"Well I think you would be suited within the walls, helping to patrol the docks. I'll assign you to Bradshaw Laxod. He's an older Knight, and I think he could guide you well." He didn't say a word afterwards, instead the old Knight went to work writing down the man's information for the records that he kept. "Alright then, you are now a squire. I will send a message to Ser Laxod and have him meet with you."

The senior knight nodded and waved his hand to the woman, and took to another parchment bill so that he could write down her information. "I will assign you to a patron that patrols the Bronze Woods, Sera Hawkins. I will send for her to meet with you by the dorms."

Akilia 48th of Spring 513 AV Akilia walked into the place thinking, always thinking. Wouldn't it be better for her to be trained and prepared before setting off on the journey to find her mother? It would be a sad day indeed to come to the rescue then fail miserably. Maybe if she joined the knights, in exchange for her loyalty and whatnot, she would be rewarded with the skills to fight. A greater chance to find and free her mother once she began the search. So with that in mind she approached the old man, giving him a nervous smile. What if I'm turned away? She wondered before clearing her throat to speak, her eyes darted curiously at the man's missing limb. I wonder where his arm went... she thought distracted those blue eyes looking at the arm for a second too long, then pulling them away from the man's interesting feature and looking up to his face, "Am I at the correct place to apply to be a squire for the Slyrian knights? I'm Akilia Dosert, a Kelvic." She wondered briefly weather or not she should have revealed her identity to the guy right away, but mentally shrugged, maybe it would show some type of good quality she lacked. Though she looked like a child, it wouldn't be for long, each day she was growing and by summer she would no doubt look fifteen instead of her current twelve.

Another day, more coin, and the chance to make a difference in the life of a person. The old Knight was in a spirited mood this day, mostly because he was eating a healthy snack. When the young woman walked in, he placed the half eaten fruit onto the table and waved her forward. Akilia Dosert-a kelvic, as she introduced herself to be.

"I haven't gotten a kelvic in here in a while, welcome. So since you've already mentioned it, what form do you take. You know young one, why not just tell me about yourself and why you wish to join the order?"

Akilia Being waved over by the old guy, Akilia stepped forward glancing at the fruit he had just set aside. Then came the questions... "I'm a wolf Kelvic, I turn one in the summer and I want to join because I want somewhere to belong, I'm tired of being alone..." She said shuffling her feet a little but keeping eye contact. It was partically true. "Also there is someone I have to find. And I don't have the skills to do it, if I join...maybe I will."

Well there are things to do in the city if you're just looking for a place to belong, and there are surely people around who could help you in your search for..whomever it is you look to locate. I only say this because you are so young, you're still a pup, are you sure this is the life for you..it's not easy."

Akilia "Nothing in my experiance easy." Akilia replied. "And if I've survived this far." She shrugged. "I'm pretty sure I can go the distance the rest of the way. I'm a fast learner I think I can handle whatever you throw at me."

"I see, yes.." He said as she finished. The girl had spunk, she had fire and passion. But she also didn't answer his question either. "I can see that you are strong willed, but are you telling me that you're joining the order to make a few friends and find the location of a person? I'm also curious to know what you can offer us?"

Akilia The man wasn't a fool. A major downside for Akilia she was hoping she just avoid his question with an answer that really didn't apply to what he'd asked. Power, that's what knights had right? Well she wanted some too, and the title of Knight didn't sound too shabby either, but she doubted if she said that, only an idiot would sign her up. So she thought about that question, what was in it for them? "I'm loyal to the bone and am naturally a fast learner. I can offer you a girl who can hold her own in unarmed combat, change from human to wolf and back, not to mention I've already bonded to the order in a way, my bondmate Kisetukai Yamehaka is a squire. And I would be happy to serve you as much as I serve him." She replied in a level tone of determination. She had bonded to Kise the day before and promised him she would join the order he served...or try to.

Alabast stepped into the recruitment office with eyes wide. Today was the day he started his journey to knight hood. The young hunter walked up to the counter and placed his hand on it, and looked up at the ruddy complected man behind it. "Hello Sir," he began respectfully "I'm here to pledge my self to the knights. I was told this is the place to do it?" He looked at he man hopefully, and then tacked on some qualifications. "I'm not a bad shot with a bow. And I've hunted just about everything in these parts."
