Sabrina wildly nodded her head, pretending to agree with every last thing he said. "Of course, I'll do whatever you want!" she said, trying to sound relieved. I should get an award or something... she thought, biting her lip in order to conceal a little smile.
"But if you run, I'll hunt you down and kill you."
She tried to keep her face as sad and innocent as possible, but this damn Symenestra was getting on her nerves. Little acts of violence towards him stirred in her mind. He looked almost as fragile as the woman earlier with his disgusting boniness and pale complexion. "Thank you, mister! Thank you for sparing my life!" she said as he was about to leave the room. But suddenly, the door barged straight open, making a loud noise, and a glint of silver shone in the light. She heard metal clatter on the ground, then saw the knife very shortly after that. What in the...
She watched the man as he picked it up from the ground and tucked it in his cloak, not even looking like he was even a smidgen concerned. She, however, quickly took off her backpack and searched for the cool metal that would be her dagger. She pulled it out and put her pack back on, grabbing her other two bags filled with her belongings and stuffed them under her arms, careful not to make that much of a ruckus. She waited until she could no longer see the man from both directions of the hallway, and swiftly made her way towards the downstairs. She needed to get out of here, and fast.
She kept her dagger more hidden as she walked outside, securing her bags on her horse. She was just about to throw her leg over the horse when her stomach made a long and loud grumble, signaling that it was time to eat. "Ugh, shoot!" she said to herself, even more annoyed. She checked her bag, disorganizing all her things, and noticed that she only had a weeks worth of food. She didn't know when the next time she'd be in a town again and didn't want to waste anymore food than she had to.
She checked both ways of her sight for any guards and quickly grabbed her dagger from her bag again, shoving it in her boot. "Hold tight, I'll be right back." she said to the horse, patting it on her neck.
She wiped the rest of the blood and tears from her face with her sleeve, then rolled them up to her elbows so none of it would show. She started fast walking, watching everything that was going on around her as she headed for the Bazaar.
