When you read the book, it might seem as if you have picked it out of a series, by how in depth the world is, but everything gets explained to you. It focuses on a girl who spent her life mastering this magic of forgery where she can basically change whatever she wants into whatever she wants. The book starts when she is captured by the kingdom for forging a very famous piece of art. In exchange for her life, she is supposed to forge a new should for the emperor who is brain-dead for some reason. There's a lot of political intrigue and stuff. I'm a crappy reviewer/summarizer, so I attached the blurb on the back and hope that helps. :/
