moved the cape aside revealing the shoulderbag to the guards. She opened it and started to take out all her things.
Here's my shoulderbag, as you can see i have an eating knife toiling stuff, changing clothes, an apple a banana, some Mizras, this this this she was speaking very fast as her impatience slowly grew inside her.
The guard was a bit shocked from such rushy reaction, he remained silent and watched at her things as she nominated all of them. As soon as she was done the knight smiled and said.
Welcome to Syliras young lady, have a good staying.
Fraha smiled back and thanked him.
She then went to the two merchants
Hey, thank you for the ride, I'l meet youa later guys!!
they laughed both and said her good bye.
Fraha ran inside the gates as fast as she could, and then started to run in a random direction, admiring all that surrounded her. She finally reached her wished goal. but now? she stopped in front of a tavern, breathing heavily.
What was expecting her? who would she meet? She couldn''t wait to find an asnwer.
