He always liked it in this area, where father use to take him with Alphonse for training in hunting and tracking. The Bronze Woods, while dangerous at times, held most of his most memorable occurrences.

“Isaac!” Alphonse growled in a frustrated manner, his legs not being able to traverse the landscape as his legs once had. Isaac swooped down and perched himself on the 16 year old boy’s shoulder watching him. He couldn’t exactly speak to his brother in this form.

“I know you are having a blast, but seriously.” Alphonse stated. The eagle form brushed his much smaller head against his younger brothers’ chin in understanding. A moment later, with a flutter of the large set of wings the eagle hovered upwards then back letting his wings cover up the rest of his body as he transformed.

It was always an amazing thing from an outside perspective to watch a Kelvic switch between their human and animal form, and for Alphonse watching Isaac it was no different in most points.

Losing a couple feathers in the process, ones that did not matter too much in his flight ability, the Kelvic returned to his human form. There was a soft thud, thud, as the soles of his shoes hit the grassy earth.

“How you ever managed to convince me to come here, I don’t know.” Alphonse was in a bad mood. The Kelvic chuckled, his blue eyes adjusting to the height change as he felt the soft chill of a breeze pass through him as he moved forward. Spots of sunlight shone through the leaves, making a beautiful pattern on the ground in the early morning.

“Because, Brother, you use to enjoy the Sukina Geysers as much as I still do, and it is a nice change of pace to get away from that smelly old town and our tiny room.” Isaac spoke with the wisdom of their late father who encouraged the two to be outside as much as possible.

“That was before my legs became all but useless!" A much louder tone than before, Isaac was beginning to think that they might as well just turn back and head back into town where the sixteen year old human could traverse more easily on his own.

“We are almost there?” Isaac pleaded, as much as he thought it was wise to turn back and not tempt the boy’s anger any longer, the Kelvic enjoyed every second he had being outside in any setting outside the city walls.

“We are not, and you know it.” Alphonse hissed his emerald eyes locking onto Isaac’s blue ones - the staring contest had begun. The Kelvic was about to give in after a few moments with a deep sigh, but he was interrupted by some noises notifying him that someone or something was there.
