3rd day of Summer 510 AV

After seeing Kail return home for the evening Taithrosa walked down to the beach of the island away from the town were he could have some privacy. He had been a little distracted reseantly and so wished to focus upon his meditation again this evening and get back into that focus.

The longer he spent upon Mizahar, the more he began to suspect part of his decrease in power was caused by the change from a non physical form to that of a physical form. He wondered if he could regain more of them as he focused on clearing his mind and bring his mental powers back under control and up to par again.

So he waited as Syna set beneath the waves and Taith watches as his master once again began to rise above the waters edge. As he did so he knew that the change would be taking place it always didn. His saphire blue skin would slowlly lighten to a radiate billiant white. His face would stay basically the same expect subtle changes around the eyes that gave his a more etheral look, and the appearances of jade horns also marked the difference. Taithrosa was suprised that his horns and hair had changed with the season, but change they had.

He slowlly stripped off his clothing and stood at the edge of the water naked. His skin glowed with an inner light that seemed to lighten around him. He was handsome and beautiful all at the same time. His natural face, and body were ruggedly handsome. His muscles strong and his skin smooth, with a friendly face. The beauty came from the exotic and etheral accents that marked his as an immortal. He walked into the water, enjoying the colder water against his warm skin. It seemed to create an interesting contrast.

Finally he came to a good depth and sat down. He took his time positioning himself. He placed his feet together so that his knees were streched to either side of him, and then he carefully rested his hands on the water so that they floated. He straightened his spin and tilted his head back so that he could stair upwards at his master in the night sky. All the while his glowing made him look like a star in the water.

Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

As Taithrosa sat in the water be began to close down his mind. He pushed away all thought focusing instead upon an inner spot of his mind, at the very core of his continousness. He cleared his mind of all thought and just relaxed his breathing so that it was slow and steady hympnotical almost.

As he cleared his mind he allowed himself to return to that inner world with in his mind. He found himself in the inner parts of his mind. The green hill next to the streem of memeories which the dame against the flood to his back. Here he was in his inner most self. This was the core of his mind and soul. Here he was at the center of what made Taithrosa himself. This was the part of his soul that carried from one life to another. Beyond this he could devele even deeper into his soul or he could turn towards the outside. To turn deeper he would begin to contemplate the things he knew and understood, to turn outwards he would be able to better understand the world around him. Either way was enlightment, but for now Taithrosa just enjoyed the quiet of being with himself. The memeories cleared and just being Taith.

The Delicate Waves of Thought (Meditation)

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on July 10th, 2011, 2:32 am

The gentle moon light fell upon his skin as he sat quietly meditation in the water, the lap of the waves was as nothing to the fallen child of Leth, it had been his savior that which had made it possible for him to surive the fall from grace. His mind wasn't focused on the water around him and the memories of its interaction with him.

His mind was focused upon his breathing, and the lapping of the waves created a rythm for his breathing to match. His muscles were relaxed his arms and hands resting on the surface of the water. His legs crossed so that his feet rested underneth his knees.

He allowed himself to feel nothing, to think nothing to just relax and to drive away the flashes of memory, to be his current self. He allowed his mind to allow memories begin to flow. He was still to new at meditation and knew that he wasn't yet at a skill level were he would be able to pick apart the memories that flowed through his mind. He wanted to be able to focus so that one day the collage of images would form and collese into something that made sences.

So he just meditated quietly in the water the ocean cooling his radiant skin. He breathed and allowed himself to allow his mind to be blank. As he did so tried to allow himself to register everything that was around him, but as he opened up his mind he felt his concentration slip, and then fall apart. He opened his molten silver eyes and gave a sigh before standing up and departing for the evening.

The Delicate Waves of Thought (Meditation)

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on July 14th, 2011, 3:17 am

Once again Taithrosa returned to his place of meditation. Some times he felt like his swarm of memories would always control him. That day had been particularly difficult for the Akalak/Ethaefel. The chaos of his mind at one point had forced him to depart from the noise of the room and walk throught the Opal Temple until he found the shrine to Rak'keli. It was a quiet place and some were where he felt he could find the calm he needed.

He has sat on the floor in one of the corners and folded his legs so he was sitting with one foot resting on one knee. While obtaining this position did require some flexing at first, it also allowed him to not be distracted by his ankle digging into the gournd.

He had intertwined his fingures and rested his arms on his legs and the began to meditate. He slowed his breathing, trying to clear his mind. Many parts of his mind became clear but the memories just kept rushing by. He tried to build the mental dame but it wouldn't hold.

After a while Taithrosa allowed himself to just be swept up in the wave of memory. At first they were chaotic, but as Taithrosa just sat there and allowed them to flow past them, he began to catch glimps of past lives. The main one that he was actally able to see were from his previous life. In his mind he saw himself being taught by and older Akalak how to fight. He knew the man as his father, but for some reason neither a name nor a face came with the image. Just the lesson.

He had been in a fight at his lessons, and came home bruised. His father had brought him out into the gardens, and had made him take a stance. He had shown him how to position his body to give the less attackin space but to still provide himself with flexability. The large man in him memory, a man who made him feel safe and secure the stood next to him and also taking the stance showed him how to block a hit. Then he showed him how to throw a basic punch. The two of them had stood there for a good while practicing these basic moves. Taithrosa remembered the feel of it and the pleasure it had given him.

Little did he know that as the memory had overcome him a couple gentle tears had traveled down his cheeks. He opened his eyes and blinked away the tears. It was just one memory, and not completely a clear, the only thing clear was the lesson, he couldn't describe his father from that lifetime, and he couldn't describe the garden or the house, or even why he had been fighting, but he felt better after that.

So it was that later that evening he was returning to once again meditate.

Taithrosa walked into the water, each step exposing more skin to the cool touch of the water. The water traveled slowlly up his exposed skin, as his naked body made its way into the shaollow water along the coast of the island. Once Taithrosa had found a depth he like he lowered himself further into the water so that he was sitting on the shifting sands. The water came to his chest so that he could rest his arms upon the surface of the water. He tilted his head back and enjoyed the feel of his god's warmth upon his face and skin. He was after all a son of Leth and it was now that his skin shown with brilliant inner light. Pale and beautiful Taithrosa was a fallen immortal. Born as he was always to stay that way until he was called back home.

He closed his eyes, those pools of liquid silver and allowed himself to just relax. He began to focus on clearing his mind, he found that it was easier then it had been earlier that afternoon. His breathing matched the movement of the waves as they came in and out. His chest moving with that rythm. His mind began to clear, he thought of nothing, his body just breathing. He drew his mind upward and it seemed as if for a while he wasn't part of his body, his mind was focused upward.

He sat there just not thinking but listening to the world. It was only after a while that he realized that he was listening. He heard the waves moving in and out, he also knew that he had heard birds on shore, but as he became aware of these sound and actually began to think about them he felt his focus slipping. He put them out of his mind instea and focused again on clearing his mind.

He once again cleared his mind and just let his body function. He remained as if alof from his own body, just letting it feel and register the events going around it. The sand moving under him, the birds finding a morsal on the sands the waves moving in and out.

After a time thought he allowed thought to return and opened his eyes and slowlly stood up. He gentle whipped some of the water off his horns to keep them from dripp at the ends, and slowlly returned to the beach and his clothing.

The Delicate Waves of Thought (Meditation)

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on July 22nd, 2011, 3:13 am

Change was the ever constant. Once Taithrosa had thought he had moved beyond change, he had been brought into the realm of his god, Leth, ironically the god of change and the moon. Then the son of Leth had found himself hurtled from the heavens.

The Ethaefel had experiences much change since then. He had to learn how to live in this harsh unforgiving world that was now the realm he inhabbited. He wasn't sure how long he would be here, but he suspected that it would be a fair amount of time since he had meet other Ethaefel.

He found that this particular day wasn't going to be much easier then previous days actually it was a difficult day, he was feeling a longing for the home that he had lost. He always felt that. He had lost so much even the languages he could speak here on Mizahar were but as shadows of the glorious tongue he once was able to speak in the heavens.

He found a quiet corner of the library and closed his as he took a seat in a chair. He closed his eyes and tried to to think of anything, instead he just tried to push the thoughts from is mind. He struggled with it as the longing and the feeling of being cheeted lingured and filled his mind like a swirling mist. It was like a mist in that he couldn seem to catch the thoughts and control them. No these ones were to powerful.

The large man breathed in and out slowlly and rythmically trying to focus instead up that breathing, and while his breathing slowed, and he was able to begin to push back the feelings of resentment. The longing stayed there at the edges of his mind and he cleared his mind, unable to do more then clear it of thoughts.

The Delicate Waves of Thought (Meditation)

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on July 30th, 2011, 3:05 am

The evening had settled over Taithrosa as he sat on the beach. As the moon slowlly began to rise above the horizon, and as Leth took his place in the sky Taithrosa changed. His saphire blue skin began to lighten and changed from it slowlly light to a beauitful white that seemed to lighten even more, but it stopped being the color and instead became the a inner light that seemed to slowlly spread outwards until his skin was glowing, as his skin began to glow horns began to appear on his forehead.

He stood then and stripped himself of his clothing and walked into the water that had been the womb of this life. He sat down and positioned himself so that the water only came up to his well muscled chest and he could rest his hands upon the hands upon the waves.

He tilted his head back so that the light of the moon feel full upon his face. His liquid silver eyes slowlly closed and his breathing slowed down so that he would focus upon it, he allowed his thoughts to slowlly drain away. As he did so he began to build up the dame that held the choas of his membories at bay. He had countless lifetimes in his memories, and some were so burried that he hadn't even caught glimps of them.

He contiuned to focus upon clearing his mind, happy this evening to just focus on clearing his mind.

The Delicate Waves of Thought (Meditation)

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on October 11th, 2011, 2:46 am

His mind clear Taithrosa breathed in and out, and slowed his heart beat. It didn't need to beat so fast as he meditated, he could hear the beat of his own heart. He focused on it allowing it to slow as his breathing slowed. It wasn't easy. The heart was controled by a part of the brain that concious though didn't have much access to. He remained calm though and focused on breathing in and out so that it would calm down.

After a while of sitting in the water he could feel his heart beging to slow. He didn't believe for a moment he had any real control, but just the clear uncluttered resting allowed his heart rate to slow just a bit.

He contiuned to sit quiet meditating. His mind clear against the intrusion of thoughts as he sat quietly waiting and at peace. After a while he opened his liquid silver eyes and looked up at his father and then standing stepped out of the water and dried off.
