Physical Description
First thing often noticed about him is that he is covered head to toe in the inky dark clothing that is well accustomed to traveling at night. Upon his head he wears a hat with a broad rim, pulled low to cover his eyebrows. Wrapped around his face is a black cloth that covers from the middle of his nose down leaving only his eyes, and the top of his nose and cheeks uncovered. On his body he wears his night leather armor that covers his chest, arms, and legs, and completes the outfit with black leather gloves and boots.
Standing about at six feet tall, with a slim athletic body he would cut quite the imposing figure. He studiously exercises, to keep his toned figure, and practices with the sword often, keeping up with regimen from a previous trainer, to be always prepared and to plan for future exploits. His thick black hair now more patchy and singed in someplaces along with his once unmarred skin has much changed now after a latest clash that left him covered head to toe in pot marked scarring, and patches of white burned flesh. Now with this, he tends to keep very covered up always to avoid attracting attention with the gruesome scars that cover his his face and body.
Condition
-The phantom pain can be cured by a once marked healer. The after scarring of white potched skin can be cured from a twice marked healer.
-white patches can be healed with damage to sweat glands on chest- can be handled by a 1 mark healer.

Character Concept
He possesses a rather calculating personality, always weighing the odds, and seems to have a rather detached emotional capacity to those he is involved with. He does not trust anyone, and probably never will, and those who think he trusts them are being sorely deceived and had best watch their backs. His trust issues date far back, and his past has left him so scarred that he is unable to maintain intimate relationships, or even business partnerships for very long, often trying to betraying his business partner before he can betray him, and he possesses a slight paranoid side to him as well. He does not count anyone among his friends, or even acquaintances, thinking more of them as merely pawns, or tools, though he is smart enough to not let on to this to those he is involved with currently. He knows that most people rely on trust, and he still remembers enough of it that he can pretend to be friends for long enough for him to get what he wants, and after that whomever he is using at that moment better be prepared or get far away, or suffer dire consequences. He still feels emotion, but certain ones he long ago forsook, such as love, guilt, and fear. Even though he lacks fear and guilt, he is capable of knowing when to back down, but usually does not get himself into situations where he must submit, his pride disdaining of such things. He also doesn’t just decide to break the law for no reason, only doing it because it must be done, or in times of extreme emotion. Hate is the most prevalent feeling he has, and the entire purpose of his existence is built on it, and achieving his mission in life. Without this hate, and his quest he would be lost, and broken.
Character History
Born in the city of Sunberth, he grew up among a family of sculptors and carvers, made tough by their surroundings, fiercely independent, free thinkers, but also very compassionate to their only son, Darian. Wanting their son to be just as intellectually focused as they where, they homeschooled Darian, and eventually also his childhood friend, Sophia, about reading and writing. When Darian began showing a aptness for carving they where more than happy to nurture this skill, his father also teaching him a bit in the art of sculpting as well. His friend Sophia took more of a liking with combat, specifically using the dagger, and his parents did their best to teach her all they know. As well during this fighting lessons, they would teach their son, who also needed to learn how to survive in such a harsh world. Naturally they instantly became sparing partners with Darian favoring the long sword, and Sophia moving towards the daggers. It was always lighthearted fun in their spars, and afterwards they would usually retire to their lessons, or practice in their art, Darian working on carvings and sculptors, and Sophia working mostly on painting. This went on until Darian’s 16th year, when something unforgettable happened to him.
As they grew up so closely together, and since they were of the same age, they naturally began to like each other as they became older. By their fifteenth year, Darian had begun courting Sophia, and they had more than a few intimate relations during the year. Love blossomed between the two of them, and they were inseparable. It was a good time for him, and he thought it was the same for his love.
Sadly, just weeks before his birthday, something tragic happened. After it happened it left him sorely wounded, his two beloved parents killed, and his beloved Sophia running off, all in the same night. This marked the day to be forever in Darian’s memory, and the seed of hatred was planted in his heart that day. Thankfully a wandering man, whom claimed that he had some sort of friendship with his father, took him in, and cared for his wounds.
This man from then on would become to be known as the Mentor by Darian, and always referred to in that manner. Through his mentor he would come to be involved in magic, the older man nurturing his talent in carving, but scarcely anything else except magic, and combat. It was his mentor whom introduced him into Malediction, which he primarily tutored him in, and also other fields of magic, shaping him for the future he planned for him. Mentor took care of him, treated him with respect, and always made sure his needs where fulfilled, and he began to see the man as a father figure, and grew to love him, and would remain loyal to him for a long time. Along with his mentor he had two other trainers, a grizzled old Myrian named Rolack, and a seductress known as Matilia, a woman whom would later in the years become his lover. While Mentor taught him about magic, Rolack’s responsibilities where to teach him about combat, and survivability out in the wilds and Matillia primarily educated him intellectually, along with a bit of training in the arts of stealth, seduction, and larceny. The arts she taught him where to help him to survive in the city, and be able to eventually carve out a niche for himself, but mostly kept these secret as the Mentor did not approve of him learning this, and wouldn’t even let him be educated, had Darian not begged him so much. Also his infatuation with Matillia likely also forced his hand and allowed Darian to continue his education. The Mentor had bigger plans for the boy, yet kept them all in the dark as to what those plans where, and they served as a continual curiosity for Rolack and Matilia, but not Darian whom was just happy to enjoy things practically the way they were with a few notable changes.
Through his studies with the alluring Matillia, he began to get closer to her, but guarded his heart that was still tender from his last tragic love. Gradually though, he began to love this woman just as much as he did Sophia. From then on their relationship became more physical and emotional than ever, and they enjoyed two years of bliss together. However this was not to last, as tragedy struck yet again, with another shocking betrayal that ended in the deaths of his lover, his mentor, and Rolack. The event is what made him who he is today, forever hardening him to the ills of the world, and directing his mind to his purpose once more, and this time with more weapons in his arsenal. Morbidly he gravitated to Malediction, even more so than before, and is very much interested in developing his skill further in it.
After the last incident in Sunberth, he decided it was time for a move, and began exploring around Mizahar, spending a bit of time in Falyndar with the help of a couple of Myrians before returning back to his home in Sunberth. There he now resides currently.

Slight increase in running speed to whomever holds the item, however. Makes one have an insatiable desire to hold and forage for food constantly.

Cons: When the dagger has animal blood on it and the hilt is in contact with the wielder he feels as though a small animal is crawling and scratching over his body.
Note: When Darian activates the dagger alone and in the dark, a large ghostly rat can be seen clinging to his chest snarling up at him. It is unknown whether this ghost rat is real or a figment of Darian’s imagination. To be certain will require a modded thread.
