Physical Description
Conner stands at 5'6" and weighs 125 lbs. which is a little below average for his age. His hair is soft, raven black, complete with a hint of blue hue. He has sharp dark brown eyes that seem to see through people. His skin is lightly tanned, and he tends to wear simple, earth toned clothing.

Character Concept
A person of strong moral character, but Conner doesn't judge others. If he met an assassin, or a baker, he would treat both equally until given a reason not to. To him the bonds of friendship are very important, and if he considers someone a friend, its the same as calling them family.

Conner enjoys meeting new people, and seeing new things. His dream is to discover something previous never seen before.

He hates bell peppers. Conner has no idea why, he loves everything else he has ever tried, but bell peppers are his the bane of his existence.

Character History
Abandoned at a very young age, Conner spent his early years begging for scraps and barely getting by. After spending nearly a 7 months on the streets, Conner's luck seemed to be running out, winter was fast approaching, and he was so skinny, one might take him for a walking skeleton, rather than a little boy. His stomach on empty, he collapsed in an alley way and waited to die. As he lay at death's door a man found him, he was large, burley, and wore wolf skin clothing.

The man took pity on Conner, fed him, and brought him back to his cave outside of the city. The man was a fur trapper by trade. Selling his pelts to shops to turn into beautiful and warm clothing. He never told the boy his name, instead he instructed Conner to call him "Hound" and then he told him that he was free to live in the cave, and eat with him, so long as he made himself useful.

Conner agreed quickly, and found himself tasked with various chores once his strength had returned. As the man went out to hunt, Conner would chop firewood, prepare hot soup for Hound's return, and tidy up to the best of his ability. It wasn't much, but it was all an eight year old could really do.

Hound seemed pleased by the efforts of Conner, as he had no complaints for the boy when he returned. In fact, he had very little to say. That's how it went for the next two years. Hound would leave early in the morning to go hunt, or take is furs to market, and Conner cooked, cleaned, and maintained the cave and learned other skills. When the man fixed his bow and made new arrows, Conner would watch in silence, then copy him while Hound was away. The same went for other skills, like skinning the furs, and smoking the meats.

On Conner's 10th birthday, he awoke to find a professionally made bow and quiver at his feet, and when Hound left to hunt, he motioned for the boy to follow. Over the next year, Hound taught him how to hunt, to track prey, and how to fire a bow, as well as how to make basic healing remedies from wild plants. Though the two rarely exchanged more than two words, an unspoken bound grew between them.

It all changed on Conner's 12th birthday. By then Conner had begun to hunt on his own, to try and pay his own way instead of always leeching off of Hound. But to the poor boy's dismay, he returned one night to find a blood trail leading to the cave. He found Hound lying wounded in the cave, his stomach tore open. A bear had taken him by surprise, and despite Hound killing it, the bear had left it's mark. Before Conner could return with a Healer from town, Hound had bled out.

The closest thing to a real father he ever knew had just died. Conner couldn't stand living in the cave any longer. He gathered what he needed and sold the rest. Among the things he kept was Hound's hunting and skinning knife. Hound had taught him to survive, and that was what Conner was going to do, survive.
