Ever regarded the man who spoke up with a polite smile, "Why of course, sir. Should I make it a double for your green friend here as well?" She asked jokingly, giving a brief 'one moment' before walking away and disappearing behind a sliding door with a small sign above the frame that read 'Kitchen.'

It only took a matter of moments before she returned carrying a large circular tray filling up to the brim with the Golden Dragon's finest ale balanced on her left palm skillfully. She approached the men with the alchohol, walking around the group to let them choose which mug they preferred. After serving them all, with the exception of one, she set the tray fown on the table and personally handed Nilkayn his glass.

Standing back to take in the satisfied looks of all of her customers, Ever announced, "It's all on the house."

Kayn glanced at the man wondering if he actually would give him double, but it seemed unlikely. The woman soon left and Kayn let out his breath that he had unknowingly been holding in. The man next to him elbowed him in the ribs, "You got that one mate. Hooked her good, now real her in. She'll be a good'n." Kayn just stared at the man not comprehending.

The woman then returned, she served each man and finally she presented Kayn with his drink. A smile broke out on his face, and the smile widened as he heard the woman's proclamation.

He took a large swig letting the wonderful drink quench his thirst. He then turned to the men around them, hoping for an opening so he could maybe find a place to sit down by himself.

Time passed by quickly, as Ever sat and chatted with the men. All of the men of course, talked back, but Nilkayn seemed to keep to himself. That she could not have. She, bringing a smile to her face, she stood, "Excuse me men, I will be right back." She then left the group, entering into the back rooms where the workers went to take breaks. There she found two bards, whom she had listened to before and found very entertaining.

In moments, she had returned with the bards, and was standing before the men. "Now look," she said in a playful tone, as the bard began to strum on his instrument. "You all can't just be sitting here like drunken lumps, "She walked around the room, pulling the men up to their feet, including Nilkayn. At that moment, the music started to get faster and faster until a wonderful melodic tune was playing. Ever smiled, "Would anyone like to dance?"

Kayn stayed silent as the woman engaged the men in conversation, noting both the woman and men's reactions. Soon the woman excused herself, and returned shortly two men with instruments in tow. The woman then addressed the group, and made them all getup. Nilkayn let himself be pulled up but he towered over the other men; a green giant. The music continued to get faster and faster, until the music was making Kayn tap his foot to the beat. She then asked them to dance, all the men jumped at the chance all of them beginning to dance. Others soon joined in men and woman and everyone seemed occupied so Kayn attempt to sneak away making his way slowly to one corner of the room.

Ever grinned and clapped along with the beat, as she watched the drunken dancing unfold before her. It was almost impossible not to laugh at them, and she did her best, but still a few escaped her. Two of the men in front of her had decided to hook arms, and after several seconds of spinning around and singing, wound up on the floor. Many of the men started to laugh. Ever did as well, but she had to remember that she was still doing her job, so she bent to the floor and helped the men up.

She made she that they were all standing again, and made her way through the group by connecting arms, and being passed along. Thankfully, she had managed to escape from the center of the parade, and caught the vaguest glimpse of the man she had seen earlier walking away, in a somewhat sneaky manner. She raised an eyebrow.

He had seemed to migrate to a far corner of the room. Ever wondered why he was being so distant. Taking a breath, she straightened her stance, and walked over to him silently. When she was sure he had no clue she was behind him, she leaned forward, placing her hands on his hips and her lips close to his ear. "Where are you going off to?"

Kayn felt the gentle hand around his waist, and he could feel the breath of the woman as she whispered into his ear. He tensed turning around slowly a expression on his face a mixture of cheekiness, shame, and the look of a man who had just got caught doing something he shouldn't. "Erm..Eh...Well...Ah.." He stuttered trying to find the right words, his wit all but leaving him under the young woman's gaze.

Reduced to a bumbling idiot, by a nice pair of tits, an hourglass, figure and plump lips. Your a disgrace.

Kayn didn't feel like dealing with Nil at the moment so he ignored him focuseing on the woman, "I-I didn't want to be here." He blurted out, he regretted it immediately.

Smooth. Very smooth.

Ever offered him a smile, and stood back, giving him somewhat of his personal space back. He didn't want to be here, huh? She could relate to that, but of course...she needed to be. She eyed him, squaring him up, studying his profile, and looking deep into his eyes. She let a small, sly smirk form on her lips. She tilted her head a bit to the side so she could get a better look at his face. "Then why do you stay?" She asked, knowing she may not get a straight answer.

She waited a few moments, before straightening again, "It's alright, you know? No one is making you stay here." She took a few slow steps, until she was to the right of him. She shut her eyes, thinking to herself, "So, you are an Akalak, right?" She asked opening her eyes, and looking at him with pure innocent curiosity. "I have studied about them before. You fit the description pretty well."

He knew he shouldn't have said that, but she was merciful and simply smiled at him. He returned a lopsided smile. Standing back, she seemed to study him, he felt sort of squirly, as she seemed to weigh him up, hopefully she didn't find him wanting. She finally looked deep into his eyes, he felt slightly odd as he looked into the woman's eyes, he felt he saw something. Something like...understanding.

She tilted her head to the side obviously finished with her scrutiny, she then asked a him a question pausing he answer slowly and quietly. "I didn't want to be rude."

She paused and he let his words sink in, she then said something about him not needing to stay, and no one would stop him. He glanced over to the men, they had brought him here and stopped him from leaving, but now he was away from them. He glanced towards the door then back towards the woman, he was curious about this woman she was so very odd. In fact to him all woman where odd, but that was beside the point. She stepped closer, standing to the right of him, he followed her with his eyes. She shut her eyes, this completely baffled him, and it showed on his face.

She then asked him a question, he glanced down himself think the question funny. "Last time I checked." When he glanced back up she was looking at him with open eyes.

"Yes, well even among my race green skin isn't all that common. But other than that..." He glanced down at himself, well toned muscles, broad chest, he may look like a good specimen, but among his kind he could be considered slightly to skinny, with less bulk than the average akalak. "Yes well, I guess so."

He hoped she didn't know to much about akalaks for if so she would know he was skipping over that fact.

Ever chuckled a bit at his reply, but said nothing further on the subject of appearances. She then turned her body, and let it fall back until it was resting on the wall behind her, her hands laced behind her back. She looked out across the Lobby, watching the continueing performance of the bards and drunken men. "So, tell me about Riverfall," she asked, not looking from the scene before her. "What is it like there? Is life better there than it is in Sylira?" She knew these were personal questions, but he didn't seem like the type to get too offended too quickly, so she asked them anyways.

Her thoughts then roamed back to how life really was here in Sylira. What one had to do to survive. She prayed it was not like this everywhere. She wanted to go somewhere where people didn't recognize her by the appearance told in the latest rumor. She wanted to go somewhere where they weren't immediately judging her for her past mistakes. A clean slate. That's what she wanted.

The woman leaned back, and Kayn followed the suit. By now Nil was raging in the back of his mind to get out of her, but he could now see that Kayn had his mind set so he left it. They both watched the drunken group dancing. She asked him about Riverfall, very casually not even looking from the dancers.

"Riverfall. Hmm well..." Paused thinking, "Is life better in Riverfall than Syliras? I guess it depends who you are, in many ways it is similar, but we lack the crushing repression of the knights, but we have our own way to repress ourselves. Well for one to truly understand Riverfall one must first understand the Akalak. Akalaks are trained to be to play at there strengths if one is not strong then one becomes and artist, and so on and so forth. One must be contributing to society in some way." He paused for glancing at the woman decideing that she would want to know more about a woman's life, then launching right back in.

"I'm guessing you know that we are an all male race? As such we need other races females to..." He coughed, "Procreate. A woman in our society is called a Nakivak. If one is not a Nakivak, then..." He paused uncomfortable, "Then they soon become one, by any means necessary. A Nakivak has a duty to keep herself fit, strong, and healthy, for in our society woman are for one thing and one thing only; to bare our children. A Nakivak has a duty to," he coughed again. "To give herself, to all and any akalaks that call on her." He paused saying in a low tone something that he would never say in riverfall. "It is very similar to slavery..." His eyes glazed over, then he came back continuing. "But that does not mean they are treated as slaves, more like extremely valuable possessions. A Nakivak lives in luxury, but must follow the rules."

"Once a Nakivak fall pregnant, she is then..erm..bonded? Bonded, to the child's father, and is there forth that Akalaks woman. A akalak may have as many woman as pleases him." He glanced at the woman letting his words sink in, hoping he hadn't upset her.
