Jokor was walking towards one of the training grounds that where littered through the castle/city of syliras, observing one of his brand new daggers as he did so, an eager smile on his face, he couldn't wait to get a feeling for the weapon, its a lot easier negotiating with a weapon and a fake smile then with a fake smile alone afterall.
It didn't take long before he arrived on the training ground as he walked around in search of a free dummy, hoping that there was at least one still free when it was this busy. As he continued to search and didn't see a free spot he bagan to scowl, he couldn't kick a weaker guy (if there even was one here) away with those knights.
However he was to busy with looking for a free dummy that he didn't look where he was walking and bumped into somebody.
"Watch where you are going ya moron! Didn't the gods give ya eyes when you where born for a damned reason?"

2 sides of a bathered coin [dimitri]

Dimitri watched as the short man bumped into another Squire, chuckling at his outrage. He always found it hilarious how shorter men always had bigger tempers. He continued to perform the Martial Ritual #2 his master taught him. Block overhead smash. He lifted his shield, tilting it backwards and to his left so the imaginary blow would glance off. He followed with a stab to the gut. Duck neck chop. He ducked, remembering to swing his shield back to keep from imbedding it in the ground, and countered with a slash at ankle height. Roll away from overhead smash. He rolled remembering to tuck his shield close to keep it from flailing. He turned and countered with a stab to the spine of his imaginary attacker.

His bare chest glistened with sweat and was lighty coated in dust. He enjoyed a good workout and wished he had a sparring partner. He looked around for someone to challenge, maybe place a wager.

The squire looked down on him and smiled.
"Oh sorry, I didn't see you there kiddo. don't you think your a bit young to come to the training grounds."
Jokor narrowed his eyes in anger as he glared up towards the larger person. Crossing his arms as his face drew itself into a scowl.
"I'm a kid anymore big guy." He spat out the last two words with enough venom to make a dhani proud.
"Besides I bet I can kick your ass into tomorrow if I really put my mind into it, so why don't you shut it and point me towards a free training dummy."
The squire was rather amused by the jokor's outburst.
"Oh really, well I doubt you can even stand up to somebody that isn't as well trained as I am yet." He looked around for a moment untill his eye fell on the training squire a few meters away recognizing
"Why don't you do a practice match with him there first, just so see if you realy have the stones to back up your bark." He pointed towards the squire.
"of course if you are scared you can still back out and I'll just point you towards a training dummy."
Jokor gave the squire a defiant look.
"Sure i'll pound him into the curb before I start on you, I could use a warm up."
he turned his back to the squire and walked towards the other one that he was pointed towards. His anger blinding him for the fact that he didn't have any type of unarmed training nor any experience in the use of his daggers, unlike the squire who probably trained every single day.

2 sides of a bathered coin [dimitri]

Dimitri began Martial Ritual #3. Arrow flying toward head. He raised his shield to his head and angled it back and to the side, so as to deflect the imaginary arrow away. His arm wasn't perfectly steady as he held his massive shield at this awkward angle. He sprinted a few steps forward to close in on his imaginary attacker. This ritual was supposed to be done while fully running but the training ground was really full, and he didn't quite have the motions perfected. Javelin thrown at gut, arrow at shoulder height. He knew javelins often crippled shields if taken directly. He ducked and spun, the imaginary arrow flying over his head and the javelin being smashed by the force of his shield spinning around him. A bit ostentatious and showy but he was practicing. Normally he would duck and try to glance the javelin. He ran a few more steps to the 'attacker'. Three arrows at chest. He raised his shield and kept running toward the attacker. His 'attacker' drew a sword. Sword slash at neck, sword side. He angled his own sword to allow the attacking sword to slide down to his hiltguard. He then followed through with a straight jab with his shield. This would throw the attacker off balance. Attacker off balance, upward slash from ground toward ribs. He countered with a downward slash of his own, knocking the enemy's sword askew. He followed with a roundhouse style swing of his shield causing the bottom corner of his shield to crush the opponent in the skull. He stopped his shield midswing before it collided with the short angry man he saw earlier's head.

His arm in pain from stopping the momentum, he barked "Be more careful, you could have been injured!" Dimitri relaxed his arms, "Weren't you payig attention to your surroundings?" he yelled. He began rolling his shoulders and bouncing on his heels to stay loose. "Now please be more careful." He said more politely than the man might have deserved. "Good luck with your training." He turned away from the man to head to a more vacant area.

Jokor's eyes widened for a split second as he saw the shield heading towards his face before his instincts kicked in and he dropped himself to the ground avoiding the shield's path, not that it mattered in any way because the owner of the shield stopped the shield before it would had hit him anyway.
"How the petch did I had to see that coming?" He said in a raised tone. "I thought you knew I was coming with all the noise I made earlier?"
He stood up from the ground not bothering dusting himself off and gave the squire a grin with way to many teeth as the squire turned around and began to walk away from me.
"Running away? I thought squire's where made out of sterner stuff."

OOC: sorry for the delay. Internet problems+ school makes for a sucky update schedule.

Dimitri chuckled at the man's obvious attempt at getting a response out of him. "Civilian, I suggest you take your leave. My shield stopped because I caused it to stop. And as for my awareness of your presence, should a lion pay attention to every mouse that roars? So unless you have some business take your leave, or the shield may not stop so quickly." Dimitri stood back examining the man who would surely rise to the challenge. He was short, perhaps chest height on Dimitri. He was thin, almost like a starving slave, with a hint of musculature on his bony frame.

Dimitri didn't see any weapons, but figured the man probably had some. Most people these days did. His cloak somehow gave him the appearance of being even shorter than he was. Maybe he could get some good sparring out of the feisty short fellow. If he had to guess he suspected daggers. Dagger fighting wasn't too hard, his shield and reach helped alot.

Jokor suppressed the urge to just kick the self important squire in the balls when he called him a mouse, settling for a glare at him and grinding his teeth together.
"I am NOT a mouse." He grit out between his clenched teeth. " And you don't look like a lion to me either, more like a heap of shyke that thinks he is the world."

He cracked his knuckles in what had to be an intimidating way, but his small size and rather thin frame didn't really help with that. Making his attempt seem rather laughable.
"And I bet that taking that overblown ego of yours down a peg or two would doing a favor to this city either way." He straightened up and looked up towards him, a mix of determination and a firm glare on his face.
"So ya going to find the spine to take me on? Or are you going to run like the useless piece of shyke that you are?"

Dimitri smirked at the little man. "No need to get short with me civilian. Draw your weapons, we shall spar." Dimitri checked the area around them in order to ensure noone would get caught in the sparring. He held up his tower shield in his left arm, sword in his right. He wasn't sure of the man's fighting ability but by judging his appearance, he didn't seem like much. Short, scrawny, he looked slightly like a scrapper, but not much more.

Dimitri settled into his stance. He held his shield out in front of him, his sword pointed down at his side, pointing down and away. He crouched slightly, to allow himself to move more quickly in reaction to attack. His feet were about shoulder width apart, his left forward near his shield his, right back. He was able to view the man from the right of his massive tower shield. His eyes grew stoney as he settled into the battle mindset. Being an unarmored spar he would have to settle for feints and flat blade smacks. And of course his shield. If he cut the man, he could die, and despite the man's harsh nature, he didn't want to kill him. "Ready when you are little mouse."

Jokor gave the squire a grin that wouldn't have been out of place on the god of chaos himself, it certainly would have been a first sign for anybody with some common sense that this little guy had some things up his sleeves.
Though you could hear him grit his teeth again when he was called a mouse.
"I'm a rat not a mouse ya vagik!" He yelled out before he ran as he could towards Dimitri, keeping as far away from the squire's sword arm as he could. His right hand quickly drawing one of his concealed daggers out of his belt.
As soon as Jokor thought he was close enough he darted to the side, trying to get behind him and that irritating shield out of the way.
Grinning all the way as he attempted to plunge his dagger straight into the squires arm or back. Whatever was closest.

^^; sorry I suck in fight scenes.

Dimitri watched the man charge his left side. He was making the mistake many efore him had made. Avoid the sword and you avoid begin hurt. Dimitri turned with the man as he tried to get behind the squire. The man stabbed at him with his dagger. As Dimitri turned he used his shield to smack away the blade with the edge of his shield. He then lunged forward, the gap between the quickly closing, he used this mobile force to punch his shield toward the man's body. If struck would likely throw the man to the ground, if not then at least offbalance. The man was somewhat fast but not incredibly so. Following the shield punch, Dimitri swung his blade low at the man's legs, and would twist the blade before contact so as to strike the man with the flat of his blade. If the man moved right, he would have his feet knocked from under him. If he moved left, Dimitri's shield would follow him. And if he backed up, he would set Dimitri up to continue swinging his blade upward, possibly striking the man's chin.
