Ever offered him a warm smile, not sensing any foul intentions from the man, and sat down on the bed next to him. She was a bit shocked at how soft the bed was. This place sure knew how to treat it's customers. She looked out across the room, scanning the walls and art that lined them. "And you I hunger for all of that?" It was a question she herself already knew the answer he would provide. She did give off the whore-ish vibe, didn't she?

Her eyes left the wall to look onto the face of the man, showing no sign of hesitiation or fear. She was simply doing what was needed to be done for her to survive. Only cowards live off of fear. "I do hunger for food and work, and I would be lying if I said that I wasn't curious. Sex however, is not a neccessity. It can wait, unless it is what I need to do." She spoke in a way that showed that she had expirience in perservering through life. "I am lookig for a way to make ends meat, sir. Do you think you could help me?"

OOCI forget to mention this last post, but you need a timestamp on your first post in this thread for a time reference.

Tyras grinned, even chuckled slightly when she misunderstood him. "Forgive me, I did not mean you specifically, but the hungers of people as a whole. I am not certain of you, but I am curious, hungry to understand perhaps." Tyras, seeing as Ever didn't drink the wine offered to her, reclaimed the glass and sipped from it leisurely. "Everyone tastes their share of hunger, as well as food that sates it. You want to work, but are you certain you know what work is done here?" Tyras often met girls that came here expecting one thing, and were devastated to learn that others expected something very different.

"The Golden Dragon is a successful business, and I am always willing to give anyone a chance, even two if I feel they deserve it." Tyras nodded sagely as he lifted the glass to sip from again, then offering it once more to Ever. "We are here to please our customers. With wine, with conversation, good food and beautiful woman and men to watch, but there's more than this involved here." Tyras turned his head so that he was looking directly at Ever, and refused to speak until she was staring right back into his eyes. "You are beautiful, men will expecting you to help feed their hungers. Food, drink, curiosity, but many will want your body. They will want to treat you like a lover for a night, and pretend you never existed." Tyras almost looked pained to say that, but it was true. "I care about all my girls like daughters. I would accept death to save any of them. If you want to work here, you will be expected to please costumers, prepare food on occasion, supply wine. If you can do this..." Tyras reached into his pocket, pulling out a strange golden armband that looked like a snake with a head at either side of the body wrapping around the bicep. "then you can work here, and this is yours."
Bad News Everybody. School is picking up, Exams are beginning to happen, homework is growing time consuming, I may soon be evicted from my apartment, I'm dealing with severe and physical fights among several of my best friends, and I can't seem to find a time to get much needed sleep. I'm terribly sorry, but don't expect to see much of me for a long while.

Ever examined the golden bracelet, for a long time. Taking in it's worth. It's meaning. She was sure of what she was doing. She knew there would be downfalls to the job, but the pay, she was sure, was worth it. She smiled, very kindly at the man, "I did not come here without the full knowledge of what I may be intented to do. I can do your work, sir, for as long as neccessary." She reached a hand up, and burshed a wave of red hair behind her ear so when she looked at the man it wasn't blocking her vision.

It was a comfort to know how loyal Tyras was to his employees. That would be some sort of solace when she felt threatened, or if depression from the work kicks in. She was ready for anything, but it felt better to know she had someone standing behind her too. "It's good to know you care so much," She was being straight forward honest with him, "and I will do everything in my power to keep your business labeled as the best around, and successful. That is," She offered out her black laced wrist, "If you would have me."

Tyras smiled as Ever took his armband. She would do well here, she would be taken care of, and she already possessed everything the job demanded. He just hoped she could handle it. He saw many young girls break into tears once they went further than they originally imagined or wanted.

He stood up, ignoring Ever's outstretched hand and, instead, took her cheek in his hands and planted a kiss on her forehead. "I would be happy to have you working here with the girls and I. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be perfect for us, and we will be perfect for you." Tyras offered a wink then left the room, leaving Ever alone to contemplate her decision or just bask in her feelings if she needed to.

OOCI'll PM Dusk about Ever getting a Job at the Golden Dragon. She'll decide Ever's salary, since it could fall into a few different categories.

To earn your seasonal salary, you'll need to do several threads about working at the Golden Dragon. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I'll try to clear it up.

[Syliras Location] The Golden Dragon

Postby Asara Willow on June 7th, 2011, 3:43 am

Summer 4th, AV 511, Late Evening

Entering the establishment, the cloaked and hidden Symenestra looked around to see how busy it was here, her pale gold eyes flashing in the darkness of her hood. Asara was tired of living off wild rodents and dried fruit. As complex as they were, she found them hard to exist off of. It took hours, hours, to properly break down a rodent's internal organs enough to digest.

She needed fresh fruit, something soft and easy to digest, and a place to work.

Her quick glance did not improve Asara's mood. She saw that she had stumbled into a very busy building, a place that made her wrinkle her nose in distaste. So many Humans in one place frightened her, scared her. But, if it meant pay, she'd take a job here any day.

Stepping forward, she heard Zafkil winny beyond the now closed door, the horse waiting as his owner sought a nice stable for at least the evening while they were in Syliras. He was content to rest on the ground in the forest, but it was night now and Asara had no desire to be killed in the forest while finding a safe place to set up her tent.

Asara sought out the owner, gingerly making her way through the crowd. She was afraid someone would bump into her, hard enough to fracture or even break her brittle bones, and she didn't trust anyone here enough to heal her.

Standing at a vacant spot at a table, the small female sat down, elegantly folding her cloak under her . She lifted her gaze off the wood table to scan the crowd, looking for any visible employees here, and finding that quite a few women, and even men, where frolicking like... Prostitutes.

She was glad, at that point, that the noise was so great she couldn't hear the snide voice comment on the appearance of the Humans present.

Now all she had to do was find someone who could give her a suitable job.
Let us die together, you and I.

"Well hello there, Mysterious Madam," a smooth baritone voice to Asara's right cut through the noise of the Golden Dragon's dinning area, "Might I know, if I am allowed to be graced by your voice, what brings you to our fine establishment this evening?"

The man that stood next to Asara was at least a foot taller than her, if not a little more, and his charming smile seemed to fit perfectly with his round and subtle features, brilliant violet eyes, and black, straight, hair that seemed to hold a faint violet highlight to it as it fell about his shoulders. His skin was a warm golden brown, and there was plenty of it to see illuminated in the firelight as he wore a golden bracelet on his right wrist and a waistband that draped a bit of crimson cloth over front and back that covered little more than decency required. His body itself was lean with faint outlines of muscles visible on arms and legs, and not a hint of hair visible anywhere beyond his head.

Giving a smooth bow at the waist, dropping his head below Asara's shoulders, he spoke again in his soothing tones, "Forgive me, I was remiss in introducing myself. I am Pladryi, and it would be to my great pleasure to help you find whatever you may wish for this fine evening."

Asara found herself charmed by the smooth voice against her will. She had not heard such a deep sound before, and her head turned to look.

If Asara had any notion of public decency, she would have found the sight of the man's bare chest, legs, and arms embarrassing. A blush would have coloured her cheeks, but she was unbothered by any notion of nudity. She would remember the name and match it to the face.

"Nice to meet you, Pladryi..." She said softly. "My name is Asara. And... You can help me if you are an employee here."

A smile coloured her tone and she turned to face this smiling man, feeling somewhat comfortable here. Although the crowd still had her on edge. She now was able to get a good look at him, her eyes closing in on the gold bracelet. It was an item she'd seen on many of the frolicking men and women and she frowned, wondering the meaning of it.

She had to lean back a bit at the intensity of his gaze, slightly uneasy. She then realized she had almost overlooked a question.

"I would like, if it doesn't mean interfering in your work if you are an employee, about a possible job here and some sort of... nourishment. Preferably a pear or something." She chuckled faintly, finding herself uncomfortable with asking such a question.

"The pleasure, Madam Asara," Pladryi smoothly intoned as he reached for Asara's hand, and, if allowed, planted a soft kiss on the top of her hand, "is certainly mine. Please, share with me how I can service you this evening."

When Asara finally revealed her desire's Pladryi quirked a slim, dark eyebrow at her, but his charming smile remained, "I can most certainly bring you something to eat and drink, though I must insist on a payment of five Gold Mizas, but as for gaining a job here I can certainly present you to the owner," he paused for a moment, "Though would you indulge me in considering my opinion? You seem ill suited to work here at the Golden Dragon. A delicate flower such as you deserves to be loved gently and tenderly, and not all who would ask for your time here would treat you as such," his hand moved to gently touch Asara's shoulder, "I would certainly not dream of stopping you from pursuing work here if that is your wish, but I would not like to see one such as you wilt under too much attention."

Asara jumped slightly at the touch of the man's lips, refraining from wrenching away her hand at his touch. At the mention of food and drink, the hunger in Asara's body took over her thoughts and grabbed her attention for a short while... At least, until he said the price.

Raising a faint eyebrow, Asara shrugged slightly. If food and drink would cost her five gold mizas, then the least she could do was enjoy it here. She reached down to her slim waist at the small pouch of mizas hanging there, about ten gold mizas in total (broken into an assortment of copper and silver as well as a few gold), and passed the required amount to this strangely kind, strangely garbed person.

"I would love to speak with the owner..." She fell silent as he spoke again, feeling slightly confused, but the suggestion behind the words made her pale complexion flush delicately. "I... Came her without knowledge of what... Goes on here... Truthfully, I was looking for a position in stables, if this lovely place has any. I do so love working with horses."

Asara felt like she was babbling, her embarrassment at his innuendo making her nervous and fidgety. It felt like she was a fool on the inside, but now at least, she understood the reason why he was clothed as such. She inwardly cringed as his hand clasped upon her narrow shoulder, feeling incredibly small, but she didn't pull away.

"Truthfully... I am grateful for your concern... I really am. I had no idea, whatsoever, as to what the lovely employees of this establishment did..."

Redundancy is very, very, unattractive at this point. Collect yourself. That cold voice returned with the eloquent, wonderful pep talk, and Asara rolled her eyes.

"Is it still possible to hire me here, kind host?"

Pladryi smoothly received the coin from Asara and deposited them... somewhere. It was difficult to see when the Mizas left his hand, and nearly impossible for Asara to see anywhere where they could be hidden.

Letting his hand slide off of Asara's shoulder Pladryi bowed his head once again, "If you're looking to work with horses, then Windmount Stables, The White Swan, or possibly Traveler's Row would be the place for you, Madam Asara. We have no stables here, and most everyone who works here does so primarily as a provider of companionship and comfort," he smiled warmly at her, "and do other work on the side."

Standing tall once more he continued to smile warmly at the cloaked woman, "Allow me to go get your food and drink, and if you still wish to meet with the owner upon my return then I will happily introduce you," Pladryi turned, but paused before he walked away, "I do hope you will consider my advice though. It would truly be sad to see such a beautiful flower wilt."

Pladryi walked off with that, and was gone for for a handful of chimes. When he finally returned it was with a platter full of delicious looking fresh fruit, and a long stemmed glass holding some wine, "Here you are Madam. I hope it is to your tastes," the handsome man bowed deeply before speaking again, "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
