"I never said I would take it from you," the woman said with a sweet little smile, "I'm sure you could keep it from me. I just would've peeked at it once you weren't around. As for how I know you and your dealings with Jaelyn, I don't see why that couldn't be part of our bargain."

As Jokor focused his Auristic vision on the woman once more he again got the feeling of her aura being light and playful with something running underneath. Straining to get more information he felt his eyes start to sting and burn, but he finally managed to draw out the undercurrent and put a feeling to it, curiosity.

"So what else can I offer you for a peek at the book, hm?" the woman smiled as she sauntered around Jokor slowly, "What kinds of things do you desire? Money of course, of which I can provide some, or maybe some information in addition to how I know about you?" she reached out a hand a trailed a finger lightly along his shoulder, and her voice dropping down into her sultry tones again, "Or maybe you'd like something a bit more... physical?"

Special Delivery (Jokor)

As soon as he managed to stick a name to the strange undercurrent of emotion he quickly redrew his djed from his eyes, the stinging sensation warning that something was probably going wrong and the last thing that he wanted was that he screwed over his eyes with that magic stuff, though he could at least thank kelwyn and yshul that he didn't get a headache as bad as last time.

Trying to ignore his stinging eyes he turned back his attention back towards the stranger. A bit baffled that she agreed so easily to share how he got her information, besides he already wanted to take a peek so why not let the woman know the title if she came with an offer good enough? He was already struggling to let his ends meet even with his job, he took a quick glance to the sky, and he still had plenty of time to get that book to the priest.
Jokor just took a step back from the woman as she reached out for him, to unknowing about what she was trying to do to even notice it.

“Why don't you first explain how you got all that information on me and jaelyn before I decide what else you gotta offer before I let you take a peek.” He paused for a second. “And why don't you tell me why you are so interested in this book at all.” If he let her get a peek at all, if she was a stalker or something of that sort he wasn't going to let her take a look at the book. It wasn't smart to give in to those people.

The woman gave a little laugh, "Well, if you insist, but I'll bet you'll want more after I tell you. As for why I'm interested in the book, I'm curious like you. Why would anyone want to secretly send something like a book to the Temple of All Gods?"

Taking a deep breath the woman stood up tall and straight, as if getting ready to reveal something dramatic, "Now, the reason why I know about you and Jaelyn is because..." she trailed off and hesitated for a few moments, glancing around as if afraid of who would overhear her big secret, "I am... also a Squire like Jaelyn."

At that the woman could not stop herself from bursting out laughing, holding her sides as she shook her head. After a few moments she calmed down and grinned at Jokor, "It's as simple as that. I live in the dorms with her, and not only has she talked about you some, but there have been plenty of rumors going around too," still grinning widely she held out her hand, "Now, is that good enough or do you need something more?"

Jokor couldn't help but to agree with the girl in front of him, it was strange that they made such a secret about sending a book towards the temple of all gods, it didn't make any sense why would they even use a simple messenger as him, that they didn't even know that he would peek in the book either way, to send something that should be a secret?

Not being impressed by the dramatic show, though he was a bit disappointed at the rather anticlimactic admission that she was a squire, if she wasn't lying about that, though he was rather curious what kind of rumors would be doing the rounds that would have him in it. He didn't need the attention damn it! Besides even if she knew his name with the rumors, how did she pick him out of the crowd so easily? Did they forced a description of him out of jaelyn or something? He shook his head, it didn't matter now, he just had to reconfirm his suspicions about her later and then track her down again. If he could.

“Yeah actually I do have a few other ones, as in what the heck are those rumors saying so that you could recognize me and how the petch did ya just get so fast here from there, and don't try to hold me for a fool that wasn't just a fancy piece of sneaking, the people living here couldn't even sneak past a blind man if their lives depended on it that and I know that was a kind of magic.” Jokor was half tempted to try to see in her aura again if she was going to lie, but decided against it, his eyes where still tearing up from his last overuse.

The woman gave a laugh and a shake of her head that caused her blond hair to dance about, "Told you you'd want more," she gave a sly smile to Jokor, "The rumors were about how you were working at the Welcome Center, and there was only one short, scrawny, and slightly dirty boy working there."

Taking a few strutting steps to Jokor's side the woman gave him a wink and a back and forth waggle of one of her fingers, "How I moved, Jokor, is far too valuable of a secret for me to share it just for a peek at a book," she gave a soft chuckle, "I told you that I don't need you to have a look, I just thought you'd like in on finding out. From everything Jaelyn has said about you I figured the two of us could get along."

The woman leaned forward, placing her hands on her knees so her exposed breasts were even with Jokor's eye level once more, giving her shoulders a little shimmy so they swayed slightly. Her voice dropped down to a soft whisper that barely reached Jokor's ears, "Maybe even be more than friends..."

Jokor just let out a shrug when she won her bet, giving her a wiry grin
"Well you where the one that said curiousness wasn't a crime. So sue me for wanting to know more." When she called him a short scrawny and slightly dirty boy he gave her a pointed glare.

"Just watch out who you are calling scrawny, or I might have ta show ya what this scrawny boy can do to ya if ya piss him off." Jokor muttered under his breath taking the book out from under his arm. More giving in to his own curiosity then to anything else, besides he still had more then enough time and could get that book packaged good enough to pass an inspection. Besides wasn't it their own fault to give a 'sensitive' package to somebody that they have no guarantee that he wouldn't peek into.

When she didn't want to give up her secret of moving so fast though jokor just gavve her another grin.
"Then I'll find it out myself." Jokor replied simply looking back towards the book in his hands, a red blush on his face. while making a mental note to go over all the know magic types to see if with what that movement through the shadows could have been done.
"Now then, just a quick peek and if you wanna read just read over my shoulder or something, I don't trust you enough not to leg it as soon as you get your hands on the book anyway and I still gotta get the book to that priest before the end of the day."
Jokor carefully took of the rest of the package's wrappings, hanging it over his shoulder to make sure there wasn't any dirt on it and took a good look at the cover of the book before opening it towards the index. keeping a firm grip on the book and half an eye on the blonde woman so that she wouldn't try to snatch it.

The woman grinned and gave a small shake of her head at Jokor's glare, "It wasn't me that was calling you that Jokor, I just was telling you what the rumors said, like you wanted."

"I'll look forward to you trying," the woman said with a little giggle at Jokor's simple statement, and then at his offer to read over his shoulder she smiled and moved around behind him with a faintly sultry, "Don't mind if I do."

Removing the rest of the packaging on the book revealed the full tittle, "A Dissertation on the Existence of Ionu," and flipping to the index revealed a list of what appeared to be several discussions regarding the nature of Ionu's existence. In between the two pages of the index was a small piece of paper on which a note was neatly written:

Morian, I really enjoyed Evard Kinsinger's thoughts regarding Ionu. Thank you for letting me borrow this.

As Jokor read over the note he felt something soft and slightly curved pressing lightly against his shoulders. A bit of thought or looking over his shoulder would quickly reveal that the blond haired woman had stepped close as she read over his shoulder, causing the very feminine curve of her bosom to press against his shoulders.

Jokor made a mental note to find out who was spreading those rumors and if he couldn't manage to get them to stop spreading those, he could ask it once to stop and if that didn't help, which it probably wouldn't, he would just have to find something to let them shut up. Maybe it was time he rooted around for some blackmail after he got back.
Giving the woman a roll of his eyes when she doubted he would figure out her secret, it was quite obvious what the woman did, now he just had to find out what can cause the effect she used and that shouldn't be to hard.... right?

Focusing on the book took a look over the index page wondering who that ionu guy was, most likely he, or she, was a god of some kind if the people where writing papers about it, the fact that the word god popped up a few times in the titles of the discussions that where written in the index was also a good clue. When he turned the page he noticed a small scrap of paper with something written on it, carefully taking it from in between the pages as he gave it a look over, quickly paging through the others to see if nothing was hidden there to.
The fact that it was only a borrowed book about the existence about one god only gave him more questions, was there some code hidden in there or something? It was only a book that you could probably get in the shop in syliras if you where willing to pay some coin so why being so secretive about it? The thought of using his magic to take a look at its aura to see if something else was up crossed his mind, objects did have aura's so he might find out something.

Before he could actually go through with it he felt something soft and curvy pressed against his shoulders, looking over his shoulder to see what exactly the woman was trying to pull now. Though when he quickly put his focus back somewhere else when he glanced right into the woman's bosom that she was pushing into his shoulders, his face burning red. Giving a quick glance towards the sky to see how much time he still had left before he put the note back into its place closed the book and began wrapping it again exactly as before.
“I still gotta bring this book to that morian guy before the end of the day so the peek ends here.”
He managed to stammer out, his face still a bright red as he shoved the book back underneath his arm, hoping that that church wasn't really that secure so that he could get in there and take a longer peek later. The fact that he still thought there where secrets hidden in the book was really doing a number on his willpower. That and he wanted to take a look at the thing when there wasn't a woman hellbent on distracting him with everything he did.

At first Jokor didn't notice anything else outside of the ordinary with the book, and his quick flip through didn't really reveal much either. There was a brief glimpse of something red that might have been out of place, but the woman's distraction seemed to have worked as Jokor began wrapping the book up and putting it away.

"Fair enough," the woman said with a grin as she leaned forward, pressing her breasts a little more firmly against Jokor's shoulders as she whispered into his ear, "I got what I came here for," after a moment the woman finally pulled away from Jokor, and she gave a little chuckle and wink to him, "It was nice to meet you Jokor, I can't wait until we meet again."

With that the woman turned and sauntered off, the shadows seeming to swallow her up as she walked into them. The sky up above showed Syna just about to vanish, meaning Jokor had precious little time to get the package to the Temple on time. With the book wrapped up again Jokor wouldn't be able to sneak a peek at whatever that red thing had been and get it delivered on time.

Jokor just tried to press the blush back down as the woman leaned even closer to him, pressing her ample bosom even more into his back, though he still got a small frown on his face when she told him that she got what she came for, now his curiosity really began kicking him for already closing the book and not checking out that red thing first. Syna was already dipping down below the horizon and not leaving enough time for him to unpack and take another look at it before the day was over and he was to late with his delivery, something he would probably get a lot of flak for. So just giving a nod towards the woman making a mental note to meet her again and try to wring some more information out of her he took of towards the building as fast as he could. Hoping that he still got there in time.
