Oh great, where am I? Fela thought to herself as she stared blinking into the sun. She shifted uncomfortably feeling the twigs and branches of the bush she was laying in scrape and poke her tender flesh. From the vast amount of discomfort and the breeze she could feel in all of her unmentionable regions she concluded she was completely nude. A quick glance confirmed her suspicions.

Lovely. She muttered as she wiggled free from the restraints of the foliage with a heavy sigh. She looked around to take in her settings and clear her foggy mind. Arms over her head she stretched, easing the tension built up in her muscles. The area was rocky and had a spattering of trees. Not much to look at, but that wasn't saying much. A sheer rock face loomed in front of her vision and seemed to stretch on for an eternity.

A quick glance behind her rewarded her with a view of the coast. A small passenger boat sat parked at the dock complete with a very disgruntled looking sailor staring directly at her.

Fela placed a hand on her hip and returned the mans stares with a stern look on her face. After a few moments he looked away and pretended to busy himself with checking the pile of ropes that were carelessly tossed beside him.

Satisfied she won the staring contest Fela returned to surveying the area around her and was met with a most unusual sight, a set of stone eyes pierced into hers as if looking for her soul. The face was carved directly into the side of the rock face.

I'm sure that was not there just a moment ago...

She crept closer to the rock face with one eye brow raised for a closer look. The closer she walked towards the massive structure the more it seemed less like a rock and appeared more alive somehow. It seemed to breathe when she took a breath, twitch and almost seem to smile along with her.

She stopped dead in her tracks as a booming voice rang out into the stillness of the woods

“You have come in search of the City of Illusion. Tell me, stranger, why are you here?”

Fela smiled up at the strange rock and replied

I don't know buddy, why don't you tell me. To be completely honest I couldn't tell you my name if you asked me for it. All I know is I would looove to get away from the leering eyes of the creep over there by the docks. Think you could help me out here friend?

She swore she could hear a distant chuckle rolling away on the wind moments before a thunderous crack killed the silence of the forest and the massive jaws of the stone face lowered to the ground to reveal a gateway to what could be found beyond it gaping jaws. With a confident waggle in her step the Kelvic waved a cocky little goodbye to the sailor at the docks and strode into the city hopeful it could answer the many questions rattling away in her brain.

The city was lovely, splashes of color were everywhere and the buildings seemed to sparkle in the early midday light. The Kelvic glanced behind her and found the doorway was gone.

Another surprise in the city of illusions.

Fela smirked and turned back around. The street had changed, a place boasting a sign naming it Okana's Tent had since then moved to the opposite side of the street and the sparkling paint was now a somber white. The trees littering the sides of the street now shown with a vibrant purple hue and seemed taller than before.

People milled about the square, or you could call it that, looking busy and purposeful. Unmoved by her state of undress Fela started walking towards the shops looking for directions and hopefully a familiar face.

Seidaku scratched idly at the back of his head and looked around at the square he found himself in. He had to admit, the city had gotten better recently in turning him about. This was the fourth time this season that he had ended up turned about. Wait, was it still Spring, or was it Summer now?

How did I get as far as the wall?, he wondered, crossing the square with hurried steps. He had the impression that home was nearby somewhere.

While he walked, he took a rare moment to appreciate the beauty of the city. The warm Spring - or Summer? - sun reflecting off of the amythest leaves of the trees in the square, the brilliant colors of the clothing of the natives, the ever-changing architecture, the naked woman striding down the street.

Wait, what? Naked woman? Even in Alvadas, that was unusual enough that he found himself staring despite himself. Which is how he ran headlong into a tree that he would steadfastly maintain had not been there a second ago.

With a startled squawk that was cut off abruptly with a dull thud, he found himself laying on his back, dazedly blinking away a cloud of stars.

10th day of summer, 511 AV

A thud followed by a surprised squeak pulled Fela's attention over to the left side of the street. A man lay sprawling in the dirt patch surrounding a rather large now Iridescence hardwood. A giggle crept up her throat, it didn't take much to figure out what had happened.

Cat calls and whoops of laughter came from all sides. Some leering eyes and snarky remarks were aimed at her but the majority of the noise was directed at the poor man in the dirt who appeared dazed and rather befuddled.

Fela ignored the calls and slipped closer to the man for a better look. He was of average height, average weight and average demeanor. Fela flared her nostrils to test the air, human. Human and young. A slight smile curved her lips and there was a twinkle in her eyes. Humans were such interesting creatures. They were so full of conflicting emotions, they denied their baser instincts to satisfied delusions that they could rise above their own nature and become somehow better. Yet when all was said and done, all acts were powered by those instincts and needs. Everything could be broken down to a quirk of their biology, and yet they try and they try to break free.

Such...adorable...creatures.

Fela thought to herself.

By now she was standing directly over him peering down with a quizzical expression. The man's eyes fluttered open, unfocused and unsure. They were a deep brown and even in his current state held a great wealth of knowledge and understanding. They echoed a childlike curiosity which had matured into an investigative adult.

Supporting herself in the trunk of the tree Fela leaned over and tapped the human on the forehead.

Have you regained your faculties yet there mister? Quite a little bump you have there.

As if to punctuate her sentence she poked the nearly formed lump sprouting from his forehead.

Laying in the dirt with the laughter of the crowd ringing in his ears, Seidaku tried to will a crack to open in the earth and swallow him whole. He squeezed his eyes shut with a deep sigh, and then opened them to a much closer look than was appropriate of the woman across the square, who was no longer across the square.

Blushing crimson at the proximity, he flinched at each tap on the forehead, on what was, based on the tiny flare of pain at each contact, the beginnings of a truly amazing knot. Of their own volition, his eyes absorbed the details of the woman standing above him. Short and thick, but in all the right places an honest part of his mind pointed out, with pale skin - quite alot of pale skin, which was surprising if she routinely got as much sun as she was now. In an attempt to maintain some sort of propriety and to slow his heart rate, he forced his focus onto her face and was met with another surprise. Bright spots of paint gave her an exotic - primal? - appearance, but the feature that dominated her face was her eyes. Blue that was closer to black and brown touched by gold, the mismatched orbs caught his attention and refused to let go.

Taken together, the entirety was enough that the stammer in his reply was caused only partially by his recent blow to the head, "Oh, I'm, ah- I'm quite alright. Just the, ah, umm, just a slight bump." He looked around at the passing crowd and noticed the glances that the crowd was giving them - mostly her, and asked, "Where, umm, where are your clothes?"

It was such a glorious day in Alvadas. Vhanet was walking the streets with probably the biggest, most sincere smile she had had in years. It was summer, and a pleasantly warm day. She might have even been able to go without her fur lined cloak, but had kept it on in case the weather chilled at all.

Her wanderings took her to a square, and as she walked up her smile seemed to only grow. It seemed someone was being publicly humiliated, judging from the taunting calls, laughs, and other noises. Eagerly she slipped her way through the crowd, wondering just who was being a fool, and eagerly anticipating how she could make it worse. The scene she finally found however stopped her progress, and killed her smile.

Seidaku, on the ground, staring up at a naked woman. Vhanet's eyes narrowed as anger flashed inside her. Seidaku was her toy, and she would not allow anyone else to play with him. She was tempted to transform to her Dhani form right there, lunge at the woman and kill her with her fangs before devouring her, but that would probably be enough to draw even Seidaku's suspicion.

Instead she put a show of concern on her face, and rushed out of the crowd. Using an illusion to hide her hissing accent she called out, "Seidaku! Oh, are you alright?" falling onto her knees in the dirt Vhanet gingerly reached out a hand to brush against the bump on his forehead, "Oh, your poor head. What happened?"

She completely ignored the naked woman standing nearby for the moment. Maybe this little claim would be enough to show what was Vhanet's. Maybe the woman was just crazy, she was wandering naked after all, or maybe she would try and continue her seduction of Seidaku. Vhanet wished for the last, because then she would have a reason to have some fun with this strange woman.

10th day of summer, 511 AV

Fela smiled at the stammering man and noted the bright blush that was overtaking his face.

"Where, umm, where are your clothes?"

Her face relaxed and full of good humor, Fela looked down as if to make sure clothes had not magically appeared on her body and to confirm she was indeed nude.

Well...She paused and thought about it. Her memory was still foggy but bits and pieces of the last few weeks were breaking through. Splashes of color, glimpses of faces and an amalgamation of fur and flesh. She felt the stab of claws in her back, the phantom feeling faded but she still reached back as if to make sure the wounds weren't real. Her face went blank and she realized her words had trailed off. I really don't know. I woke up this way.

More memories came flooding back to her. A shack nestled between two towering shops, a pile of blankets that looked well used and an ornate trunk holding prized possessions. She knew the house was hers but had no idea how to reach it.

She perched on her heels and hugged her knees into her chest considering the position she was in. She was lost and naked, the least of her worries, and couldn't even remember her name. Well at least this man seemed nice, albeit a little clumsy

Fela's nostrils flared once again as the musky scent of snakes filled her senses and she felt the approach of another body.

"Seidaku! Oh, are you alright?" The woman fell to her knees in the dirt and reached out gently to brush against the lump forming on the man's head. "Oh, your poor head. What happened?"

The woman seemed to know him pretty well, and had absolutely no interest in Fela what so ever. Which was just fine with her. She regarded the pair in front of her with a blank face. It was a struggle to keep her face from showing the distrust and malice she felt for the woman in front of her. She was Dhani, no matter the illusion or no matter the form, there was a musk she could not help but notice whenever one was around. Not all Dhani are cut from the same cloth but most of them were. Most were not to be trusted, or let to walk behind you.

She did not know where her clothing was? And she did not seem terribly concerned about it. She had even seemed to be confused by the question, though whether that was due to not knowing the answer or being perplexed by the question itself was beyond his ability to answer.

His blush deepened as she crouched down beside him, and had his mouth opened to stammer a reply when Vhanet seemed to coalesce out of the ether at his side. He had a moment of panic at the compromising situation in which he had been caught, before he reminded himself forcibly that he had not done anything wrong.

As it was, his eyes darted back and forth between Vhanet and the strange woman, keeping to their faces to avoid temptation on both sides, and his mouth opened and closed several times, deciding against answers before they were even fully formed, before he managed, "Oh, Vhanet, I'm, ah, quite alri-," he cut off with a wince at the pressure on his head, "Quite alright. It looks much, umm, worse than it is."

Pushing himself up onto his elbows as the precursor to climbing back to his feet, something he could not accomplish with Vhanet in the position she was, he said, "Vhanet, this is... umm...," he paused, face screwed up in concentration and he turned toward the still naked woman crouched nearby, "I don't actually know your name. I think she is lost..."

10th day of summer, 511 AV

Fela watched the man sit up and brace himself. He winced and Fela could hear a small gasp of pain escape his lips. There was no way he could stand up and possibly regain his dignity from his current position surrounded by a flock of onlookers in addition to herself and the unknown woman.

Fela rose to her feet slowly and turned a very angry face to the crowd. Her face contorted into a mask of primal energy, showing the inner animal. That tamed cat that would let you pet it's head and sleep with you but as soon as it felt bored would just as soon rip your windpipe straight out of your neck as cast another glance your way. She felt her humanity drain out of her face. She let out a loud hiss bearing her canines at the onlookers. Spittle hit the ground in front of her. The sound was unnatural coming out of a human throat but it got the point across, most of the onlookers scattered. A few walked off a little slower with a grumble and whine added to their "aw shucks" steps.

The animal inside of her felt neutral, no strong feelings either way. If they left it served her purposes and if they stayed she would have lost no sleep over using...physical force.

That should take care of those vultures.

Fela dusted off her hands both figuratively and literally for show. She felt her inner cat go back to sleep and a surge of human emotions came flooding back to her. Her emotions seemed to be her major weakness. Most Kelvic's only thought with their animal brain. Things held no emotional attachments for them. They only cared if the outcome was in their favor. Fela on the other hand knew the pain of loss, of family, of love and of hatred. It was a blessing and a curse.

She turned back around with a sincere smile painted across her face, it lit up her eyes making her seem much more naive and hopeful. Fela stepped in close enough to the woman to invade her personal space, leg pressed against her arm, hinting for her to back up. She extended a hand to the man to help him to his feet. She felt somewhat responsible for his current state and knew it was her responsibility to help him. It was after all her state of undress that more than likely caused the accident in the first place.
Humans can be so cute when they are flustered. She thought to herself.

At that moment a name started echoing in her mind, Salida. A flash of white hair blocked her vision for a split second before being consumed by flames. She shook the image away.

My name is...Umm. Well I think it might begin with an 'R', but I could be so wrong about that. As soon as it comes to me, be certain you will be the first to know.

Vhanet had to give it to the woman, she'd done a decent job of flustering Seidaku. The way he could barely respond to Vhanet's words was good, but the fact she had needed to be completely nude in order to do so meant that she could not possibly contest with Vhanet's skill. So it was time to let the fool know that she was messing with Vhanet's property, and that would not be tolerated.

As the naked woman stood up and glared at the crowd Vhanet took the opportunity to lean close to Seidaku, planting a soft kiss on the bump of his head, and then moved to help him up, "Here, let us get you back to your home Seidaku, so you can rest," she said softly, but before she could actually help Seidaku up the woman was back and pushing her so she could help Seidaku up instead.

Vhanet backed up with a soft, surprised, gasp, and her eyes turned towards the naked woman's back. Again she was tempted with the desire to change and kill the woman, but the fool was not worth the trouble she would cause. Instead Vhanet would make sure Seidaku had little desire to associate with the tramp.

Carefully Vhanet crafted a second auditory illusion, a soft voice whispering so that only the naked woman could hear it. It was the woman's own voice that spoke, but tinged with a vile darkness, "We should kill the man. Slit his throat open and drink his delicious blood. Then we could take his clothes, or maybe we could make clothes from his flesh. He looks like he has soft flesh, doesn't he?" as the voice spoke Vhanet kept a surprised look on her face at the woman's forceful intrusion.

Seidaku was so busy grinning stupidly from the kiss, and the blow to the head, that he almost missed the naked woman's display to the crowd. As it was, his only response was a confused blink and a whispered question to Vhanet, "Is she, ah, hissing at the crowd?"

The fact that the crowd began to disperse, most of them with some degree of urgency, seemed to argue that the answer to his question was yes, she was hissing at the crowd. Very strange, indeed.

"Oh, umm, thank you," he said, accepting the woman's surprisingly calloused hand and pulling himself to feet. Oblivious to the interaction between the two women, he offered a hand to help Vhanet up from where she was crouched. It was only polite, seeing as she had only been down there to help him, after all.

She doesn't know her own name?, he thought with a small frown, No wonder she has behaved so strangely. The poor thing is probably half-addled...

"Well, umm, R," he pronounced the letter phonetically, "It is a, uhh, a pleasure to meet you. My name is Seidaku, and this is Vhanet." After a brief pause, he added, "Perhaps we should, ah, find you something to cover your... your condition."
