Syndela Orasil Basic Information Race: Symenesta Birthday & Age: 489 AV ( 20 years old ) Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Languages: Fluent - Symenos | Basic - Common No third language yet. Theme Song Physical Description Height: 163cm tall or 5'4 Weight: 50kg or 130lbs Before you stands an averagely sized woman, conceived in a thick veil of robes embroided with fine black and silver silk. The material shimmers vaguely in the dim lighting of the street and shifts with the shadows, easily concealed within the darkest of corners if it were to be positioned correctly. As the female lowers her hood a curtain of white flowing hair cascades to her shoulders. Ivory white strands lightly jaded with black stripes decorate the hair as it extends to just below her bosom. Various loops clasp the fronds toward her face, hooping in metallic rings elegantly to showcase perhaps her proffession. However, the most startling yet frightening feature rested in her face. Two bloody orbs of scarlet hung under lowered mascara eyelids, contrasting against the pale white flesh. Rivlets of grey veins barely noticeable run up her neck, signifying her racial identification. Below the neck beyond the flowing robe was a simple silken garnment, a corset-like top that extended down until the folds of shadowy fabric ensconced the view. At the waist where the robes were tied together was a belt strung together of crimson material, though dull. It seemed anything else other than the well maintained hair and intricate robe was but normal clothing, suggesting that the female was not as extravagant as first though. A simple denzien holding back her appearance from the judgement of others, a hapless guise to safeguard away from prying eyes and blades. Beyond the tightly bound belt where the robes parted slightly, you catch a glimpse of bare feet. A set of black slightly predatorial nails line each foot, though trimmed back to give the impression of painted tips. The robes fit loosely to the thin figure of the Symenestrian, forbidding any passer-bys a full glimpse at the body that laid underneath. Character Concept Syndela is a calculative woman who yearns to transcend into something more than the life of a mere hunted being. Her thoughtful and manipulative nature condemns her to a life of debauchery, finding little to no comfort in the perception of the other races. Being judged for what she is rather than who she is has cast Syndela down a shadowed path. Working as a travelling entertainer in-training, she is gifted in the arts of dance aerobatics. The possession of such abilities allows the female to charm possible meals and later uses her contacts as food to sustain her vigilant yet two-faced lifestyle. Yet beyond the cunning veil is a young student who yearns for adventure, respect and reputation. Her inner fire burns with intensity to hunt, travel and perhaps meet one day the tolerance and acceptance of others like herself. At the better of times, she can be negotiable and talkative, but only for her own purposes. At the worse, she is cruel and tacticful, planning ahead before an attack. Determined, sharp and quick witted - Syndela thrives on revenge, ever-wishing that perhaps one day someone or something may propel her to greater heights. Character History Born into a family of three sisters as the youngest was not easy. Society within the vast chambers of Kalidor was precarious, forever waining as the populations dwindled. Her mother, Desmona Orasil was one of the cities few remaining aerial dancers and taught the demanding yet fragile artistry to her daughters. Desmona was known to have much luck run in her veins, having survived three pregnancies and births - yet such things did not come without a price. After the second daughter was bred, the stomach of the lady was scarred beyond repair, becoming a hinderance to both her ego and movement. Albeit, the artistry of dance was taught to her daughters to support the family and carry on the dying tradition of it's people. From the three siblings, Syndela was often disciplined on incorrect techniques. The older sisters; Nardisa and Lynsella took the spotlight with their superior age and skill and left Syndela to soak up the remains. She was loved by her family, but often overshadowed by her older more mature siblings. This negelect would support why Syndela had a mischief streak, often deviating from the norm to perhaps get a few extra words. -A new generation of dancers to carry on the old ways of tradition. - As years wore on and the sisters matured did Syndela's true colours shone through. While her siblings sought to carry on with their studies and become reckognised within the Symenstrian city, the now adolescent Syndela took focus of another topic; bladework. Daggers and swords shealthed in their scabbards were the folly prized from human corpses and often sold on the markets at a low price. The strange metal tools though alien to the young female drew her insatible curiousity and planted a seed deep within her womb of knowledge to further investigation. The way the metal was crude, sharp yet so light...the way it reflected the image of her face and eyes as she traced along it's shaft. Of course, such ways were unheard of in their society. Being so frail and unable to deal with battering made the blades a tool only to be used in households, to perhaps cut meat or chop off the spindals of a rooted vegetable before being injected with venom. Human's technology set aflame her desire to learn more, and eventually ushered her to adventure beyond the caves and chasms. Syndela travelled and scouted the forests at night where roads and paths crossed through the undergrowth. She was young, foolish and mostly too masculine for her own good in the eyes of her strict mother and siblings. But she did not care nor falter at their cunning words, she wanted more. Until one night, she saw it. The figure of a human in blue robes who carried a stick with one hand and a lantern in the other. He was accompanied by a whisking wind of glittering dust, a familiar who flew at his side most likely for protection. The smaller figure of the child could see well in the moonlight, and the sight of the man coaxed the curiously that was left unabated. As he stopped and turned, the young girl came to stand and greet him. That was as far as her memory would allow. The event that unfolded was brief but nonetheless, tragic. Not much can be remembered from the moment that ushered between the two, yet the consequences of such foolish trust came in the form of a curse. A curse that would wield her family to abandon her out of shame. A curse that would render her womb useless and prove the female infertile. Something that would truly bring ruin to a woman whose society depended on her so much to carry the bloodline. After the exile from her family, Syndela found comfort where she could be staking her skills in dance at venues and markets. Developing a common distaste for humans was what drew her to hunt in their cities, braving aligations of assault and murder by travel. Past occurances are left out of tongue from the young woman, the tales sore and uncertain. Albeit the rest of her memories lay dormant within her mind, reminding just how savage the world is and how one must adapt to survive. - When it seemed to be the end, it was only but the beginning - Training (Skills, Arcana, Gnosis, Lore) ♦ Acrobatics | 22 / 100 ♦ Dance | 20 / 100 ♦ Knife Wielding | 16 / 100 ♦ Intelligence | 5 / 100 ♦ Climbing | 2 /100 ♦ Stealth | 3 / 100 ◘ Lore of Aerobatical Aerial Dance - Racial ◘ Lore of Handling and Usage of Daggers -Gained Lores- ◘ Practice of Placing Trust ◘ Findging a common enemy ◘ Lore of Hunting hunters ◘ Lore of Lurking ◘ Observation of Dhani transformation ◘ Trial and Error by Teamwork ◘ Exploring Self confidence Contacts and Relations Ssafirsotibones - Aquiatence - Neutral Rafaelle - Contact - Neutral Equipment and Possessions -Starters Pack- 1 Set of Clothing (cloak/coat included, no footwear) 1 Waterskin 1 Backpack which contains: 1 Set of Toiletries (comb, brush, razor, soap) A small tightened pouch filled with a stew. 1 eating knife Flint & Steel -Additional- 1 Silk Ribbon 1 Dancing Outfit - Full body suit that curls around a humanoid frame and stretches to fit size.
