Vyxenne sat in a chair attempting to read a book, (She could barely read, mind you) when she heard shouting and saw the Vantha, what was her name, Eira?, walk into the room the human was in. She put down the book and went over the past events in her head.

The sequence seemed all too familiar. She was confused. Why was it so familiar? She sat there thinking about where she saw that before. No, she couldn't place it. She had no idea about where or when or how that could have occured. Doesn't matter.
She thought about the human she rescued. Did he even know that a girl rescued him? Anything could have rescued him. She doubted he knew that she was a Kelvic.
Her hair was still soaking wet from the water, and so were her clothes. She shivered, and walked into the room that the human was in. She walked over to the bed he was lying on, and inspected his face. It was twisted in a pained look, but even then she could tell that he has had a rough life. His messy blonde hair, once again, reminded her of her father. His face was covered in stubble, and that reminded her of one of the human boys she used to hang out with. That is, until they left. Thinking of her old friends brought tears to her eyes, and before she knew it, she was sitting on the floor crying. 'Why did they have to go?' she thought. The healer walked in, and thinking that something was wrong with the human, rushed over, only to find out he was perfectly fine. Of course, the healer and the Vantha ignored Vyxenne, because they were more worried about the injured human. She stood up and sneaked out of the healer's shop, and ran into an alley. Hiding in the shadows, she took off her clothes, (not wanting to damage them) shoved them in her bag, shifted into a Swift Fox and ran down the street and away from the smell of blood.
