Knight Training (Fraha)

[Jaelyn Baroth]

As Jaelyn's head began to recover from the ringing of Fraha's kick she heard the woman call out, and any thoughts of continuing the spar left her head. Quickly she dropped her shield and pulled off her helmet, and when she saw the blood coming from Fraha's head she gave a soft gasp and quickly moved to her side, "Oh! I am sorry Fraha!"

Quickly Jaelyn pulled off her gauntlets and began unbuckling her breastplate, setting them aside, and then pulling up her chainmail to reveal her tunic underneath, "Do you have any bandages on you?" assuming that the answer was no, not many carried bandages with them, she started to tear off a strip of the fabric, using her sword to start it before carefully putting the treasured blade aside on top of her armor, "It does not look too bad, but it would be best to help stop the bleeding."

Once she had the strip of cloth free she leaned forward and, assuming Fraha allowed her to, began to wrap the fabric around her head tightly so as to help stop the bleeding.

Lying on the ground with the head spinning wasn't fun, but Fraha laughed at Jealyn's raection, which was from her point of view exagerated. No, just this evening I didn't bring any sorry said she giggling. It was wierd to see her without the armor, she actually had a nice body, and was more busty than Fraha too, which made her smile again for noticing that in first. I understand that this situation might be romantic but we just met, there's no need to undress this fast Said she looking serious but hiding a vein of irony. As she started to wrap the fabric, Fraha raised the head to help, it hurted but wasn't even that bothering anymore. Meanwhile it had become darker, and Fraha wondered for how long did they spare and who actually won, but therefore, was there supposed to be a winner? Probably not. Fraha stood silent after that teasing sentence to wait Jaelyn's reaction, she wanted to see how was she out of a concentrated context

At first Jaelyn didn't quite understand what Fraha meant with her teasing, and so she stared at the woman in confusion. When she finally did realize her eyes widened and her cheeks burst red with a brilliant blush, "I was... I had... I only," she stammered for a bit, and then gave a small shake of her head to clear her thoughts, "I just wanted to quickly get a bandage for your head, and my tunic was the quickest thing I could think of. I certainly was not trying to imply anything else..."

Not that she didn't find Fraha attractive, she certainly thought the woman was much more beautiful and graceful than herself, but she'd barely even contemplated being romantic with boys at this point, much less girls! Unsure what else to say she instead silently focused on finishing the bandaging of Fraha's head. When she finished she had finally found her voice again, and softly said, "There, that should help. You should probably leave it on for a while until the bleeding has completely stopped."

Fraha's Eybrows raised and she gave a wide smirk when she noticed Jaelyn's sudden embarrassement. There was something in it, Fraha just couldn't understand what. Before Jealyn spoke again Fraha thought about that lost reaction. A serious person wouldn't get the joke or get it but ignored, a rude one would react badly, an amusing person would most likely laugh while an Ironic person would answer for the rhymes. But she blushed and blabbed, which to Fraha was an unexlpainable raection. Wierd though It looked like a shy one. Did Fraha hit a special spot? When Jaelyn spoke again she was justifying herself, this wasn't the first time she was having that attitude. Fraha started to wonder wheter she was serious or maybe joking? Curiosity hit her like a legion of knights, she wanted to explore the unknown land of Jaelyn's mind. But how? Sje couldn't just ask things like that...well she could but previous episodes reminded her that this may be...unlikely. Then Jealyn spoke again. She was thoughtfull, without reason, maybe she was feeling guilty but why? It was a spar and such things happen. Maybe she simply was that kind of person...or maybe there was something more. So Fraha's mind started processing possible ways to discouver. How? Facts, from the conversation with Oratio she had learned to search them and rely on them. Facts, in this case meant reactions, things that had happened. She smiled at her Thank's, you're so thoughtful said she softly as her hand slowly moved to reach her's we had a good one this evening, I really liked our...time together, it was revealing said Fraha with a confident tone while Jealyn's hand was mooved in a mix of caressing her hand and shaking it at the same time. Her eyes were watching Jealyn's and her mind was concentrated on her.

Fraha's compliment did little to help Jaelyn's blush die down, and she gave a soft smile to the woman in reply, "I only do what would be expected of a Knight, but thank you."

As Fraha took Jaelyn's hand there was something about the way the other woman's fingers moved against Jaelyn's hand, the tone of her voice, that caused a flutter of nervousness in Jaelyn's stomach. Her smile definitely shifted towards a more shy one as she softly replied, "It was a good training, thank you Fraha. You helped me learn a lot, and I enjoyed it too."

Deep down Jaelyn wondered if perhaps Fraha was perhaps attracted to her. She wasn't entirely sure how she would feel about such a thing, but she knew it didn't repulse her. Maybe the woman was just being very friendly? It felt like it'd be very rude and uncomfortable to ask though. Hints of confusion could be seen on her face as she tried to figure out not only what was going on, but her own feelings as well.

"Perhaps, we should head back within the walls?" she finally asked, deciding to put off thinking too much about the events of the night until later, "Do you think you can stand well, or would you like some help?"

Keeping her eyes focused on her face with a dizzy expression Fraha could tell that her question did something. She could see a slight change of her smile, the cheeks were slightly more tended than before and the eyes closed a but more revealing some sort of hesitation but Fraha couldn't tell it was shyness. Her words however confused her a bit, she spoke about training, didn't she catch the hidden message? Or was she ignoring it on purpose? Her only hint were Jaelyn's eyes looking slightly away, in sign of probable confusion, but still she couldn't guess what has she done. Still she seemed a very cute person, nice and cute, and Fraha was pretty sure about it since Jaelyn had no reason to wear a mask with Fraha....right? "It's a good idea" answered Fraha after smiling widely at Jealyn's reaction. Fraha had touched a spot in Jaelyn's mind but only the surface, she wanted to go deeper. Nothing against her, the last thing she wanted was to piss off such a nice person, it was more of a self developement not to speak of the curiosity Fraha had inside. However Fraha didn't consider her own feelings in the given situation, it had yet to come. "Yeah I'm fine, it's just a scratch right?" giggled she as her right hand touched the ground to stand up. But as she stood up tall on her legs, her head, still a bit shaking started to spin. Such a sudden blood flow and quick stand up was too much so after a half second Fraha could feel a great spin coming from upon her eyes which made her stagger back silently. The head was spinning badly so her body decided to fall down resulting Fraha to land on her butt with a lost expression on her face. After a moment of silence she giggled not wanting to alarm Jaelyn "ok,now let's try again slowly."

*whew!* That one was a doozy. Sorry for the wait! I'd be careful about overplaying your skills: A novice would have difficulty doing much of anything, and flying kicks are out of the question.
