Kit's cottage is humble, made for sleeping but not for living. It could be more accurately termed a room, because she comes in only when she has need to, to change and to sleep and to rest, and those times are relatively few, all considered.
It was an old place before Kit owned it; it was always small, and in her care its furnishings are spartan. The hearth has been left blackened by repeated use, and usually stays unlit except in the coolest of winters. There is a small chair and table by the door, for eating and managing whatever trinkets Kit happens across and deems not important enough to store in her chest.
