50th of Summer, 511AV Tallandir listened to Bolden speak about his wish to be a strider and his love for them. Tallandir listened to Bolden's answer to his question of Riding skill, and was happy with his reply that was neither pessimistic or a statement of boasting. Tallandir was a good listener and heard all Bolden said and out of Bolden's statements, found nothing he disliked. Tallandir spoke again after hearing Bolden's last statement of "Like Strider, like rider". "Well, I think with Nightwind having a boisterous ego fits him well hahaha. And I suppose you're right, after all Augustus without his ego is like a man without his strider, or a man without his sword. Also, that's a good saying you have there Bolden. It's something unique to you that also makes you unique,as you always will be unique. Don't let the fact that stories are not told about you get you down or anger you as I doubt your half brother has something as meaningful, that is unique to him and only him. From the stories he seems more run of the mill to me then someone unique, such as yourself." Tallandir finished his statement and patted Bolden on the shoulder. And said as he was getting on his strider: "Well my friend, this talk of striders has made me want to ride, not to any place in particular, just to ride. If you want to join me feel free, you're good company after all." Tallandir, on his strider, looked at Bolden and examined him and, in a way, reminded Tallandir of himself at one time.
