Name: Kell Northwind
Race: Drykas
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Place of Birth: Sea of Grass
Diety: Zulrav
Personal Description:
At 5’ 10” and 173 pounds Kell is not a larger man. His body is highly toned and athletic, however he does not have a lot of muscle. This leads most folk to think he looks a bit lean. His skin tends to be a little on the pale side, though a large amount of time spent outdoors has given him a nice tan. Kell’s wind marks consist of a white tribal style tattoo that starts on the back of his left hand and snakes all the way up his arm to the shoulder. From there it spreads across his left breast and the left side of his upper back. His hair is light blonde and he keeps it cropped short, despite the cultural pressure to grow it out. He also wears a well trimmed goatee. Kells eyes are a sky blue.
Personality:
“It will all work out.” That could be Kell’s motto. Indeed, he tends to be care free and optimistic to a fault. He does what he feels like when he feels like it and doesn’t even stop to contemplate the consequences of his actions. This has occasionally gotten him into trouble with people and even the Law once or twice. But even while being run of by a farmer or chased by the guards, Kell will still have his lopsided grin stretched across his face. Similarly, insults tend to roll right off of Kell without leaving a mark. In fact Kell has lost his temper only three times in his entire life. When Kell’s temper does get the best of him it does not blaze hotly as one might expect. Kell’s anger is as cold and chilling as his namesake, sending shivers down those who witness it. When interacting with others, he tends to play the disarming fool, often going to great lengths to appear clumsy and slightly naive to the darker ways of the world. He would much rather use charisma and wit to defuse a situation than resorting to blows. When he does find himself in a serious fight, Kell drops the act, becoming focuses and controlled allowing his training to take over. This shift can happen in the blink of an eye, often momentarily perplexing those how witness it.
Ethics:
Kell's life has bestowed on him a very warped moral compass. Life as an outsider, and then as an outright outlaw has, out of necessity, given him a finders-keepers view of possession. While he would never rob or steal directly from someone, things left lying about have a tendency to find a way into his pockets or pack. Likewise, when passing through a city or county, he tends to ignore any laws that he feels he aren't convenient for him. Unless of course a guard happens to be watching. He is not without a strict code of honor though. He feels all life, people, animals, and to a lesser extent plants, is precious and thus should be preserved. However he does acknowledge that sometimes one must take a life, either in self defense or to eat. He is also fiercely loyal to his few friends and while he has no problem shrugging of insults to himself, he will violently defend his friends honor should he deem it necessary.
