Character History
Maisha was born and raised in a human society so she had grown accustomed to the human ways of living. She learned how to socialise, how social hierarchy and laws worked, even learned a bit of mathematics and literature. Although her parents were not of her blood they raised her with care and love. They soon came to realise that Maisha was a Kelvic when they noticed how fast she was growing.
The parents were worried as there had been some recent cases of Kelvics being stolen into slavery for their obedient nature. Although Maisha was mature at a delicate age of 2, they felt it was necessary they Maisha learn the nature of her kind and venture off into the wild.
Maisha, confused at the time, accepted their proposal. It was out of love that she did as they asked but she was worried that leaving the life she had been so used to living was going to be hard. She had no one once she stepped out of town.

“I’m alone. I have no one. I’m afraid.
Who do I turn to? I have been forced out from the life I knew so that I could survive. Now I’m not so sure it was a good idea for me to leave. Could I survive here? I see trees that blanket the sky, I see plants so dense it feels like a living carpet, I see myself so out of place.
My parents say I’m a Kelvic and that I have all I need to survive. Do I? They tell me I can turn into a wonderful animal but I haven’t done it before. I don’t know if I can do this but I will try. I will do my best. For parents, I do it for them. I will see them again. I will. Please, to whoever will find me. Help me.
