Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

(10th Night of Winter 510 A.V.)

He had traveled far and being aboard the ship had given him ample time to think about everything. His mind had indeed wondered the endless expanse of sea...a vessel lost in the darkness. His every motion seemed hopeless and ignorant. He had finally escaped. But at what cost. What about all those he left behind. What of their fates? He didn't need to imagine what was happening to them; he had seen it all before. Relentless brutality in all kinds of forms seemed to pour forth from the human soul in a slave camp. The sight of land brought him back to his current condition. His mind started racing...he really was free. For a moment he was lost in the fact that he was no longer a slave. But now he was a runaway...Again not sure if that was better but it sure gave him a fighting chance he supposed.

He didn't have much on him. Just the essentials really, and hardly that. He felt his hand begin to twitch again and he gripped his backpack to help settle it. He was sick...but not from the sea. No this sickness reached far deeper than that. It stretched far deeper into him than that. It wasn't something that could be cured by simply not being on a boat. No if it was he would swim for shore right now. He closed his eyes and let the tremors fade away. He stood and picked up his backpack shouldering it then fixing the other strap across his shoulder. He looked frail even for a man of over six feet tall. He looked malnourished and well sick...which was exactly how he felt. He leaned against the mast as the boat docked and he smiled. For the first time in a very long time he was going to try and find peace.

With all the death, torture and suffering he was now going to try and find peace. A peace he couldn't even imagine existing until he saw this place. Yes the city in the lake. He hadn't even heard of its existence until now. Not even in the slave camp had he heard of it. He only knew of the women here. They were fortune tellers. mind readers, and healers...or so he heard. He didn't know what to believe really. He just knew these women were exotic and could definitely read emotions and thoughts...something he would have to be very careful of while here. Again he wasn't sure what to believe and honestly he just wanted to gain some strength and peace of mind before he started really interacting with locals. He figured he would pitch a tent somewhere and just rest for a few days. He didn't think slavers would have the bravery to chase him this far.

The ship docked and Serrif walked off the ship calmly as he could. He looked about but did nothing really more than that then set off in a general direction. He wasn't really sure where that general direction was but he wanted to just get away from the port really. It was night so the lighting irritated him when compared to the darkness. But again he didn't show his irritation. He wore his long brown cloak with the hood up to help shade his eyes from the light. It helped some. Every now and then he would cough but he recovered and just continued on. His pace was steady but mimicked that of a tired horse. Yes he kept going but nearly everything in his body was screaming for him to just stop. He pushed himself almost to the brink of death running from the slave camp. And the paranoia of being hunted still had him on end on the ship. But he was sure once he was here that he would be save; and generally left in peace. That was reassuring.

Every step he took helped reaffirm his thoughts. It was beautiful here; he felt peace as he looked about this wondrous place at night. Whatever Gods there were had definitely taken some pity on him. Seemed fate itself had intervened and brought him here...or coincidence. Either was acceptable to him. When one had been tortured long enough Gods became angry little kids with magnifying glasses; just watching the ants burn up. He was lucky though he had been only maimed. But nevertheless he still felt that if the Gods did exist they merely maimed him for their entertainment. Such a pointless existence; but he was going to make something of it here. Learn a trade perhaps. He knew something of herbalism and poison; he figured there was something to do and learn here if he so chose it. And that would be a good investment to make. But he was short on gold as well; as far as purchasing anything of value for the tools he needed. So he would have to make meager wages for a little while. He was sure in the culture of healers someone had a need for an apprentice...Or maybe not he didn't know for sure.

76th day of Winter 510 A.V.

"Beauty, Peaceful, full of caring people." Eisi explained to a young human girl. "Mura is a place of wonder, with an adventure at every turn. From the long walks on the beach, to the shopping, its a place you will never forget." Eisi spoke in conman, her accent barely there. The small human girl watched as this woman explained her home land. Eisi was a Konti, she had long wavy white hair, eyes of that of a cool sun rise, with hints of blues and purples. He soft features flowed perfectly ending with rose pink lips, softly pouting but always smiling. He illuminated scales flashed with the light, with blues and peaches. The little girl looked off to the distance, seeing the soft out line of Mura.

Eisi smiled. "Home at last" she stood and watched as they grew closer to the docks. A smile came to her face, bright as the skys above her.

Jyo was unusually quiet on the boat ride to Mura. He wasn't really a quiet kind of guy, but he didn't see the need to start any trouble. And he was starting to realize something. This was definitely not his kind of party. This was something pretty opposite of his kind of party. He didn't see many other humans on this small boat, and the ones he did looked like they were here to sample the famous book collection here. Which, apparently, they were.

He'd left his horse in some stables on the other side of the crossing. He paid a few silvers to ensure it'd be well taken care of until he got back. Light'd be fine there, but Jyo was beginning to wonder how he'd fare here. "Well, you wanted to explore the world..." He muttered under his breath. He was still looking around when the boat landed and he departed.

He resisted to the urge to ask where all the guys were. He walked right by the welcoming committee after paying his due, and when they asked him what he needed, well, there was only one response: "Wish I knew."
Kiss me fast cuz there's no time to lose.
Leave the light on I'll be back for you.
If I die tonight it'll be doing what I know is right.

Spring, Day 2, Year 511
His webbed hands resting lightly on the mane of his seahorse, Anshun Tulish entered the White Isle Harbor, his dorsal fins waving slightly in the gentle current. The boats above his head cast almond shaped shadows on the sandy floor of the harbor, and the chains of anchored boats were all too obvious in the distance.

Within minutes, he was leaving his seahorse, and bidding it a temporary farewell, as he swam toward the surface of the harbor. Once his head breached the surface, Anshun took a deep breath of the warm air and swam quickly toward the shore, his backpack barely slowing him down.

Before leaving the warm and calm water of the harbor, Anshun was sure to fill his water skin, so if he was on land for too long, he could moisten his throat to breathe. Once on shore, he walked slowly and hesitantly, as this was his first time walking on land.

Anshun walked the wooden path, looking in wonder at the beautifully painted murals of sailor's stories and tales. He was amazed and shocked at the beautiful buildings and statues he saw, and he barely even noticed Muti before he was standing right beside her.

"Hello! I am go to the lake of...silver, becuase I must...swi...swim in water to breathe well" Anshun said haltingly in common, trying to do his best with the language he had so rarely spoken. After this halting speech, he walked off toward the gate and the city.

Season of Spring, Day 22, 511 AV

Quelen smiled to herself as she approached the harbor. It had been a long a quiet trip from Charbosi to Mura, but she had been planning this journey for years. Now she was finally at her first stop, and eager to learn and see.

Before she could even leave the water she found herself staring at the elegant boats that floated on top of the water. She'd seen a few boats before, but never so close or so beautiful. She swam up and lightly brushed the fingers of her right hand against the bottom of one of them, marveling at the feel of the material it was made from. What was it called again?... Wool?

Leaving the boats she continued deeper into the harbor until she finally came to where the land met the water. Quickly she made her way up and onto the dock, standing there for a few moments to let water drip off of her and her clothing. Spotting the path that seemed to be the way to go she adjusted her pack and started to walk forward confidently. Even with all the time she had spent swimming lately her body still remember how to move well on land.

When the woman asked her what she needed Quelen smiled warmly and replied, "Thank you for the welcome. I've come to Mura to learn of Konti music and dance. Is there someone I may speak to for help with that?"

Season of Spring, Day 84, 511 AV
Shri smiled as she approached the harbor. She was returning home from a tiring trip to Lhavit. She was eager to get back home to Mura, and on the trip back she couldn't help herself from jumping with joy. She missed her home island very much.

She dragged her little bag across the ground, and happily sighed. When the woman asked her what she needed, Shri replied "I'm coming home!"

77th day of Spring, 511AV

Stepping forth onto the docks, she listened as the waves crashed against the rocks and hulls of the boats. A faint smile formed upon her lips as she listened to beautiful noise the waves made, the sound was not often appreciated by many, however to her it was like a song from nature. Her eyes seemed to dance with delight as she took a seat on the edge of one of the docks, letting her feet dangle while listening to what she believed was one of the sweetest songs ever. The wind blew through her long sun-kissed locks of blonde hair which had been hanging loosely on this day, instead of up in a pony-tail or a neat bun. The end of her white linen robes brushed up against her legs as the soft breeze blew. After a few moments she decided it was time to make her way passed the docks and deeper onto the Island. The Konti woman stood, seeming to be no taller than 5‘6 in height and appearing to weigh no more than 145 pounds. Dragging her bag, she continued on her way with no set direction in mind. She loved her fellow Konti and all of the Island’s visitors, but knew that she would soon be leaving home to set out on her own journey through this life. She hoped that when the day of her departure came, she wouldn’t be missed too badly. The smile remained upon her lips as she tilted her head back momentarily allowing for her icy hues to look towards the sky. As she did this her only thought was “It will be a good day."

Spring 5th 511AV

It had been several seasons since Ora had set foot on her home island. It had been strange being so far from all she had known, and not only strange, but in many ways terrifying. It had been so long, so wearing on the naive woman. Ora felt her soul drained after the tribulations in River Fall, she left with questions, and only returned with more.

Purple eyes looked over the island lovingly, how she had missed this island, the people, the buildings, everything about this island was dear to the Konti. Why had she even bothered to leave in the first place? Little good had come of the journey.

The boat ride had taken a long time, but Ora never minded being on boats, it brought her closer to the ocean, closer to Laviku, her truest father. As the Konti got off the boat a smile crossed her face, the events from the seasons prior seemed to melt away as her feet touched the island.

Home, she was home.

White Isle Harbor

Gemtana had been traveling with a trading vessel for nearly two seasons now. The ship had stopped in Abura to resupply and buy and sell trade goods. Gemtana took this opportunity to finally make her way to Mura to advance her studies in Medicine. She talked to the captain and the two struck a deal. If she attended minor wounds and sicknesses of his crew, she could have a place to sleep. She would be able to provide her own food in the form of raw fish and seaweed from the waters. So, they set sail.

Her travel was much easier than expected. The crew rarely suffered anything more than scrapes and bruises. They suffered through a few storms but thankfully no sea monsters. She did her duty and then spent her days swimming along side the ship or painting the various sailors in her book. She didn't converse much, keeping to herself often. Many of the sailors tried to flirt with her, she figured they were just lonely at sea.

They eventually arrived at the harbor which was quite beautiful in Gemtana's eyes. Boats of blue and white were everywhere, beautiful in the bright sunlight. Gemtana waved to the crew goodbye and dove into the waters. She kicked with her powerful tail, her wings steering her course. She occassionally dove out of the surface and would glide above the reflective surface, then dive back in. Her magenta coloring stuck out brightly, a strange and exotic sight she figured. She finally reached the dock and leapt out and maintained a hover. She had arrived in Mura finally. She looked back at the boat that brought her and smiled, she would make the most of her new home.

New horizons and new people. It was all very exciting to Percival as he made looked at the boats promising to bring him to an exotic isles. "Your saying that somewhere in that endless sea there are a strange and exciting group of individuals? And that they have lived with their ways and beliefs? That is something I have to see! Sign me up! " Percival announced as he stood at the pier.

For the most part the trip was uneventful. Percival stood at the edge of the boat at times wanting the first glance at the islands and finally it was there in all it's glory. Taking his first step on Konti Isles a sense of accomplishment surged through him as he strolled confidently through the neat, functional harbor. Moving back and forth though the building, attracting the amusement of some of the locals as his fluttering cloak moved back and forth. Finally he made his way to the enticing white doors a momentary wave of excitement washed over him as he surged forward.

Greeted and exchanging initial pleasantries he spoke with a hint of a smile on his face. "Not much really. Just point me to where I can get some lounging and some work and I'll be all set!" He smiled as he watched her write off his response. And with that he set off unto Mura, ready for anything. Looking to see if he can call this new area home.
