Rykker Whitevine   Basic Information Race: Mixed Blood Birthday & Age : Season of Spring, day 33, 486, 25 Gender: Male PB- Jay Tavare   Physical Description Rykker's physical appearance is a mix of mother and father. Rykker has dark grayish fur all over his body, however he seems to be minus the longer hair that full Zith have on their elbow and knees, with a combination of both races in his hair which he wears shoulder length and straight. His hair is dark black with shimmering highlights of green and blue in it. He's definitely got his mother's more rounded ethereally delicate bone structure in his face, with her eyes that are ever changing with his moods. Most times it is a shimmering almost golden red color. When he is calm his eyes are more golden to reddish color, if he is excited it may be a more reddish color and when angry they are completely black as if to resemble the more animalistic side of his Zith nature. He has no wings, but he does have claws on his nails. He tries to keep them relatively short on his hands and very short on his feet in order to accommodate when he may have to wear shoes. His build is slight but muscular, well toned and he stands at an average height of about five foot eleven inches, he weighs around one hundred and fifty-five pounds.   Character Concept Rykker's personality is adventurous, ambitious, impulsive, enthusiastic and full of energy. He  is a pioneer both in thought and action, very open to new ideas and a lover of freedom now that he has it. He covets the new found freedom of life that he is experiencing so will do anything in order to keep it. He welcomes challenges and will not be diverted from his purpose except by his own impatience, which will surface if he doesn’t get quick results. Rykker can be a courageous leader with a genuine concern for those he commands, but he will not hesitate to use his subordinates to obtain his own objectives.   As a follower, he can be troublesome, for he is apt to be immoderate in act and expression. He might be unwilling to obey or submit to directions for which he can see no reason, or with which he disagrees. Put frankly he took orders and obeyed for many a year, and now that he feels he doesn't have to he loathes to except direction unless he feels he can respect, or the order is necessary. He is very self-centered, thinking only of him self - both positively and negatively - and concerned with his own personal advancement and physical satisfaction to the point of greed.   Rykker’s immense energy makes him aggressive and restless, argumentative, headstrong, quick tempered, easily offended and capable of holding grudges if he feels himself affronted. In his personal relationships Rykker is frank, and makes an enthusiastic and generous friend. He has a high sex drive and is a passionate but fastidious lover.   History Born into two worlds neither of which really will be able to accept him because of his mixed blood, Rykker lives life from day to day. He doesn't expect to have friends, lovers, or any type of people to call his own. This is why he is pretty self centered, I mean who wouldn't when your whole mentality is I have to rely on myself. He has only ever had himself, and his mother while growing up he did what he was told as a slave, and did it well. Moved up in ranks, was taught his mothers skills from his mother. He was trained in carving, and started in carpentry. He had made his place in Zy as crafting elaborate carvings to be traded by the Zith. He grew up never getting any respect either from the Zith that were part of his blood or the other various slaves that he co-habitated with. Therefore he made his life revolve around how good he was in the things he did. Born to a Vantha from the hold of Whitevine who had been captured while she had been traveling as a healer as a young girl by the Zith of Zy for a slave, and his father who had fallen in love with her. His father is known to Rykker and his mother as Rynne though where or how he got that name he doesn't even remember now. He was called by someone outside of Zy as such, and liked it, so kept it. Rynne found the young Vantha slave, Lyndra Whitevine, captivating, intelligent, and beautiful. She found him boorish, firm, and slightly uncaring. They met as she was made to preform services within the Zy colony as a healer. She had been trained as a carver, and healer. She was proficient at both and often also carved elaborate scenes of what she remembered of her homeland for her Zith master to trade. Rynne had been injured in a fight with a fellow male Zith which left him wounded with cuts. She cared for him, and while she did so he wooed her, and the two seemed to work things out. Eventually, Rynne kept her as a mate while hiding her among the slaves. She never really was ever seen as anything but one of Rynne's slaves, because he bought her from her former owner, however often she was visited by him in the night after his 'true' mates were sleeping. Things got a bit dicey when she became pregnant with his child. In order to hide her away while she was pregnant she was sent down to the caverns to pick Salialana. When she gave birth and it was obvious to everyone it was part Zith she was shunned by most of the other slaves she had become close to in her work. It was a lonely existence after Rykker, as she called him, had been born. She called him that because it sounded as close to the sound as Rynne had said he wanted his boy to be named. Rynne never saw her again while she was pregnant or after the child was born. It was his way of keeping her, and his child safe even if it did seem harsh to Lyndra. While Rykker was young Lyndra kept mostly to herself, her work, and caring for her child. She taught him what she could of her land, language, and legacy as a Whitevine. Since the Zith had no real names except what outsiders gave them, and no surnames that she knew of she called him Rykker Whitevine. Rykker made a life of his own learning the starting of his mother's carving, medicine skills, herbalism, and gardening. From a fellow slave that seemed to see past his differences, and to his talents he learned a bit of carpentry. He also learned living among the slaves varied languages, since so many of the slaves were of different races, and cultures. He learned fluently his mother language, Vani, Common, and Pavi. He grew big, strong, and intelligent with the curiosity from his Zith father, and from his mother he is very dexterous and hardy young man. He grew up hearing his mother talk of Avanthal her home, and her hold of Whitevine. The healing that their hold did, and that before she was taken as a slave she had been journeying to other cities to practice her healing and medicinal skills more. She had been marked by Rak'keli twice, but was unable to obtain anymore because of her capture. Lyndra also taught her, her religions that she was still very spiritual about. She taught him of Morwen, Goddess of Winter, the queen of Avanthal. She also taught him of her love, and pledge to the Goddess Rak'keli that gave her, her gnosis that helped her in her work with medicine. Rykker thought her mother's life had been wasted by the Zith and their selfish ways, but what could he do his life was in their hands. As one of their slaves and someone that lived because of the food they gave him, shelter they provided for him, and work he couldn't do much against him. However, he did harbor resentment for the blood that ran through him from his father as being a Zith. When he turned twenty-three all hell broke lose, his father wanted to see his son, and bring his favorite mate as he seemed to think into the fold. Rykker couldn't care less as far as he was concerned he had never been in his life and while he might be his father he had no love for him. Lyndra was thrilled, to be taken into Rynne's life as a true mate. However, while he had been able to keep her safe while he had shunned her and had no contact with her and his son when he finally accepted her because he had missed her so, a year later she died after an attack from a jealous mate of his. The nail on his already rocky relationship with his father was pounded into Rynne's coffin for not being able to keep his mother safe. Rykker himself was constantly being attacked from fellow family members that were unwilling to accept him, and he learned a very low and crude level of fighting, but nothing that was anything really good. He survived mostly because of his tenacity and anger. He lasted a year longer, and finally just picked up and left, he had been given the full reign of Zy Castle maybe out of guilt from Rynne that his mother had been killed. He walked off with what little valuables he had, stolen money from his father, as he thought he owed him that much, and the little talents he had been taught to hopefully make it outside of Zy. He was heading to his mother's land in the hopes that maybe he would find some sort of solace there, though from long experience he had learned he was a man between worlds, neither of which would more then likely really accept him. What is your weight? 155lbs Aesthetics : 1. Describe yourself as you see yourself. I see myself as caught between two worlds. Split in looks and thoughts between my father's Zith heritage, and my mother's Vantha. 2. Describe yourself as others typically see you. An od looking sort with dark gray fur all over my body, and shiny multi-colored hair and eyes. 3. What is your favorite body feature? I suppose it would be my eyes, because they truly show you what I am feeling if you dare to get to know me at all. 4. How physically fit are you? I am fairly strong, and well fit, but not to an extreme. 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? I typically were leather, or fur. Family : 1. Who are your parents and what are they like? Lyndra Whitevine and Rynne are my parents, and I mostly grew up with my mother. I did not meet my father until just a few years ago. We don't get along, and I feel he is the reason I lost my mother. 2. Do you have any brothers or sisters? No. 3. What is your extended family like? I have never met any of the family on my mother's side, but hope to soon. My father's family resented me, fought with me, and generally loath me. 4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family? If I make a friend they are my family. 5. Do you treat animals like family? I haven't had much contact with many animals, so I am unsure how I would react to them. Location : 1. Where were you born? In the underground city of Xy, on the border between Cyphrus and Sylira. 2. Where do you live now? I am heading toward Avanthal to my mothers lands try my hand there. 3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be? I don't know yet, I will tell you when I have a bit more taste of freedom. 4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time? No, not yet. 5. Where do you fear to be? In Xy. Traits : 1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?) No, just some various scars on my body from fights with Zith family members. 2. Are you right handed or left handed? Right. 3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? I speak Vani, Pavi, and Common. I have a deep voice that is slightly rumbling sounded. I don't think so... 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I don't think so, but I suppose if you spoke to others they might disagree. However, they don't really matter anyway. I am who I am, and if you don't like well you don't have to be around me. 5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ? I don't at the moment, and I haven't decided if I want anything as of yet. Occupations : 1. What is your occupation? I am hoping to either make it as a carver of some sort, possibly a herbalist, or maybe I can be a healer, but I am unsure if I have the right personality for that. 2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why? I dislked my work before. Being a slave and doing something just because someone told you to is not something I want to do ever again. I want to be my own boss or at the least under some one that respects me, and I respect them to work for. 3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? Hrmmm... Interesting question, coming from being a slave that is very overwhelming for me give me a few to get used to my new found freedoms and I will get back to you. 4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why? I would say healers. My mother was one until she had me... 5. What occupation do you lest like? Why? I really can't say except that I would never want to be a slave to anyone again. Childhood : 1. What sort of child were you? Curious, obedient, hard working, until my mid-teens then I started to rebel a bit. 2. What is your favorite memory from childhood? When my mom would tell me of Avanthal. 3. What is your worst memory from childhood? It wasn't exactly from childhood but it is my worst memory and that was a year ago when my mother died. 4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents? I am or was very close to my mother. I have a strong dislike for my father and his family. 5. Who was your most influential rolemodel? My mother. Education : 1. What sort of education do you have? What education? I was taught here and there from my mother some of her abilities the rest I learned myself. 2. If so, describe the first time. MMMM Yes, I snuck one of my young fellow slave mates into a corner and we made out for a while. It was... Wet... we were both inexperienced. 5. Have you ever had sex? Well, I hadn't really thought of any of that really. I was too busy just trying to survive. Likes and Dislikes : 1. What are your hobbies? Carving, gardening when I have a nice plot of dirt to grew herbs in, and learning more about carpentry. 2. Do you like to read? I'm Tattoo, the Character Sheet Liaison, which means I'm the official 'helper' here in the CS forum. I noticed some things about your CS that need improvement. I know it can be a struggle wading through all the lore and getting your character in playable shape - starting with the CS. That's where I come in.

I saw one minor issues with your CS. You have your character knowing 5 languages. You are only allowed to start with 3, Fluent, Coversational, and Poor.
