The Trading Post The Trading Post is a market that is distinct from the other storefronts in that it is open air, and not enclosed at all. It is populated by a Myrian and a Charodaen trader, though never at the same time. For the first half of the week, the Myrian merchant sells her wares, and in the second half of the week, the Charoda sells theirs. This post is the primary source of fresh fruit and vegetables and meat (besides fish, at any rate) for Black Rock's inhabitants. The Myrian traders usually have a very exotic stock to sell - everything from some leather products to great slabs of meat to baskets to pottery to enormous, beautifully-coloured fruits and vegetables of all kinds and sizes. They are displayed in baskets, in crates, and hung from wooden rails overhead. They will sell raw and unfinished goods, wood, ore, herbs, and the like, as well as the finished products - carvings, metal, herbal medicines. Occasionally, there might be a vibrantly-plumed jungle bird available, though more for display than actually expecting anyone to buy them. The Myrians love to barter and trade, but otherwise accept bikka or mizas. They do not accept Ashl. The Charodaen merchant is as different from the Myrian as the sea's floor is from the rain forest. The strange-looking Charoda waits with woven baskets of sea vegetables, from cucumbers to grasses, along with fish from the deeper waters. They sell shells, woven goods, trinkets and treasures that have been found along the sea, and specially cultivated pearls. The Charoda accept shells or mizas. Pricing information can be found here.
