Lorne Mateisaen Basic Information Race: Human Birthday & Age : Spring 13, 492 AV & 19 Gender: Male Physical Description Lorne is a lean young man with a build more akin to a track runner than wrestler. He is average in his height, and is relatively healthy, despite his circumstances. There is an air of mischievousness to him, that reflects in his blue eyes even during his calmest moments. He holds a certain gangly awkwardness typical of young men growing into themselves. Still, Lorne is graceful enough, and his moves hold a measured carefulness. Atop his head are masses of tangled curls, which vary in color from a rich red to a strawberry blonde, depending on the amounts of time he spends in the sun, or the season. He doesn't tend much to his curls, and as a result of where he often sleeps, he generally has straw or twigs sticking out of his strands of hair. The only time he fusses over his hair is when he's going home to see his mother, her husband, and their brood of children, and only then because his step-father would spill a gut if he saw Lorne so messy. His features are fine and angular, with a sensual, red mouth and doelike, laughing eyes. There is a childlike quality to his features, but they hold a look about them that speaks bounds of the world he knows so very well. His eyes speak of an young soul eager to learn and know the world. There are few distinctive marks on Lorne's body, save for a brand on his wrist. He covers this mark at all times, and will, under no circumstances, show it to anyone. The brand consists of a crude, homemade mark, in a “x” shape. This mark was a gift from his stepfather upon finding out that Lorne had stolen fruit on one of his outings. Character Concept Lorne is, first and foremost, independent. He has, over the years, become fiercely so, to the point of fighting and lashing out against anything that threatens that independence. He likes to provide for and fend for himself.
