Fallon's eyes grew as big as saucers she saw the knife. "Woah, hey now! No need for that thing!" she exclaimed in surprise, holding her hands up and taking a step back. A tiny trickle of fear leaked into her heart, but only a little. The man, or boy really, now that she thought about it, wasn't exactly intimidating. His weapon, however, was another story. "Surely we can just talk this out, right?" Her voice rose a few octaves, bordering on desperation. Shyke, she was way past desperate! "What do you want for the ring? Money? I have plenty of money. Please, just give me my ring back. I won't bother you again! Please!" Belatedly, she realized she just gave him another reason to rob her, but the thought was fleeting; overpowered by her desperate state of mind. Fallon must have been a pathetic sight, but she was beyond caring anymore. She would gladly make a fool of herself if it meant she got her ring back. DarikYeah, things got hectic there for a bit and I got overwhelmed by everything, so I had to just step away for a little while. But I have returned! Sorry if my MIA-ness caused any inconveniences. |
