Stitch was oddly quiet for the whole walk. He just kept a small smile on his face, and nodded politely, responding to each and every one of Senari's sentences. Only when Senari mentioned giving up did Stitch finally shake his head no, his grin growing a little bit. Even if Senari was getting into a bit of a scary mode, Stitch was okay with his teasing. It was kind of fun, and made him feel like he was bonding. It wasn't often the blind man got to bond with other males. Usually it was women and children. This male was particularly interesting. Stitch didn't have to really put forth a conscious effort to read Senari's Aura to sense the beastial radiance that was emitting from it. This Kelvic was truly more animal than human. Stitch would have to be careful during the fight. If the man's animal form was anything like the massive bears he had spotted all over town... Almost cluelessly, Stitch plodded after Senari as the man crossed over to the far side of the arena. The whole time, Stitch glanced about, sizing the area up as if planning out some sort of strategy. When they finally reached Senari's starting point, Stitch paused, glancing at Senari, then glancing over to the other end of the arena. The poor blind man didn't appear to understand how things were going to work. He was supposed to have gone over to the other side. A few more glances back and forth, and it slowly began to dawn on the blind man. He was standing like a simpleton right near Senari, when he was supposed to be taking up a position elsewhere. He tilted his head to the side, and lifted a hand to rub his head, a confused look crossing his face. Was the blind man really this dumb? Apparently he had never sparred in an arena like this before. He seemed rather clueless. Or was he? It all happened in a flash. Stitch spit out, and a sinister plot was revealed. He had never actually swallowed that last big mouthful of soup. The warm liquid sprayed into the air like a mist, aimed right at Senari's blazing eyes, leaving his question un-answered. Stitch didn't wait to see how the man responded. He dropped low and stepped forward, a grin blazing bright, and fired forth the hardest punch he could manage. The step forward was to hopefully negate any distance Senari might try to put between them... and the punch was to take him out. He had already willed some Djed from his soul in order to power his Auristics to the point where he could intimately study the two bond-mates... that had been earlier. Now, he used the Flux to manipulate that extra Djed spinning within his body, chugging a small amount from both his Auristics and his normal Djed pool to quickly power his arm muscles. The arm bulged with power, and Stitch fired it out, as hard as he could. It was a punch with the middle knuckle pointed, a punch aimed at the ribcage of the Kelvic. It would be a precise blow, aimed under and to the front of the ninth and tenth ribs, with a slight tilt upwards, as if really aiming deeper, toward the shoulder blade and spinal cord. Stitch put all the speed he could into the blow. He twisted at the waist to throw momentum forward, shouted out to loosen his muscles, and twisted at the shoulder to spin the punch a bit. If Senari had earlier became suspicious about why Stitch had followed him over to his end of the arena (though Stitch was praying his naive act had fooled the man), Stitch would simply act out his surprise attack earlier. He had to give this all he had. The blind man was hoping his speed and knowledge of vital striking points would put the man off. He needed to start strong. He knew his opponent was good. Better than him, probably. |
