It should be stated, just to avoid confusion, that you do NOT need a Paypal account to donate; so long as you have a debit card or credit card, you can donate.

You are actually both right. You don't need a Paypal account if you click the link on the left side of the page and give them your card info. And you don't need a credit card if you have a Paypal account, as you can pay from your bank account, or through eChecks, etc. (Checks can take a few days to clear, though; you shouldn't expect your donation to show on the site right away if you choose them as your payment method).

It's a nice idea to keep the donations voluntary and anonymous, if the donor wishes so. I also highly appreciate Goss' post about where the money goes - it's really important that everyone knows that.

However, I'm not willing to donate any money to something that is simple and priceless fun to me. I tend to stay away from the material part of creative engagement, because it should be creative engagement, not material one. Just my opinion, though, and obviously not a very common one, since I already see a lot of people running around with donor medals. XD
