[Daekos Volundur]

Daekos, not knowing what exactly to look out for in his desired companion, decided to wing it and see which one was more... Well, there had to be something different. He sat down in front of the dogs, waiting for their reactions.

The Deerstalker moved first, sniffing at the Isur before moving away, apparently unwilling to even be close to Daekos. The other two, however, had rather interesting reactions.

The Imperial Watcher, after a few cursory sniffs at the outstretched hand, started to chew on it, apparently taking it to be some sort of food. Thankfully, it was his black left arm, and he felt only a slight ticklish sensation. Before he had time to get miffed, the Ghost pounced onto the unsuspecting Isur, knocking him to the floor.

This one's quite affectionate!

As he rolled around with the dogs on the floor of the kennels, Daekos could not keep himself from bursting out with laughter. Here he was, a proud Isur of the Pitrius clan, wrestling with a dog that seemed to be everywhere at once, tickling him all over with its fur, with another dog, who was treating his hand like it's personal chewtoy.

Who would have thought that the hand of an Isur would be an excellent substitute to a bone for dogs to chew on?

Finally releasing himself from the two dogs, Daekos stood up, brushing straw and dirt from his clothes.

I haven't had such a laugh since... Well, some time. This was a good decision, coming here and all that. I need someone to keep my mind off... depressing matters, and this one's perfect.

"I'll have the Ghost. It's a shame to leave the Watcher behind, but I'd rather not have him chew on my hand all the time." Daekos made an uncharacteristic chuckle. Taking out his moneypouch, Daekos counted out fifty gold mizas and passed them to Vanator.

"Thank you for helping me. If you need something forged, look for me at the Arma'Dex Smithy - I'll be working there until mid-season. I can't get you anything for free, but I can give you a discount. Come on then... Hundwin."

The newly-named Jivatakus Ghost Dog bounded after his new master, once again attempting to be overly affectionate.

Vanator watched Daekos interact with the dogs, hiding a grin as the Imperial took hold of the curious black metallic arm of the Isurian. It did not take long for the visitor to make a selection, and the two of them walked out of the kennel with the Ghost on a temporary leash. Van collected the price of the hound, jogged up to the clinic to jot out a receipt for the purchase, and returned to the courtyard.

"Take good care of him," Van instructed as he pet the dog, not indicating whether he was speaking to the hound or its new owner. "And I am a regular customer at the Arma'Dex Smithy, I am sure we will cross paths." The Drykas removed the leash, seeing the dog was already taken with the stranger. "Take care."
