Eagle Appearance: In his animal form, Isaac comes across as a regular, abit large, golden eagle. His wings are expansive and reveal what a beautiful bird he really is. His eyes are also abnormally large for the bird’s skull, and remain the same color as his human form – a piercing blue. |
Character Concept Isaac has a kind-hearted nature. He is hard working, and enjoys being outdoors. He has developed keen senses in both his human form and animal state which has allowed him to become an excellent fishermen and hunter. He is also very loyal to those he considers friends and family, which only consist of the human, Alphonse, his master/brother. The Kelvic does not travel much outside of the surrounding area of Syliras, and knows the area very well. The Kelvic enjoys following Alphonse around as he travels the city daily, and interacting with the people he does. Though Isaac can be found in a bar more often then not, he does not like to drink. He only goes to keep an eye on Alphonse who is the exact opposite. Generally, Isaac is generally conversational and nice to everyone unless they present a threat to either himself or Alphonse. He enjoys learning, though often is remarked as being a bit slow due to the fact that he cannot read nor write. He has found his way around without. If Isaac strays from his human brother, he is often found in either the market place or at one of the schools. He has a deep-seeded want to learn to be on the level of Alphonse and the other humans in the respect of being able to read, write, and understand things above survival and protective needs. In a completely unrelated note, Isaac as a bit of a obsession with cooking, though he does not know how to do much yet, it is another thing he wants to learn. There is also a burning desire for Isaac to leave Syliras, but the problem is his brother depends on him. This is the only reason he stays in the city. Though he makes no qualms about voicing his discontent with the overcrowding and smell. |
Character History Pre-RP History: Isaac’s life began on a somber note, while his father was unknown. His mother died during childbirth, and by that chance the mother’s master adopted the Kelvic baby as her own. The mother’s master was a human named Julian Kane, who had a young son himself whose name, was Alphonse. The mixed race family lived in a small apartment in Syliras, one that normally housed just one person. The Kane family was not a very rich one; Julian worked as a bartender in one of the taverns, and often on his days off would take young Alphonse and Isaac out for hunting and fishing trips. Due to the death of his parents, Isaac only had a leather necklace with a metal eagle trinket to remember them by, and was more or less raised by the human family. This is one of the main reasons why Isaac often refers to Alphonse as his older brother, not his master, and Julian as his father. Julian died when Isaac turned 3, Alphonse was 13, and the human was only 52. It was a sad time for both the brothers, and a time of great change as well. Isaac’s ownership was passed down to Alphonse in this sense, but the Kelvic thought it was more his duty to watch, protect, and take care of Alphonse instead of being the kid’s servant. The tension began to grow between the boys simply for this reason, plus the added fact that Isaac never really cared for life in Syliras, feeling as though it was too crowded. He liked being outside far more often than not outside fishing or hunting. The troubling events and rising of tension did not end there though. Not even a year later there was an incident involving Alphonse getting severely injured. It ended with his human brother becoming handicapped, with a gimp leg and not being able to walk or stand up straight for more than a few minutes at a time without assistance. Isaac was needed now more than ever, and he was willing to give himself to Alphonse for this reason, but the human, who was 14 then, butted against the new dependency that he had on the Kelvic. The two argued more, and spent more time apart than they had before. Right now the two’s relationship is on thin ice at best; Isaac is in the process of looking for a stable job for further income. He is also looking for ways to better him particularly in the art of cooking, reading, and writing. His rationale being that if he could be more like a human in the scholarly sense, and then he could find a job easier. RP History: |
Family/Relationships Name: Alphonse Kane Race: Human Age: 16 Gender: Male Relationship: Brother/Master Appearance: Alphonse, if he could stand at his full height, would come in at about 5 feet and 10 inches, but since his incident that rendered his legs only half working at best, he can very rarely stand completely up straight, even for short periods of time. Since the accident was fairly recent the sixteen year old lost most of his leg muscles, but still is fairly toned everywhere else. The kid also has a strong jawline, with fitting strong and charming features. His eyes are a piercing green, while his short spiky hair is a dirty blonde. Alphonse wears cloths similar to Isaac in that there is usually a pair of loose fitting pants involved, a t-shirt and coat, often being a trench coat. The kid likes to have darker clothing on than his younger brother/servant. His walking stick is pretty plain, but thick all the way around, made with strong wood, due to the fact that Alphonse has broken a couple in the first months since his injury due to leaning on them too heavily. Personality: Alphonse is a cocky individual, even with his disability. He has a tendency to make certain that every one knows that –he- is in the room, and he will be heard. While this outgoing nature is good and fun, the kid also has some deep insecurities, the main one being about his so called sibling. His father told him that Isaac was his brother, but in Alphonse’s opinion that’s not true. The two of them are different species, and from what he has learned about Kelvics is that they are suppose to be slaves and servants, the lot of them. This is why he treats Isaac with some tension and terse responses, though the guy did save his life and he is semi-grateful for that. Alphonse still does not realize how much Isaac loves him and treats him as family, how much the other depends on him. The other part of it is, now that he has to spend the rest of his life disabled, he envies Isaac and is jealous of him. Alphonse always had been jealous of the other simply because he could transform into this beautiful eagle, but now it was even worse because not only could he transform, Isaac could walk and run and do all of that and a bag of chips. Things Alphonse use to be able to do, but now cannot – which makes his survival dependent upon the Kelvic. He is generally nice around most people, but many can sense the distancing between Alphonse and Isaac, and his want to be independent of the Kelvic. Alphonse is also a bit of a drinker, he gets into far too much trouble for his own good, and is generally a rebellious teenager in mind set. With having many anger, abandonment, and depression issues with the fact that his father died, and Isaac being his constant and only companion for the most part. |
