Jerico’s usual garb consist of a dark leather vest over a long sleeved cotton shirt with a pair of rough leather pants. With shoes he usually has a pair of simple leather shoes handy. The only other way to spot Jerico form a crowd is that he carries his father’s mandolin everywhere he goes. Usually by a leather strap across his back or in hand.

Concept
Jerico is the kind of person that could be put in any situation and at any given time or place could find something funny about it, no matter how dark or sadistic it may be. It is a very rare sight to find him without a smile dancing on his lips. From an early age he learned that the easy way to accept something was to just go with the flow.

If something happened, what’s next? That was Jerico’s motto. He learned to stop crying and grieving over things I the past and focused on moving forward. Not that he doesn’t care when something happens, he just doesn’t feel the need to make a big deal about anything.

History
Jerico was a very active child, at an early age he crowded his father, always wanting attention and to learn from him. From the beginning it was clear he was his father’s child, there were few things that he had in common with his mother and for some odd reason there always seemed to be some distance between them. When it came to children of his own age the closest friend he had was Canali, his cousin.

Growing up was particularly hard for Jerico, his closest friend was his cousin who moved around Sunberth a lot. His mother started with a mistrust of the two and was uneasy about Jerico seeing them at all, this was because when Canali was born her sister died after giving birth to her. She didn’t like Canali or her father and greatly disapproved of Jerico being around them. When Canali’s drug running came to light Jerico stopped hanging around with her. He kept to himself and learned to play the mandolin under his father’s guidance.

Years later Jerico’s mother passed away and his father fell into depression. Between taking care of his dad and making sure the two had enough to eat Jerico had little time for anything else. After his mother’s death he had learned to just go with the flow, something his father had always told him to do. Within a year his father passed as well, leaving Jerico alone.

The only thing he had left was their house, his clothes, and his mandolin. For almost a month he did little but stare out the window and watch the world move around him. Fear of ending up like his father pushed him to get out and practice his skills as a minstrel. After a few nights of playing at local taverns he learned that in a town like Sunberth, all a person needed was a song or a happy chat to brighten up their day.

Nowadays Jerico is on his own and doing well. He does some small odd jobs and often goes to taverns late at night to earn a few mizas as a minstrel with the mandolin he received from his father before he passed, though another lesson taught to him by the streets of Sunberth, was that drunks often forgot to tip and usually don’t remember their pockets being emptied as well. Not that he’d ever stoop to something as low as pick pocketing, unless of course the person in question was a rude drunk that made fun of his music.
