Vizyous was silent while he considered her words, stunned into surprise just the slightest. It had been a while since a woman recognized his danger yet still showed interest, and Vhanet's sort of interest didn't seem stop at the friend boundary. "I have a proposition," the Symenestra finally said, turning to face her fully, "but it will require your trust."
What he was about to propose would make or break whether or not Vhanet would fear the Symenestra race any longer, and Vizyous didn't think she would accept his offer but decided to ask anyways. Secretly, a little rush of adrenaline came from seeing her fear. "A bite doesn't only kill. At first, it relaxes the victims body, sending them into a state of pleasurable bliss." It was an exaggeration, but even if the woman saw through his white lie, she would clearly hear what was alluding to. "My bite will only last but a moment so that the relaxing agent can release, but I can't promise it won't burn just a bit."
Carefully, Vizyous continued, a mischievous smile lighting his previously serious face, "...And I do not eat those I don't fully trust, as lies taste horrible going down." Distrust truly didn't have a taste, but it was the Symenestra's strange sense of humor that caused him say this, followed by a snicker.
OOCAt the most, just a bit of the venom would get in and eat away at the skin where his fangs pierce, causing something like a burn, but Vizyous will do his best to keep the pain to a minimum. Here's the info I got from the creator of Symenestra's.
The Sym doesn't know when the second phase of the poison is going to start. Part 1 is the mild neurotoxin (I say mild because a full fledged one would shut down organs), part 2 is the digestive enzyme. It's all triggered by the pressure of the bite and the extension of the hollow fangs. If the Sym is fast enough maybe he can stop at step 1, but it would be chancy business and it would be hard for at least some of the enzyme to not make it through. Also, a neurotoxin would do a little damage around the wound as well.
The best chance for a Sym to have a mild bite is to eat frequently.
