A half-collapsed city of alabaster and gold fiercely governed by Eypharians. Even partially ruined, it is the crown of the desert and a worthy testament to old glories and rising powers.

The day started out horrible, and just seemed to want to get worse. To begin, she couldn't get to sleep last night, and when she finally did, it a fitful. Several times Malah had gotten up in the middle of night, either too warm, too cold, or just plain laying in an uncomfortable position. She finally decided to get up after rolling off the bed in her sleep, which wasn't very long drop, but a bit painful nonetheless. Rubbing the back of her skull, she then shook her head to clear her mind. She could already tell, this was going to be one of those days. The ones where anything and everything that could go wrong, would. Hoping that the chaos would be as minor as possible, she started getting ready for the day.
Getting dressed was relatively uneventful, thank the gods. Her clothes slipped on easily enough, but her hair just couldn't seem to lay right. After ten minutes of fussing with it she finally decided it didn't matter that much and settled for getting it untangled. Herself in order, she opened the door to the room and walked out into her lab. She realized that it was later than she thought, apparently she had slept in as well. Cursing loudly to herself as she took notice of the condition of her lab. It was a mess, to be blunt. A couple scalpels lay around a half-dissected scorpion, the needles used to pin it down still inserted. A rat was apparently deciding to make a meal of it, but managed to scurry away just before Malah could get to it.
Swearing again, she proceeded to tidy up a bit as she remembered that she was too tired to get to it the day before. Taking the needles from the scorpion, and then gathering the scalpels, she worked to rinse them off in a water basin. Drying them off, she stuck them back where they had to go. Her eyes drifted across the stores stock, and she remembered The Viper's Embrace was finally open for business. She had to finish up cleaning quick or risk customers getting a bad impression. It was an unsettling feeling, but she felt it was going to be worth it in the long run. Taking the remains of the dissection, she tossed them out a back bedroom window.

She returned to put away a couple beakers and vials she had laying about. There were three small sized vials, four medium ones, and two of her large beakers out. As Malah picked the two larger ones up, there was a knock on the door. Hastily placing the object she still had in her hands in their places, Malah shouted "Come in!" Pausing in her cleaning to turn towards the door for a proper welcome. She may not like people, but at least offering the facade could possibly get her more business.
The door opened slowly, and a Benshira girl entered wearing a long desert robe and veil. She appeared to be around fifteen, but Malah was never adept at gauging humans ages. They grew far too fast. It left practically everything to the imagination, something Malah thought odd of them. Why would someone want to hide their self so if they had no ulterior motives? It seemed something that a thief or brigand would do, not an entire race. Her clothes were a dusty red in color, with the veil being an almost transparent maroon. The girl stood in the doorway a moment, taking in the rundown appearance of the shop. The Benshira spoke with a soft voice "Am I in the right store? This is the Viper's Embrace?" The girl looked a bit out of place in the shop, it definitely wasn't her choice of leisurely shopping.
"Yesss, thisss is the place. Welcome. Now what iss it I can do for you?" Analyzing the young girl with her cold gaze, tried to figure out what it could be to bring her into this kind of store. At first she thought it might be so that the girl could buy some poison for the hunters weapons, but she decided against that as the hunters would more likely come in their selves. And definitely not trust such a young, defenseless girl meet with a Dhani, alone. Unable to think of anything else though, she resorted to asking "What is a young girl like yourssself doing in a poison shop hmm?"
