Preparing for new travels (Laria, Sama'el)

Endrykas is a city you either hate or love. The almost never ending sea of tents and pavilions could be considered a refugee to some. But to the proud people of the Endrykas it was the opposite. It was their home, a moving city that welcomed anyone that were ready to respect it's customs, traditions and laws.

Delvan sat atop on Firemane, riding through the small passageways created by the space between the tents and Pavilions. The sun was shining with no clouds in sight, the high grass softly moved with the wind passing through, on top of a tent was a bird who's song could not be described as a simple tweet.
Yes, it looked like this was gonna be a good day.
Sheina's early excitement had come to an end. She was used to the people going about their business, working, socializing, living their lives. She stayed close to Delvan and Firemane like always, she knew better than to stray from her master.

Delvan wasn't sure where to go. The place he had lived for so long was now like somewhere he never had been before. This new freedom he were taught to long for was nothing more than overrated. It felt like he had been thrown into the sea to fend for himself. He could always go back to his father, but that would mean his quest to find a life of his own had all but failed. The passageways where getting wider, almost as if they made way for him.
Delvan stroked the sides of Firemane to signal him to stop. Firemane snorted annoyingly and came to a halt. Delvan decided to scout further for a place to go. Maybe he would find an Ankal who is in need of a hunter, or maybe a starving merchant out of money. That would atleast keep him a little busy for a day or two.

Preparing for new travels (Laria, Sama'el)

A young woman moved carefully between the various tents and Pavilions that made up Endrykas. She was leading a horse, a dapple-grey mare belonging to her father, saddled for riding, but she had not yet decided where she would go.

Laria had a good feeling about the day. The sun was bright in the endless expanse of clear blue sky, and simple, delicate birdsong rang out over the tent city. She planned to ride a little way from the city - not too far, she didn't want to get lost or hurt - and perhaps do some herb hunting. It had been a while since she had taken anything over to the medics of the Opal Clan and she felt she owed them for it.

The mare, Chell, whickered softly behind her. Chell pressed forward, towards something just ahead of the pair. It was another horse, no a Strider, and his rider. Laria rolled her eyes at the mare as she moved right into the riders path.

Laria stopped too, and looked up at the man apologetically.
"I'm so sorry."
She pulled on the mares rope. "Chell come here and stop being silly."
The mare snorted gently and tried to nose forward, but the woman held her back. Laria sighed and glanced at the rider again.
"Your Strider is wonderful, by the way. It seems Chell agrees." She shoved on the horses chest and the mare finally took a step back.
"Sorry again." She gave the man a smile and then paused.
"Are you going on a hunt?" She had noticed the longbow the rider had with him.

For a moment there, Delvan had no idea what to respond to the woman he just met. Then he remembered that he needed to find courage to actually talk to strangers. He shook his head and responded with what he would call a "smile":

-"N-not at all." Delvan stammered. -"Unlike me, Firemane is a peoples person."
Feeling a little embarrased, he still was content with what he had said. It felt like he broke the ice somehow. Firemane was as curious about the mare as the mare was curious about him. He leaned his head in diffrent angles to study it. Not wanting Firemane to get too intrested in the mare, he would stroke his shiny black mane to get his attention away from the mare.

Sheina wagged her tail and gave out a bark in excitement. Like always, she was glad to meet new people. She would circle the mare to inspect it further. Delvan did not tell her not to though, he knew she wouldn't be bothering it for but a few seconds before returning to his side.

As the woman asked him if he was going out to hunt he couldn't help but shuckle.
-"Perhaps, if I don't get work to pay for my meat, I'll have to get it myself. It's cheap, but dangerous."

His smile was somewhat awkward, Laria could see that from his smile. It was almost as if her were forcing himself to do it. Her thoughts were reinforced as he stammered his words. Laria kept the smile upon her face. She knew that some people simply weren't social, and she didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Her gaze flicked to the horse Firemane. It was a curious name for such a creature, considering the horses actual mane was a shiny, charcoal black. He seemed rather interested in Chell, and the mare seemed to know it. She raised her head in a 'look at me!' way, and reached out to the Strider again. Laria kept a firm hold on her reins, making sure that the mare didn't try and step forward again.

"I expect it is dangerous. You have to go into glassbeak territory I presume?"
The woman had never been on a hunt before, she was unskilled in pretty much anything involving combat. Give her a horse, and she could train it not to shy from a fight, but put her on one with a bow and disaster was sure to ensue.
"Would you go alone?"

Delvan wen't quiet for a second, thinking carefully over his answer. The girl looked quite friendly but he was still insecure. He always needed time to spend with that particular person in order for his insecurity to vanish.

-"Not really, I usually hunt small game." He said and chuckled to himself. Once again he smiled, but not as nervous as before. Delvan gazed at the entrance to the city as the girl asked him:

-"Would you go alone?
He kept his eyes on the horizon for a second, almost as if scouting it. Firemane looked the same way, as if helping him. The sun hadn't reached it yet and above it was clear blue sky and below the dancing grass. After a moment of silence he then turned to the stranger girl again.
-"Usually thats the case. Assuming you mean no people are present." He said, and it was true. In fact, the only one who's ever hunted with Delvan was his father in his younger days, now he only had Sheina and Firemane with him.
