37th of Spring, 511 AV Barely into the night, Alvina had found herself sitting at a bar in the Stanger's Welcome inn, having deciding to come inside on impulse while she was walking by. It wasn't very late yet, but in Alvina's eyes, there was already quite a loud commotion, people shouting for drinks every which way. Although her pale appearance definitely stood out from the crowd, only those who were sober would notice her, and that meant she was blending in quite easily. However, she was starting to feel the dense concentration of activity inside the inn to make her feel a little constricted, the low ceilings and constant movement around to be rather suffocating. She was not used to being enclosed in small spaces with a large numbers of people, and even though she had intended on ordering a drink or two, she found herself on her way outside, slipping through the party-goers unnoticed. Standing right outside the inn, she took a breath of fresh air, the humidity and smell of the nearby ocean being much more welcome than the smell of sweat and alcohol. Her hand close to her chest as though feeling the movement of her lungs helped her breathe, Alvina looked down at herself, wondering if she should just call it a night and head back to her lodging. |
