Fala’mar The Charoda Merchant Basic Information Race: Charoda Birthday & Age : Spring 468 | 23 years old Gender: Female Physical Description Fala’mar is a small svelte creature. Sinewy muscles coiled along her body are streamlined and narrow, built for travel through water. Her skin is smooth and rubbery, a light grayish blue. There is webbing between her hands and toes plus thin webbing along her forearm that flares outward. Instead of hair, a small dorsal fin rests atop the crest of the Charoda’s head. Fala’mar has long ears that taper off into many points that are often hidden by long numerous tentacles growing at the base of her skull, giving the illusion of hair. The Charoda woman has large dark eyes that seemingly never blink. A filmy translucent eyelid that allows her to see underwater makes her pupil less eyes look cloudy and opaque, making it difficult to discern what exactly the Charoda is looking at. A result of her playful nature, the Charoda woman is frequently seen wearing a wide disarming grin that reveals rows of sharp pointed teeth. Fala’mar adores frippery and finery. She adorns herself in coral, bright shells, and lustrous metals. Nearly all of the jewelry she wears is self-crafted. She loves scavenging and collecting seemingly useless items along the bottom of the ocean floor that catch her attention and then fashioning them into wearable pieces. Character Concept Fala’mar is a young traveling merchant, having just forged out on her own to start a trade business with other cultures. She specializes in selling and trading jewelry made from coral and has no problem bolstering the exotic and rare quality of the Charbosi coral. Fala’mar has a way with words, which has turned her into a rather sly merchant. She frequently relies upon relaying extravagant anecdotes and wild tales of her coralline home to customers in order to pique their interest. In reality, her childhood in Charbosi was very peaceful and her beautiful finds are the result of careful scavenging rather than any sort of exciting danger, but that has not stopped her from getting carried away with her stories. Bright and friendly, Fala’mar is much more adventurous and bold than many other members of her peaceful reclusive race. Propelled forth by a notably buoyant personality, the Charoda harbors a wonder for other beings and other places. However, what some laud as zeal and livelihood others condemn as airiness and capriciousness. Though resourceful, curious, and astute, it does not change the fact that Fala’mar has grown up within the safe and placid depths of the coralline city of Charbosi. There is still much naivety in the girl’s outlook.
