This is the most central structure of the entire Spires. The Temple is the center of Jamoura life and culture as they consider themselves to be children of Caiyha. She is their mother and patron so they have dedicated a temple to her worship that they believe is worthy of her. As is everything in the Spires, life makes up its structure as well as its contents.
The Temple is a complex weave of various life forms all giant as is the nature of Taldera. It is a series of structures which interlink to remind those there that all life is interwoven like a web or a circle. They are within a kind of grove formed by the largest of the trees. The first structure that one would encounter would be the main entrance.
The main entrance is guarded by twin butterflies whose massive, multicolored wings make the gates. One has the feeling of approaching a swirling, brightly colored rainbow as one gets ready to enter the sacred grove and the Temple complex. At night the butterflies glow with a luminescence that reflects the myriad of colors and lights the grove with a multicolored show of beauty. However when the visitor approaches, the wings lift and one is admitted into the grove.
The grove is always verdant and full of life. One walks on an interwoven bed of vines that acts as a street weaving between the great trees and the altars that make up this complex. Jamoura mill in and about the various areas, some meditating and some simply basking in Caiyha's glory.
The central portion of the Grove is the Hahk'maghtar, the grouping of the tallest and oldest trees in Taldera. They form a great circle and the city is built around them. However here there is no artificial or constructed structure, only the forms the trees themselves have made while growing. Here Caiyha rules and nature abounds in its purest and wildest forms..even the city itself does not touch the trees. The Jamoura enter them by swinging in on vine plants.
It is here that only those chosen by their alpha come to meditate and contemplate. They make notes of their observations and revelations by means of the squid creatures and they are stored in a library structure near the circle. Eyris is also worshiped here, as the goddess of wisdom and knowledge: the Jamoura value knowledge above all. Qalaya also holds a place of honor, as the Jamoura devote themselves to recalling memories.
