Kelvic help

Postby Jason Alexander on February 2nd, 2010, 3:00 pm

Okay so i wish my Player to be a Kelvic mixed blood (thats possible right). So with saying that could my Kelvic form be some similar to a *glup* werewolf? Jw. Since he is part human and Kelvic wouldnt that work that his Kelvic form be human and wolf?

I'm nobody important but I'm pretty sure the Kelvic lore page is pretty specific about not allowing partial transformations. But then I'm new and all that so I'll let the almighty important folk provide the officiate answer.

Unfortunately there is no form in between human and animal it is one or the other.
I believe though that you can use morphing (if you dedicate skill points to it) to have some wolf like features in human form.

Hmm Longfang hmm? I wonder if you know of an Arturo Coyote Kelvic... -.^

I think the closest thing to a werewolf looking being would to be a full Kelvic. Being mixed doesn't necessarily mean you can have animal like characteristics. Maybe full canine teeth but that is about it for a half blood Kelvic. At least that is my understanding.

What hex says is true.

A Kelvic is either human or animal. It can never be a combination of the two unless it knows morphing.
The world can make you think that everything matters. But all that really matters is that the sun rises and you enjoy what you're given.

I would look up morphing, for sure. It is a school of magic that may be somewhat akin to what you are looking for. Morphing link right thar.

Kelvics cannot be Mixed Blood because Kelvics aren't a race really, they are a genetic mutation. So, either the player is fully human that carries the kelvic gene or they are a full blown Kelvic. There are no halfs. And also, the kelvic factor doesn't crop up in mixed bloods or other races, so you'll never have say a kelvic Symenestra for example.

Also, there are no half forms. The writeup is clear with that. Though, Kelvics do have some animalistic features (unusual eye color, elongated or sharp teeth, natural grace). We've got multiple help desk tickets requesting furry ears, tails, dog legs, etc... each one we've flat out said no. :)

There are no kelvic mixed breeds. You either are kelvic or you aren't. So, no you cannot have one. People have repeatedly said this in this thread. Please read carefully and listen.

Spiritism is the ability to summon, communicate, and control ghosts.
