Alone and Out

[Calovan]

Calovan nodded again and jumped into the air, morphing back into raven form in the few moments were he hovered in the space between sky and ground. Swooping back over to the yukman, he landed on a branch just opposite the creature's head and cawed loudly enough to draw it attention. Once the beast looked at him, he morphed back to human shape and taunted it.

"Come here, you disgusting creature. Get over here and eat me, if you have the stones for it!" Drawing up his courage, he leaned over and spat on the beast's face, knowing it would incite it to rage. The yukman bellowed its anger and began to charge towards him. Calovan merely sneered.
"That's right, you idiot. Keep on moving in a straight line, just like that."

[Nyahna Sasin]

Sasin nodded at Calovan as the kelvic flew off. Sasin crept foward, trying to get within hearing distance. He jumped as he heard a loud caw. He saw Calovan and the yukman's heat not too far from where he was.

He grinned as he heard Calovan's insults. Slithering as fast and quietly as he could, slithered into the clearing in time to see the yukman charge at Calovan. Seeing how angry it was, he decided to forgo stealth and darted towards the Yukman, jaws outstreached.

Coiling his tail, Sasin quickly calculated how far it was, and sprang, sinking his fangs into it's neck, aiming for it's spine.

[Calovan]

The yukman roared and skidded to a halt, crashing into the tree it had been rushing towards instead of ascending it like it had planned. As Sasin's fangs buried in its spine, it lost all feeling in its lower body and crumpled to the ground. Still snapping its jaws and bellowing at the two that had tricked it into its current predicament.

Calovan jumped down from the tree and landed on his feet with precision and calculated grace, and he stared down at the yukman, quickly thinking how to stop the creature's movements and not harm Sasin. Finally, he reached a conclusion. Time couldn't be wasted anymore. Lifting up his leg, he brought his foot crashing down on the beast's throat, crushing its windpipe and throwing it into shock. Its spams came to an abrupt halt, and it died a few seconds later. The sound of snapping bones could be heard as the large animal's own dead weight caused its frame to break under the pressure.
"It is done."

[Nyahna Sasin]

The Yukman roared, and thrashed, threatening to throw him off. He pulled himself off it's back, and moved to the side, narrowly avoiding being crushed as it crumpled to the ground. He turned around in time for Calovan to stick the finishing blow.

Funny. He never knew monsters could weight that much.

Shifting back into his human form, Sasin glanced at the downed monster, then at the kelvic in front of him. His features twisting into a smirk. "You're not a bad hunter. I'm impressed." He remarked grudgingly.

"Now, If you don't mind, I think I'll be going to get my clothes back. "

[Calovan]

Calovan inclined his head to Sasin and smirked.
"Likewise, you are equally capable. I thank you for the distraction provided, and for the company. This kill will be well-rewarded. Next we meet, I shll reimburse you with half of the income I receive from this beast."
Leaning down, the kelvic nodded to Sasin as he began to work on skinning the creature for its pelt. Perhaps he could have someone fashion clothes for him from the animal's bounty.

[Nyahna Sasin]

Sasin nodded. "Very well then. I hope to meet you again soon." Glancing around, he pinpointed the town, and headed off in that direction, looking back briefly to see the Kelvic hard at work.

Rooting around in the bush, he found his clothes, and put them on, shaking off the leaves first. Brushing a branch from his hair, the Dhani headed into the city, his mind focused on the bed and bath in his room.

"I'm way out of practice." He mumbled.
