Today I will try to get caught up with posts, since I exclusively focused on the city description yesterday. However, I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished – there are only 4 or so sections left! After hopefully scratching out most of the posts, I’ll continue working on it. I think the first draft will be ready to be posted today or tomorrow. Yay! This is something I wanted to do ever since I got DS, so it’s a very important step for me and the development of Mura.

In other news, I’m trying to find the voice of my Konti character Avayra. I started her with a concept in mind that turned out to be wrong … and now I have a few ideas (thanks to Sam!) that I have to test. But I think that sooner or later she will let me know what she wants to be and if the ideas I came up with are good for her.

Okay, now that Mura is done I can concentrate on my PCs for a while. Apparently everyone has decided to post at the same time for Malia, so ... there are quite some posts to do. Apart from that, I want to take a step back from my RPG obsession and instead do something for my own project and relax a bit which might result in slower posting, but it's worth that for me.

By the way, I'm already longing for the next article ... It's true, the Wiki is addicting.

Sometimes, as much as RPGs can be a helpful and inspiring creative outlet, we do need time to do our own things... I've felt that, too!

Sure you can. I've started to write a novel for NaNoWriMo in November and I'm still working on it, although I haven't come far since NaNo has finished. But I'm determined to finish this, it's my first and longest novel ever!

And yes, writing on your own is a totally different experience than writing RPG. I tend to switch back and forth between the two. ^^°

I was just reading up on NaNo this year, and fascinated by it. It looks really amazing. Obviously you got something great out of it.

I’m very happy because I just wrote more than 2,000 words for my novel! That’s the first step of getting back to the activity of NaNo days. Or almost.

Quick Note: I haven't had access to the Internet for the last three days, because there has been a problem with the laptop. It's still not 100% cleared, but at least the screen doesn't freeze every 10 minutes anymore ... There are a few school issues I have to do first, so there won't be time to post, probably until the weekend. If I disappear again in the next few days, you know why.

I hope to get caught up and do some Mura work at the weekend. And as good as the unexpected break from Miza has been, I'm glad to be back.
