50th of Spring AV 511 Gwen had called an official meeting of the Sunberth Vigilante's Guild. Without an official residence, they usually met in an upper room of one of the local taverns which they would rent for the duration of their meetings. Up until this point, the guild had done little to actually change anything in Sunberth, but all that was about to change. This would be their first open confrontation with any of Sunberth's gangs, and it needed to be well planned. They had received word from one of the local inns that one of the smaller gangs had been threatening them in for repayment of a loan. The inn keeper obviously didn't have the kind of money they were asking for, and they had given him a deadline of dusk on the fiftieth. Seeing as that was only a few hours away, Gwen and the rest of the guild would have to quick in their decision on whether or not to act. To Gwen, the decision was obvious. This was exactly why he had founded the guild, but since this was the largest battle they had would be involved in to date, he figured it was best to consult the rest of the members. Arriving first, Gwen headed directly to the upstairs room. Once he was there, he pulled the two tables in the room together and surrounded them with chairs. Just as the first members were arriving, he was taking his seat. Gwen greeted them with a simple smile and nod, waiting for everyone to arrive before explaining why he had called them all here today. |
