Quelen was spending the afternoon swimming along the shore of the Silver Lake. She popped her head up every now and again, casting her eyes along the shore to see if anything interesting was around.
So far she had not found something, at least not something up on the beach. Inside the water she had found a pretty, brightly colored, starfish crawling along the sand. Using her hand and feet to gently swirl around the water to keep herself in position above the little creature as she sang to it in Char, her musical voice slipping up onto the shore:
"Pretty little starfish,
Crawling in the sand.
Sparkling with colors,
Not far from land.
What must you think,
In your wet little home.
With your limbs wiggling,
Looking without any bone."

Quelen giggled as she finished her little impromptu song. It certainly wasn't the best song, but she'd never really been one for making up her own songs. Still, it had been fun to sing to the pretty little thing, and it seemed to have enjoyed it as well, "At least, I hope you liked it little star."
