Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Mysterious as Alvadas was, Dlight couldn't help but think that the randomness of it was not a endearing trait. "I like less populated areas, too." He let escape out, mind roaming back to the wilderness and the Zith colony of Xy. "The night sky is marvelous enough for me."

Aeli's lack of a plan caused a spark of curiosity to arise in Dlight, ears catching onto her mention of the White Isle. "
You've come straight from the White Isle?" It was more a statement than a question, surprise evident in the Zith's deep voice; he'd been to the White Isle in his far past, and while the experience wasn't a very pleasant one for the one of the Konti inhabitant's, it had been rewarding for Dlight.

The day he swept onto the Isle from the sky, a Konti had died and her corpse mutilated, hair and scales harvested for his bonecrafting. In his defense, Dlight did spare anyone searching for her a gruesome sight by throwing her body into the deep waters surrounding the Isle, far off the coast. Upon recalling the past-life memory, Dlight's black eyes looked to Aeli's beautifully white, flowing hair and the scales that shimmered violet along her neck.

No, this one was not only a violinist, but a wise, bright girl that he'd already started to become fond of. The darkness that fluttered beneath his eyes seemed to brighten, thoughts of violence gone in an instant. "
I've only heard rumors of the White Isle." It was said in a tone that wasn't entirely convincing, however the Zith didn't plan on mentioning he'd visited before lest the Konti ask for details.

Bathing in the Streets [Aeli]

OOCI want to apologize for not responding in so long. I got a second job for a bit and I just didn't have time to breathe, but I'm no longer working there, so I won't disappear again. =]
Eyes brightening at Dlight's mention of the night sky, Aeli found herself looking upward toward the rising sun. It was warming slightly, a fine, nearly imperceptible mist forming up around them and causing the air to dampen. "I love the sky as well. I learned a bit about astronomy during my time at home, and found it to be quite intriguing."

Her senses were not keen enough to actively pick up on the few seconds of malice that Dlight felt when he thought of the Isle. She felt a strange, subtle wave in the air, but dismissed it immediately. The combination of her loneliness and her intrigue for the Zith's personality had worked to disarm her; although intelligent, the Konti was a bit naive. Her elders speculated that perhaps that was what kept her so happy all of the time.

Aeli's subconscious also chose to ignore the artificial feel of Dlight's last comment. "Yes, I have come straight from the White Isle. I heard rumors of this city and wished to visit it. It is a much-welcome break from home." She smiled, turning slightly to return her violin to its case in her saddlebags lest it get destroyed from water or worse. It was the only thing she brought to remind her of home, and only because she adored playing it so.

"Mura is nice. It is beautiful, if you like pale things. It is intriguing, if you like water and architecture," she continued on, patting Ole on the sholder as he shifted. "However, I suppose I cannot properly appreciate its nuances, since it is the only place I have been. Is it like this for your home as well?"

A troubled smile crossed Dlight's face at the Konti's question, conflicting thoughts coming to mind. Did he respond about his home as a Zith, or the home from which he fell? "I ache for my home, but my destination is Lhavit. It's the closest I can get to the sky and the stars, and the night is what I love most." He was surprised to find out that Aeli hadn't taken notice nor brought attention to his earlier, violent thoughts, but was grateful. He did not want to scare her away, not even if her horse had a bit of a bad attitude.

"I'm no expert at astronomy, as I know only Leth and Syna. Perhaps we can learn together, some day?" He asked tentatively, hinting at his desire to make this meeting more than just a brief passing of conversation. Seldom did Dlight find someone that entertained him, and during his time in Alvadas, the Zith realized he was very lonely. "Perhaps Oledrennis also enjoys the night sky, eh?" With that, Dlight looked to the moody Gilding, cracking a teasing smile at it.

Bathing in the Streets [Aeli]

Aeli's scales glittered in the sunlight, the colors dancing around in swirling violet patterns. Her smile grew wider at Dlight's suggestion to learn astronomy together; she loved to learn, but even more so with an interesting stranger. That, combined with the Zith's love of her favorite instrument and their mutual aversion to crowds, made her feel as though the city had brought her to quite a fitting traveling companion. Staying with him would also give her some more insight into the male perspective of things, something that she had always been insatiably curious about.

"I would adore learning with you, Dlight," Aeli told him eagerly, running the fabric of her odd, colorful dress between her fingers. Oledrennis, who had been distracted by birds playing in the water nearby, snorted as he heard his name. He eyed Dlight suspiciously, expelling a low whinny and shaking his head as he did so. Ordinarily he would be protesting more to this meeting, as he was already irritable, but he hadn't seen Aeli so happy in quite some time and did not wish to be scolded further.

"I believe that Oledrennis enjoys the night for the simple fact that he may watch himself glow and feel important," Aeli told Dlight with a laugh, scratching Ole's neck affectionately. "However, the poor beast must be hungry by now. I have dragged him all over the city for hours, it is surprising that he hasn't just taken off by now to find his own hay." She thought for a minute, stroking the horse's cream-colored mane. It was tangled and in need of cleaning.

"Perhaps you could show us where you're currently lodging? I would like to stay here in Alvadas for a bit. On the way you could tell me more about Lhavit," she suggested with a smile. Although curious about the Zith, she sensed that he did not want to talk about the past, and she was perfectly fine with that. She had never seen such a different-looking being before, and was eager to learn more about him.

"Of course," Dlight replied, delighted that they would be meeting once again. Perhaps he had finally found someone that he could call a companion, however this thought was pushed to the side, the Zith not wanting to get his hopes up too quickly. He'd encountered multiple violinists already, but hadn't met them more than once, nor befriended them.

Aeli enjoyed the night, though, and even her Gilding basked in the moonlight, although surely Oledrennis' motivations were self-centered. He gave a quick grin at that, finding the horse amusing in his own way.
"Yes," Dlight agreed to the woman's suggestion, "follow me, I'll show you where I'm staying."

The trail of suds were long washed away, but in jest the Zith commented, "Perhaps we'll find my soap along the way."

Alvadas didn't have a set layout of roads for him to follow, so after waiting for Aeli to follow him, he began walking away from the direction that the Konti came. "The city's roads move," He explained in case she hadn't noticed, "so I don't know how long it will take to find the Wolf's Cave." A brief smile passed, "All the more time to tell you of Lhavit, though, right?"
