“Yeah,” Keating agreed, watching as Andry stood. The farmer didn’t offer more. He didn’t say if they met again, that maybe things would be better… for both of them, or that maybe by then he’d be back at the farm and Andry’d be doing something that fit with his own dreams, instead of his fathers. Keating Ash knew better. The world kept going whether he wanted it to or not, with never a mind to what he wanted or what was right. And the gods toyed with lives, like toy pieces. Simply and honestly, Keating said, “We’ll see won’t we... if we’re still standin’ then.” “Andry, no offense,” Keating retorted with a laugh at Andry’s words, looking up at the man, “but if I need an escort home, it ain’t gonna be you... and I hope to Bala its one ‘a them.” he shifted his head to indicate some of the prettier barmaids standing behind the counter. But as his appraising gaze left the women and returned to the merchant’s son, he couldn’t help but wonder once more what had passed between himself and Andry that he would share so much. But in the end, Keating decided that memories and regrets just came when they would. And after ten years in the hell of their presence… he still wasn’t used to it. The farmer’s demeanor and words were more jovial now, but his eyes still held the deep, haunted look of tragedy. It didn’t stop Keating from ribbing the man one last time, “Watch out for the rat traps, Andry… never know when one’ll snap shut on you.”

Some of your skills, such as hypnotism and flux, are still just competent. A little more effort, not so much as when they were novice though, still needs to be put into them I think. It only becomes easy when you are an expert.. although you did make a point of describing coming off the Flux, Jen wants more detail on the actual process of using the magic.
