[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Ageru laughed a little when the man outright denied him the knowledge that he so sought. Things like this was so... interesting, and he wasn't going to let it drop just like that. He wanted to see this one through, and, well, also to satisfy himself. He shifted a little as he continued to smile at him nodding at the question that was meant to change the subject, "Sadly," he paused, "I'm new here as well and, well," he laughed, "I won't be the best help in this place." he glanced around the place before centering this attention back to the man, and back to what he really wanted to know.

The cat jumped up, sitting on the edge of the well and leaned against one of the wooden poles. It wasn't like the city, or meeting a ghost wasn't interesting, it was just this could be more embarrassing and a much more pressing matter for Ken. "Well," he grinned, "If you don't know your way around the city why don't you ask someone to show you around?" He might have to be a little more subtle about trying to get answers out of him, but he was never good at being such, especially when the gnosis has been activated. It would take a lot of strength to resist the cause, and it did for him, but unfortunately for Ken this request seemed almost too good to want to fight. Helping people was what he liked.

"I'm sure that you have someone in mind that you would like to spend time with." He smiled a kind smile showing off his teeth, "Someone that you would like to get to know better; a person who wouldn't mind at all showing you around a great place like this." He sighed, "I know we just met, but what harm could it be to tell a person about someone you like? I bet you will feel a ton better getting something that that off your chest" he pointed at him playfully before resting the hand on the pole. Or better yet, he could just outright tell the person he liked him. It was childish to hold it in, and asking isn't hard at all, but not many people can be as up front as this cat was.

He kept eye contact with him, trying to see what he was going to do, or what he was going to say. The eyes after all are the window to the soul. His gaze never faltered as he waited for a reply.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on April 21st, 2011, 1:44 am

An unpleasent feeling washed over Kendall when he watched the feline man jump up and sit on the well like it was some sort of bench. Kendall's features turned a bit dark as he looked at the man. He seemed to be amost teasing him with his eyes. "You know, that well is not a seat. It is a memorial. You should not sit on it. One could take that as showing disrespect." He was not angry at Ageru. More so he was simply annoyed. It was not just because Ageru was sitting on the edge of Kova's Well. It was the way he spoke to Kendall. Almost like he was playing with him.

There was someone Kendall wanted to spend time with. More than anything else in the world, or so it felt like at times. He did not want to tell Ageru about Hadrian but he could not help the nagging feeling that he could trust the strange man. His mismatched eyes darted from side to side, quickly looking to see if anyone else was listening in. He knew that there was not a single person in the city he had to worry about hearing what he had to say except Hadrian himself but he could not help worrying. "You seem to be hinting at something Ageru." Kendall knew for sure Ageru was hinting at something. A specific something, Hadrian.

Ageru's gaze was making Kendall uncomfortable. He knew! How could he know? Kendall had not said anything. He looked at the man with a worried glance an started to speak in a hushed tone. "How do you know about him?" He did not release Hadrian's name yet. Not until he knew what Ageru was up to.
"I'm burning and I'm blacking my lungs.
Boy you know it feels good with fire back on your tongue."

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Ageru on April 22nd, 2011, 5:40 pm

Ageru frowned as he noticed that he could be potentially causing trouble by sitting on the well. It was comfy enough, and it was a habit of his to climb things and just sit in random places, but he didn't want to disrespect; so he got off. With a sigh he looked at him as he once again stood, he just didn't want to lose the respect of the man, "Sorry." he told him crossing his arms a bit as he waited for the more interesting things to happen. He wondered what was going on inside Kens head.

All the cat did when Ken pointed out that he seemed to be hinting at something was nod. He indeed was, and that brought a cheesy smile to his face. Though he beat his impulse to speak, he wanted to wait for an answer before he would say much of anything. He wasn't good at being subtle even when he was trying, though he could sure hint at things well enough. Subtle just wasn't a word to describe him in a social situation. If he wanted an answer he would ask, and work to get it. There would hardly be any dancing around a subject.

A laugh would come from him as Ken asked how he knew. The cats reply was a sly look, complete with a Cheshire grin and a shrug, "Its a gift." he said as if being touched by that goddess was nothing, but even though he played it off it was something that brought him much joy in life. Though thoughts did creep up every now and then what people would think, or worse do to him if they knew once more that he was a Ranuri. He would rather keep that information to himself, but if the other must know then he would tell him... that is in exchange for that secret that he has been keeping. He wanted to know all about the guy that Ken admired.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Kendall nodded slightly at Ageru. At least the man listened. "Thank you. Sorry if I was a little harsh." Although Kendall found himself a little protective of the wall, for multiple reasons, he could not find himself able to stay mad at Ageru. Maybe it was his feline nature that was shining through. There was just something about cats that made them impossible to stay mad at.

The feline man made Kendall nervous. He knew something and that was dangerous, at least in Kendall's mind. How did he know it? It had to be more than a lucky guess. The fact the man could just guess that Kendall had fallen for a man was a little too perfect of a guess for a random stranger. "You are quite nonchalant about this aren't you?" Kendall was trying to comfort himself in saying those words. If Ageru was so calm and collected why couldn't he be?

Kendall bit his lip and looked down at the ground. "His name is..." He felt like the name was stick on his tounge. He didn't want to share it but he felt this overwhelming feeling of trust from the man. "Hadrian. His name is Hadrian." Kendall's face flushed a bright red after his name was released. He felt like everyone in Syliras had heard his words. They had to be judging him. No one seemed to be turning and looking though. "I don't know what else to say about him." What would Kendall say? Hadrian's eyes were as blue as the ocean? His voice made his heart race? He couldn't. "I met him for the first time here at this well. We had seen a little of each other in previous years but we never talked." Kendall felt his heart racing. Ageru was getting to know everything. It was so incomfortable.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Ageru on May 7th, 2011, 4:02 am

The cat shifted uncomfortably as he could feel what felt like judgment being passed on him as Ken said Thank you. He would be sure to not sit on the well again, well at least not when Ken is around. He smiled to himself, ”Its fine.” he directed the smile towards him, ”It wasn’t harsh. It was your wish, and that is, well, my command” which was more than true. He was a slave to the wishes of others, and sometimes he minded, but this one seemed alright and so he didn’t mind so much.

He swayed a little on his feet and almost laughed when the guy pointed out how laid back he was about all of this, ”I guess you can say that.” he answered with a shrug. ”Its just when youre so used to something happening it sort of becomes a habit, and I forget sometimes that people don’t know that Im marked.” he laughed some. There was always that, and the constant worry that he would make a ‘bad’ decision driven on by the mark, like kill someone. Thankfully that hasn’t happened, but still there are possibilities, and they are just as endless as the stars in the sky. Then again, what is good or bad to a person who gains pleasure from doing service to others? Good and bad are just concepts, and ones overridden, along with other morals and the word ‘no’, when the mark is active. There is just no such thing, and that is one of the scary things about this mark, but the scariest part about it is the pleasure he gets from it and the urge to just touch everyone. He usually has good self-control over it, but lately it has been tempting and like hell not to use it at least once a day. He is slowly becoming a slave to others desires and a need to use the mark. He has had it for a while, but it never has been this bad.

Ageru smiled when he heard the name, “Hadrain, uh?” His words would be slanted by a slight purr put them as if he was enjoying himself. The entire thing sounding quite odd, but so natural to him. He purred when he was happy, why couldn’t he try it out in human skin as well? Because he would be no good at it? Maybe that is a reason to stop, but he tempted it. Putting a hand to his chin he thought, ”Well, what does he look like?” he pried even more, ”How good does he make you feel?” he tempted another question, ”And how long have you felt this way about him? Does he know? I think you should tell him.” he grinned as if he already knew the answer to the last question. He shifted a little more and leaned back on well, hands resting on the edge of the well while his body was slightly angled, eyes never moving off Kens. This was going to be fun.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on May 11th, 2011, 12:35 am

The way the cat spoke was strange. Who talked like that? Maybe it was a Syliras thing. People did seem to be quite friendly in the big city. He tried to give the man a smile although it clearly would have looked forced. It was getting harder and harder to fake it these days.

The way the man carried himself bothered Kendall a bit. He seemed to free with the way he was playing with him. Almost as if Kendall's desires were a simple game to him. His eyes widened at the mention of being marked. Which Goddess would have marked this man to make him able to see into people's desires. He felt like he had heard of it before. There must have been chatter about it at the university about it. With that many educated people in one place it would have been surprising if it had not come up. For a moment Kendall almost spoke up about his own mark. He kept quiet though. Just because Ageru was sharing it didn't mean he should. He had never willingly shared his mark with others before. There was not a reason to start now.

Kendall looked down, a bright blush reaching across his cheeks. "Yeah, Hadrian. Beautiful name isn't it?" Just the mention of his name seemed to make his heart pick up pace. He didn't want talk anymore but something about the kelvic made him keep talking. No one else had ever given the chance to talk about his little crush. "He is tall, taller than me. A good… four inches I would say. His skin is very light and soft. He has brown hair and these beautiful blue eyes." Kendall smiled a bit as he described Hadrian only to clap his hand over his mouth in embarrassment of the extent he was explaining the man. That was a very feminine thing to do. Hastily, he moved onto the next question. "He makes me feel… normal. When I am around him I don't feel so strange like I normally do. I feel like I can barely breathe and my heart is trying to beat out of my chest. He makes me very happy." He smiled to himself at the thought. "I am sure it is silly. We have only known each other for a short amount of time. Well... we used to go to the university in Zeltiva together. We never spoke though." Ever since seeing him for the first time all those years ago he had wanted to talk to Hadrian. Even a simple and innocent conversation about history or iambic pentameter would have been nice. "I would imagine he knows. I was an idiot and kissed him. I don't even know why. My emotions have been going mad lately. I can't tell him though. He would never like me like that. We are both male, I don't think he goes that way… you know?"
"I'm burning and I'm blacking my lungs.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Ageru on May 20th, 2011, 7:17 pm

There would be a smirk that would cross his face as he listened on. This was too good, perfect, and in his mind all crushes were cute. Shifting his weight from foot to foot as if he was uncomfortable though it was quite the opposite. He enjoyed talking about this, and not only because it was about the person that Ken desired but because he truly liked this sort of thing, gossip. It was interesting. Almost like a game, but also an addiction. Interesting things drew him in and this was some of the things that he found so.

He chuckled a little as he continued to listen he had to say that the guy was cute when he was blushing, but everything was adorable when it was embarrassed. There was just something about that state that made them stand out. Looking around he nodded in agreement to what was being said. ”You kissed him?” he asked with a grin still on his face before he sighed waiting for an answer. When the sigh would escape him his features would grow serious and his eyes would bore into the mans head as if trying to predict what he was going to do next, but that wasn’t the case. He had to show him that he could be serious on such a serious subject. He didn’t want to victimize this man because he is telling him all of this.

”Kissing him wasn’t stupid if it is really how you feel.” he told him with a soft smile, ”If you really like him then you should tell him.” he nodded at his own words, ”I mean, you did kiss him. That ought have made him think about things a little, don’t you think?” he asked not feeling worthy of the words that were coming out of his mouth. Having never been in a relationship before or even close to one he was going on what felt right, instinct. Though he thought about the last part, they were both male, but so what? Growing silent he thought about that problem. Personally because he is so reckless he would outright tell the guy he liked that he liked him. Though it seemed like he needed more information on the kind of relationship they had before. Things are so complicated when you only get one side of the story, and not even the full story at that.

”If he really makes you feel that good, if he makes you feel normal,” he smiled taking a step towards him placing a hand on Kens shoulder and giving him a warming smile, ”then doesn’t he deserve to know how he makes you feel? I think if you told him how he makes you feel then it will make him happy. I know that it makes me happy to see a smile on somebodies face and know that I helped put it there.” Not only that but doing so will break down a wall in the relationship making them trust each other more, if everything goes well that is.

oocSorry for the waay late post. Graduation is in a week and then I will be out of High School for good ^^ Just getting everything around has been... tiring.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on May 21st, 2011, 6:21 pm

Kendall was unsure how he thought about is exchange with Ageru. He seemed to be telling the kelvic a lot more than the kelvic was telling him. While he bore his heart out for the man he simply stood there, shifting on his feet and smiling like this was all just a big game. There had to be something Ageru hid too. He was not too interested in what it was. He could just tell that anyone who was this interested in someone elses secrets had to have some of his own.

A bright red hue colored Kendall's cheeks when Ageru questioned his words. "Yeah... I did." He felt like crying a bit. It was a very strange thing to do. He just remembered everything rushing in him. The male and female mentalities crashing against one another. Everything had been like a blur. He felt bad about it. It really was not his place to kiss the man. If only he had been in his right mind then. Maybe he would have been able to control himself.

Ageru's next statment made a cold chill run down Kendall's spine. What if his kiss had made Hadrian think about things? No, that was impossible. One simple kiss would not have done that. Besides, Hadrian was far too busy with other things to fall for someone, especially him. The man seemed to have things figured out. Kendall on the other hand was a complete mess. He did not feel like he was the sort of person Hadrian would want to fall for. "You never know I suppose." The words were dripping with slight pain. He wanted the man to see him like he saw him but he also did not want the man to be uncomfortable. It would have been one thing if he was still a girl. Then everything would have been better. He would have been beautiful and then maybe Hadrian would have wanted to kiss him back. "I want him to like me but I also don't want to subject him to being seen with me..." He looked down in embarassment. "I am not exactly the most normal person." It hurt that he could not see Hadrian's beautiful eyes looking at him like he looked at him. He was not sure why he felt so strongly for the man. He had been flitting around with romance so much since he had become stuck in his body. It was strange to finally find himself stuck on someone.

Kendall smiled as he thought of Hadrian. "I guess you do have a point. Maybe I will tell him. I know I'll be scared but maybe he will understand." He was a little conflicted as he thought about it. It would most likely turn out to be a terrible idea. Hadrian was not one for displaying grand emotions, or at least he did not seem like it to Kendall. He wanted to try and turn the attention away from him though. "What about you Ageru? What makes you feel good? Other than making people smile that is." He really hoped they could talk about the kelvic for a while. He hated having the spotlight on him.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Ageru on June 4th, 2011, 10:28 pm

Ageru nodded trying to seem understanding when Ken was talking to him, ”You’re not the most normal person?” he asked laughing a bit, ”What is normal?” he asked with a sense of confidence, but he receded into silence when a question was asked to him. There was but a moment of silence where nothing was said and he was just left with his thoughts. The silence was, at least to the cat, uncomfortable. He was not used to having such things asked of him because normally no one would care enough to ask.

Nodding a little he smiled at him again, ”What makes me happy is talking to people.” he nodded, simple and too revealing that answer was perfect. Though what really made him happy now-a-days was using his mark, and seeing how it effects both himself and the person that he was using it on. It was something that he was almost driven to do, something pleasurable, somewhat like a high of sorts, and every time he used it the thing made him feel just as good as the last time. Though perhaps he was being unfair, the other was pouring his heart out to him, telling him about his crush, and whatnot.

Smiling again, it seemed he always was, ”Though what truly makes me happy is just feeling wanted, feeling needed, you know?” he sighed, maybe that is why he loves his mark so, so very much, ”I try my best though it seems that people can never be pleased.” he looked down a frown coming upon him, ”But with this mark.” he smirked, ”I can make people smile, and know what they want. I can be useful, and since I bring them happiness they might want me around.” he hesitated a bit before continuing, ”It is just so hard finding ones place in the world.” his voice kind of shaky before looking up and into the mans multicolored eyes, ”There are so many cats in the world its hard to stand out, and hard to really give someone a real reason for wanting you.” he placed a hand on his arm rubbing it slightly like he was cold.

This was fair. The other now knows something about him that he even has a hard time admitting to himself. Yes, fair is fair and now they were even, at least in the cats mind, ”Now.” he said raising his voice just a little bit, ”You keep that to yourself.” he told him, pointing an already accusing finger at him as if the cat had read his thoughts and saw that he planned to tell someone. He didn’t want everyone to know how lonely he felt in this world full of people.

[Kova's Well] Well, That's a Deep Subject (Ageru)

Postby Kendall Saarinen on June 26th, 2011, 1:52 am

Kendall looked at the kelvic a bit confused. "Well… I don't know how to explain it." How did one explain what a normal person was. "I suppose they are like the majority of the population. They don't deviate from the norm I guess." Kendall knew he was not like other men. He tried to be. Even a bit too hard at times. He just wanted to fit in, to be like everyone else.

A small smile came to the blond's lips when the boy spoke of the things he liked. It all seemed so simple and innocent. In a way, Kendall wished that his own wants and needs were so simple. He had a feeling that if they were he would not bee in such a depressive place mentally. It was calming to hear the kelvic talk though. He seemed to purr through his words like they were simple breezes. "That is really great. It is good to hear that you think like that. A lot of people don't." Since his accident, Kendall had began to see people in a different light. He did not trust them as much as he used to. He felt like he could trust the kelvic despite the fact that he had the gift to uncover his latent desires. "A lot of people just think of themselves." He looked at the kelvic. "I think you are special though. Nikali thinks you special too or she would not have marked you right?" Hadrian had spoken to him like that when he had spoken down about himself.

"I'm sure someone would be happy to have you as a cat… or a friend." He smiled at the kelvic almost sweetly. "I take it you are Kelvic then." He could not say that he was surprised. The man seemed a little too strange to be perfectly human, although Kendall wasn't too normal either. "I think as long as you can keep your lips sealed about people's desires others will enjoy your company a lot." People had a hard time keeping secrets all to themselves. At times it was nice to share them and Ageru made it so easy. "Many people like to keep cats and other animals for the ability to share their secrets with someone who cannot repeat them. You have a human form but still, it does not mean you cannot keep secrets for someone right? It just takes practice." With a shrug he looked around almost as if he was looking to see if anyone was looking. "Besides, not every cat can turn human and talk right? You are already better than them."

"Tell you what Ageru, I won't tell if you don't tell about my little crush." He tried to feign a smile. He was nervous that the cat would tell everyone he knew about Hadrian. He had to learn to trust, some how.
